We celebrated our 47 wedding anniversary on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. It was a great place to celebrate our day. The waiter was great. The food was delicious.

My experience started out ok. The wait wasn’t TOO long but it was longer than expected based off of the crowd. It wasn’t that busy. My food was great. No complaints. I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and the fish and grits for my entree. Everything turned bad when I got my bill. They bring out the machine so you can pay, without actually looking at the receipt. The amount sounded way more than it should, but I’m like maybe it’s the taxes and gratuity. I finally received my receipt through text and I looked over it. For some reason, there were 2 fried green tomatoes on there. The receipt showed that they “removed it” by giving me a discount of the amount of the friend green tomatoes($23). The subtotal on the bill showed $81 but should have been $58. So since they basically gave me a discount of the price of the tomatoes that wasn’t on there, it still calculated as if my bill was $81 and not $58. So the taxes and the 20% gratuity was calculated based off of $81. I let the manager know the problem and he was very dismissive. He said that my ticket was correct. And I kept telling him it wasn’t. I showed him how the gratuity was showing 20% of $81 and not $58 and he told me he could 100% assure me that it was correct. And I kept pleading my case but he wasn’t trying to hear me. He was barely listening to anything I said. I asked could he print another receipt without the extra tomatoes added but he claimed he couldn’t do that because he’d have to void my initial ticket and would have to charge me twice. I told him, he would not charge my card twice for the wrong amount. He wasn’t trying to help the situation.He asked what am I expecting or what’s the difference because he was too busy to deal with this. I was appalled because I was a paying customer and he acted that way. I didn’t mind paying because obviously I did, but I wanted to pay for what I had and not a mistake by them. The food was amazing but that ruined my experience! I don’t recommend!

The food was good and sides are largely proportioned. for what you have to pay. The appetizers can be more proportion not enough for the price. The wait for the food was an hour entirely too long.

Food was DELICIOUS!! Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Seasoned to perfection and full of flavor. The staff was polite and professional. The only thing I didn't like was the 20% added gratuity to every check regardless of the size of your party(we had 4 ppl in our party. Decor was beautiful! Perfect for date night or grabbing drinks and did with friends.

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and still had to wait an additional 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. The A/C was broken, and although they had AC generators blowing, it was still very hot. Food took an extremely long time to be served.. Our waitress was amazing. She was friendly and provided exceptional service.
