   Fantastic meal! Asked for the Caesar salad to be chopped in the kitchen w light dressing - it came out perfectly as did the lobster and crab/asparagus appetizer. It’s also lovely that they remember your drink order and ensure your needs are anticipated!

   Ordered the June special, filet (medium) with crab Newburg, and I asked for the Newburg to not be on the steak and to be on a separate plate. They brought the dish with the Newburg on the steak and I asked them to remake it. They remade it and actually butterflied a 7oz filet. The steak was overcooked and served at medium well. Frankly, this isn't our first issue with Kirby's and we will NOT be going back. PS. My wife ordered her steak the same way and the same thing happened to her.

   Never had a bad meal at Kirby’s! Tequila Shrimp for an appetizer, split a chopped salad and we both had the “Steak & Cake”- a 5oz filet + a 3oz crab cake w Burrell blanc sauce along w au gratin potatoes. Soooo- decadent! The crab cake is all crab and no filler- it’s the real deal. Enjoyed glasses of Orrin Swift Texas wine. Complimentary champagne and chocolate cake and ice cream (too full to eat there) to celebrate our 29th anniversary with a couple sitting behind us celebrating their 35th. My only advice is DONT EAT TOO MUCH BREAD! It is delicious sourdough and will tempt you mightily!!!

   The cocktails we had before dinner were very good. The dinner we had was excellent. Everything cooked to perfection and tasted so good. We didn't have to wait too long between the time we placed our order and when the food arrived. Waiter was excellent. We highly recommend!

    Mothers Day! Was there with my Mom and wife. Mid-day perfect time to go… not quite as busy. Food and service was great tonight! No hiccups! Steaks cooked perfectly, trimmed right and all hot! Bar drinks on par as well! Why we keep coming back

    The Mother’s Day special was perfect except for the lobster bisque was very watered down and little to no lobster in my bowl The steak was excellent !! And our special Morhers Day treat was so unexpected but loved great way to End the meal Our server Roy was excelled we had 3 kids and he added another table so we would have extra room for the kids

    The food and service were outstanding. The only reason I rated it a 4 out of 5 was because I thought it was pricier than most good steak restaurants. Overall, delicious steaks and sides. They had a nice wine list with a wide range in costs.

    The Kirby’s staff was spot on as usual. The servers go over and beyond to make the dining experience a Great one. Jane was our server for our Son’s Bday and she was excellent… Friendly and attentive. They actually decorated the table for my Son’s Bday. They at Kirby’s are the best!!!!

    We celebrated our 22 year anniversary and Kirby's made it even more special. We received a complementary glass of champagne and for dessert we received the best chocolate cake in the world with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It was FABULOUS!!! Our server was phenomenal and even went as far as taking our picture and printing it so we can have the memory forever. I recommend this restaurant to anyone ready to enjoy a memorable and special night.

    The food was fantastic and our server, Devin could not have been better! We had the Lobster Cargot and while it was a little different from previous times, it was delicious. The Angus Ribeye with Béarnaise sauce and the Filet Mignon with Lobster Oscar were perfectly cooked. The Lobster Mac & Cheese and Roasted Bacon Brussels Sprouts were outstanding.

    We enjoyed a fine meal with family on Easter Sunday. Our steaks were medium rare vs the medium we ordered but still excellent taste. The crab cake was superb. The service was up to Kirby standards. We were disappointed but not surprised by the recent trend of upcharges when we asked for extra blue cheese dressing (excellent) and we were offered blue cheese crumbs. Ask before you leap. Kirby's atmosphere plus high quality food make it our favorite San Antonio steakhouse.

    Kirby's never disappoints. My steak was cooked to perfection and the crab cakes are filled with crab! We usually sit in the bar but changed it up to the dining room. Our server, Imani is always a pleasure and on top of everything. The food, ambiance and great service keep us coming back!
