Over all, I feel that this was a nice place. It was very quite so my group was sorta load. Nice and comfortable feeling of the place, not crowed at all and my reservation was at 5:15. The salad I had was house salad with chicken and it was huge, actually a little to much and the chicken was bland and dry. However my husband had the Salmon salad and said it was excellent. Good time over all, and very nice place.

We had the Angus burgers. They were very good. My only dis Disappointment was that the mustard came in packets and I couldn’t open them. In a nice restaurant that you are eating in mustard should come in a bottle. Packets are for pick up food. We love mustard on our burgers but we couldn’t because of unable to open packets. I am not going to ruin my teeth trying to open them. Just saying

Order the Pub Pretzel's!! You won't be disappointed. My blackened Salmon salad was a generous portion with a delicious mixture of greens, goat cheese, strawberries, red onion, toasted almonds. I exchanged the dressing listed for Honey Musturd. My guest ordered the Walleye fish and chips and commented the Walleye was tasty and not overly covered that allowed the fish to be the main item. Kips does it right - generous portions, good service and reasonably priced.

The food was such a disappointment, especially for the price. Nothing special was offered, and the food was VERY bland. Tasted like hospital food, and not a huge selection. There was only 3 or 4 selections of desserts, and only coffee & juice was offered as far as I could tell for a drink choice. Will not be returning. For a mother's day brunch, it was terrible!

Cheap food, slow service. Overpriced for the quality of the food, mimosas were made with gionelli lambrusco (i.e. cheap champagne). Too many underdressed hotel guests, layout of buffet was a bit of a mess considering the occasion. Definitely won't be back!

The Mother’s Day brunch was just okay. Server did not come to table much. Felt like we sat and stared at empty stacks of plates for a long time before cleared. The food was not very special and it’s really crowded to go get an omelette and try to wait near where people are dishing up. Also one of the buffet stands is across the way where you need to “excuse me…excuse me” through people waiting to be seated.

We were looking for someplace local to meet for dinner with our friends. The restaurant is lovely and well-kept. All four of us ordered different entrees -- the salmon, the buffalo jumbo shrimp, the fish and chips, and the Rueben. All were quite good. We also ordered the pretzel appetizer, which was excellent and really set the tone for the meal. Our server was very nice and appropriately attentive, although she had a bit too much of a workload, in my opinion. Overall, we had a great experience. It had been a number of years since any of us had been to Kip's. We won't wait that long before heading back again!

My wife and I go to Kips once in a while. It is one of our go-to few spots when we want to go out for a drink and can have food when we want to. It is a nice place and we enjoy it. The menu has been cut back during the Covid pandemic but the food is always good and it is a nice atmosphere.
