   Had a great birthday dinner celebrating our daughter. Food was great. Service was great (Shay was outstanding)!

   Robert was awesome and the steaks we had were cooked to perfection. This is our go to place for steak in The Woodlands with others nowhere near what Kirby’s has to offer.

   Excellent food and service. The bone-in fillet was one of the best I’ve eaten as was the 7 oz fillet. Service was great-did not feel rushed as with many restaurants, but available. Because it is an open-space concept environment the noise level could be annoying at times.

   We visit Kirby’s in The Woodlands at least twice a month—sometimes as often as four times—and the service is consistently the best in the area. Every visit is an outstanding experience.”

   Went for my wife’s birthday dinner. Just two of us. Sat at our table immediately (we were a few minutes early). Colin was our waiter, he was prompt and courteous. Ordered drinks and when they arrived we ordered entrees. Both of us ordered filets, split a wedge salad (it was the best part of the meal) mine w/ baked potato and my wife ordered Au Gratin. Meal was served and informed my wife “somehow her potatoes aren’t with the order”. Colin said they take 10 minutes, wife declined and we split the baked potato. We finished dinner and wife ordered Key Lime Pie slice to go. Pay the bill and there is no Au Gratin on the bill, and also no discount, no “free” pie slice. Am I expecting that? No indeed. Do I think it would have made a still nearly $200 tab more palatable - indeed. The steaks are on the tight side of advertised sizes, really not much flavor (even with additional “toppings”. So a couple of things in general, eating out at places like this is no longer even remotely close to the value you get for your tab. And if I’m expected to pay this much for not much more than standard food quality, AND expected to pay servers a handsome tip, then my order, service, and quality better be on point in all areas. And before you get antsy, I still tipped almost 30%, but that doesn’t mean I’ll be running back to eat there anytime soon.

   We always have a wonderful time dining at Kirby‘s. Unfortunately, our favorite server Tim was not working tonight, but the rest of the staff handled everything very well. The manager, Matt is always there to greet the guests where a warm smile. We will be back.

   We enjoyed our Anniversary dinner. Nice touch with complimentary dessert and photo. Service was spot on.
