   Delicious and ambitious menu, combined with a beautiful renovated dining room and friendly service. Definitely get the avocado toast!

   Service was terrific! Seating, lovely. Food was barely warm. I should have sent it back but was pressed for time.

   Although the service was a bit spotty, the waitstaff was incredibly pleasant and the food was delicious.

   We had the savory French toast with lox and tomato soup. It was wonderful, and the service was excellent.

   Kirsh Kitchen has become our favorite new restaurant in the neighborhood. We've been there - mostly for dinner - about 10 times since they opened and have never been disappointed. It's a quiet, casual, friendly cafe. The dinner menu is somewhat limited, but almost every item is a winner. The baked goods, as you might expect from a bakery/restaurant, are phenomenal. Some of our favorite items on the lunch/dinner menu: the bread basket, omelette, full English breakfast, burger, grilled chicken sandwich, quiche, pesto chicken pasta, chicken cordon bleu. The service has always been friendly and efficient. For a basic, everyday go-to restaurant in the neighborhood, we highly recommend this place.

   I love Kirsh! I think the food is very reasonably priced and delicious, the space is clean and bright and the staff is exceptional!

   The menu selections are accurately described and the staff is well-versed in answering any additional questions. The portions are enormous so sharing is always a possibility. We recently had the BLTE--E for melted Emmenthaler and it was outstanding. So were the fries. The shephard's salad is a meal in itself. Globe artichoke and grilled shrimp is well-flavored but could have used a bit of salt in the cooking of the artichoke. We live right across the street and are so happy to be able to have a second kitchen away from home!

   Really disappointing experience. Made brunch reservations to catch up with a friend and we were really looking forward to trying this place. We got there a little early and still had to stand and wait for table although the place was half empty. First off, they clearly have brunch drinks advertised all over menu and website but when we ordered were told they didn't have a liquor license, had we known I would have booked elsewhere. Service very friendly but slow, not a big deal except the food was such a letdown. My friend asked for goat cheese in her omelet and she said part of it had the goat cheese but the rest clearly had brie - the chunks had the white rind and the creamy center and it tasted like brie. Not what she wanted, took awhile to get waiter's attention and he tried to convince her it was goat cheese, that they make it a special way and "don't even have brie on the premises". Whatever. She left half of hers on plate. My french toast with bacon and egg was so dry and the bacon chewy (eww) I left about half of it too. Cup of coffee is $4 and no refills. Won't come back and won't recommend, h

    Restaurant was overbooked. Host was a bit aggressive, but waiter was very nice.
