Wonderful Indian Food and great service! We will be back!
Even with my my reservation done I had to wait 40 minutes to have my table ready. It was the second time that it happened. The place is nice, the waiters are kind and the food is great but this wait time wasn’t a good experience.
Apparently the restaurant had a private party for 50 people and Open Table didn't take that into account when I made my reservation. Therefore, we were given a table hidden in a small noisy room wit only 3 tables, the service was really poor. The food was very good but the total experience was poor.
Love this restaurant. Food is excellent, the best. But sadly on this occasion, the restaurant was seriously overbooked and our party was crammed in the corner with very little room to move. Also had to listen to a private party making microphone announcements. Getting to the bathroom was also a delicate operation!
First bad experience there but will definitely be back as the food is too good to miss!
Delicious for everyone in our group, both for those who love Indian and those who don't. Service was excellent. We all noticed that the noise level allowed us to talk to each other. Was a great place to go. We'll be back!
One of the best restaurants in Houston without question.
Great food and service. New location is beautiful.
I consider Kiran's to be the best Indian restaurant in Houston. The food is so wonderfully flavored and expertly prepared. The service is terrific.
Excellent as always! Perfect service and fabulous food.nnwonderful wine list..
Food was delicious and service was great. Free parking is a plus.
Attended wine dinner. The wine was perfectly paired with the food. Dinner was excellent as was the wine and the service.
Love this restaurant. It never disappoints. Butter Chicken was the table favorite. Naan is tasty too.
Food was great and delicious! Hospitality & Food Service was one of the most attracting part that made our dinner very special....
This is the best Indian food in Houston and one of the best dining experiences in the city.
Everything we ate was delicious. Service was prompt and attentive. Excellent wine list. Beautiful place.
We went to Kiran's for our Anniversary and it was a perfect evening. Our waiter Jordan was excellent taking time to explain the menu, attentive but not hovering. The food was delicious. We had the pleasure of sitting next to the Owner's brother which meant she came out of the kitchen and was kind enough to stop and speak to us during our meal, wish us Happy Anniversary. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough and only wish we had discovered it sooner.
Gormet Indian, Best in Houston!
Perfectly done. Great meal.
Had a very nice meal at Kiran's. Server was very knowledgeable and helped us pick an excellent meal. Unfortunately we were seated right next to a noisy couple for our anniversary dinner which put a damper on an otherwise fantastic experience.
Enjoyed it very much . Great waiter , not pushy at all and just ordered what was recommended. Perfect selections. A bit pricy for Indian cuisine but product that came out was of great quality.
The servers were intrusive - -we were talking and they were very aggressive about trying to get our order. The two servers did not talk to each other, and we were repeatedly asked the saem thing. The server then mixed up the credit card with the next table. I was not impressed with the service; for that price they can hire professionals.
It was good but not to the level of other reviews. It was a business meal but the place was very loud and the seating was very cramped. we couldn't move too much since the tables were all very close and my guests kept getting bumped into by other guests going into a party room or going to restrooms. I liked their previous location.
Food was very OK, nothing to rave about, again, I remember the taste and the quality being much better in previous location
Absolutely excellent as always. How lucky Houston is to have such a fine restaurant. We were with friends from Austin and this was their first time at Kiran's. They were very impressed with this wonderful gourmet Indian restaurant.
Love the food and the service is always good.
We booked a table, last minute, in the bar area. Can’t say I would do that again as it lacked ambiance and comfort. The Vindaloo meatballs were excellent as were the asparagus Pakora. The Texas Quail with fruity Biryani rice was very tasty and light. We finished with the lamb Korma. A delicious curry with spices on point. All in all we will return to try different dishes but it’s pricey ( $80 pp items listed plus 2 cocktails each) so beware
Thank you for making excellent quality Indian food. The Rose Martini was excellent quality as well. The new location is stunning and very comfortable!
Everything was fantastic. Owner worked the floor to guarantee a wonderful experience. Saw several friends who had similar experiences
Excellent lunch at Kiran's. We had the Punjabi Thali which is consistently good.
Food was as usual good but not as good as their old location. Had initial hiccups for check in. other than that experience was really good.
The food and service were excellent. We had four vegetarian sides. For the price, I thought the dishes were pretty small - but delicious. Onion Kulcha is not on the menu but our waiter said "no problem" and it was also delicious. The mushroom appetizer - you got it - delicious. We had a wonderful time.
The food at Kiran’s is alway top notch, gourmet Indian cuisine. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and professional. I highly recommended just about everything on the menu, and the cocktails are usually spot on. A couple of things were amiss on this visit: (1) they took our plates and remaining food off the table even though all but one of our group of four was still eating (without even asking if we were finished), and (2) it took forever to get our Pre-dinner cocktails, and when we ordered drinks with dinner they were also late to arrive (why is the bar so slow?)
For a dinner that cost $300 for four people I generally expect more polished and prompt service overall, and our waiter shouldn’t have to keep apologizing.
Top quality, "white tablecloth" (but comfortable and unpretentious) Indian dining. The service is excellent, the wait staff are knowledgeable and the items on the menu are varied and delicious.
Definitely pricey. We ordered three entrees, two appetizers plus bread and rice. Paid over 300.00 Didn't have wine or dessert.
Awesome modern Indian!!
We hadn’t been since they opened in this space in 2017. The place is gorgeous and the food is even better. The gosht naan was spicy and well stuffed, the samosas and chicken tikka chili were excellent, and the Cornish hen with Tamarind glaze and rice on the side was amazing. One caveat: It was big enough for two to split, so make sure you’re hungry when you order it! The bottle of prosecco we had ($40) was actually perfect with it. Go, and enjoy!
Enjoyed a fantastic lunch with friends. The new menu is exciting. All dishes we ordered were great but the prawn and green mango curry and potato nan were phenomenal. The kheer dessert was full of nuts yet light and refreshing.
Ambiance was amazing. Great cocktails and good food menu. Overall how felt recommended for a upscale Indian dinner 🙂
Totally enjoyed our meal and service. Loved the evening of good food.
Love this restaurant! I wish it was closer to me. I suppose I may have to move closer to there. It would be worth it.
