The Kitchen (formerly Green Springs Bistro) is now open and taking this beloved Safety Harbor dining tradition to the next level on every front. Whether raising a glass among family and friends, enjoying a romantic date night or indulging in exceptional steaks, fresh Gulf seafood or Southern comfort food with a modern twist, you’ll find that time spent here is more delicious than ever.

New owners Rob Doyle and Mary Grasso along with Executive Chef Josh Needham are keeping some of the old menu favorites while introducing an eclectic mix of New American dishes served tapas-style. Our newest editions include a full liquor bar and adding even more charm to this historic bungalow setting: an outdoor pavilion where you can dine under the twinkling oak trees and stars.

Great food, great service…and great live music this morning. What a great way to start the day! Shrimp and grits, lemon poppyseed pancakes, and a new taco offering were pleasing to everyone at our table. A great choice for brunch!

This was our first brunch experience at the kitchen and it was phenomenal. We sat outside and enjoyed the live music (follow their social media for scheduled performances). Highly recommend!

I like the restaurant. Went with my sister and we sat in the patio dining area-very pleasant. The only problem I encountered was with my entree. I'm a vegetarian. They have only one vegetarian entree listed on their dinner menu. Vegetable Red Curry. It was so spicy it made my nose run and eyes water so I asked our server to bring something calming, like yogurt, which he did. I ate some and brought the rest home. Will try adding some plain spaghetti noodles. My sister enjoyed her Chicken Marsala.
