The garden setting was beautiful and so relaxing. I need to eat Gluten Free and they were very accommodating. The appetizers were great and my family raved about their dinners. My chicken was pretty dry but everything else was wonderful! We will definitely go again

The oysters, octopus and the whole lion fish were amazing. As an ex-bartender I particularly enjoyed the delicious cocktails! We tried the flora’s folly and the melonito - both great!

As former Chapel Hill residents we grew to love Georgio’s restaurants. Kipos Wilmington is another good one.. beautiful outdoor dining area & inside seating areas are a breath of fresh air in the Wilmington dining scene. Our lamb, tuna & salads were first rate. Highly recommended!

Really enjoy this place, wonderful ambiance, great staff, lovely outdoor area. Loved the saganaki and fava bean spread apps. The pasticio was good too. Prices are on the high end for sure so it’s more of a “special” place for us.

The outdoor garden seating is absolutely gorgeous. It does make for a longer trip for the serving staff, however, so don't expect a speedy dinner. The prices are a bit steep (especially compared to the Chapel Hill location) and the food is a bit heavier than expected. Overall, a nice experience.

Always great vibes and top notch service here. Chef George is also top notch. Shared a 3 lb snapper. Excellent presentation. Only thing I have is menu items that stray from traditional Greek (the patates with a mustard sauce instead of lemon olive oil) tend to be not their best options. Go for traditional items and they’re always a hit. Seafood is excellent. Decor and ambiance particularly new garden area is gorgeous.

Our first time and will not be the last! We sat outside in the garden area and it was delightful. The service was great and very attentive. Jeff the sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and suggested a fabulous wine!! I visit family in Wilmington and will most definitely return. The grilled octopus was the best I’ve ever had!! Best Greek food outside of Greece and best meal in Wilmington!

It was a wonderful experience. I made a reservation for 1, just myself as I was traveling in the area, and they made me feel very welcomed. The general manager was so friendly and took the time to chat with me and check in at points of ny dinner, as well as my waitress was so kind and knowledgeable about the area. The food was fresh, authentic style Greek cuisine and each dish I had was beautiful flavored. Highly recommend this place! I ordered the tuna tartare, and grilled octopus along with the chocolate flourless torte.

The food, wine and service were all wonderful. Something new as an appetizer, with or without octopus, was the Fava - so good! We had a lovely table on the newly opened outdoor patio. If you are there in the early evening, you might consider a hat and sunglasses; as the sun sets depending on where your table is it may give you some relief from the blinding sun.

This was our 2nd visit to Kipos; it did not disappoint. As always, the ambiance is wonderfully refreshing - they have added some cool chandeliers, which add a neat lighting to the already well-lighted restaurant. The place was hopping, as usual, with the indoor faculty packed, yet quiet and comfortable, and the covered patio was also full, as was the spacious completely outdoor space. Everyone was enjoying their meal. The service was excellent - our server - Shelle - was efficient and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu choices. The appetizers were superb, as we expected. The tuna tartare was excellent and the zucchini stack was absolutely superb. The entrées were all so good. It was hard to choose, but we opted for the short rib, the salmon, the lion fish and the grilled octopus. Each entrée was cooked to perfection or one complaint - was that the 1 pound lion fish, by the time it was prepared at table side, was about 8 ounces. No problem.- management reduce the price of the entrée accordingly. The desserts - we try the cheesecake and the Keylime pie. Both were large portions and absolutely delicious. No dinner at Kipos would be complete without a visit from Kathy Squires, the manager, who always stops by the table for a chat. We just love this place and can’t wait to come back again real soon.

My husband and I ate here to celebrate our anniversary. We loved everything we ordered. The service was great and wine suggestions were perfect. I especially like the decor and atmosphere. The renovations to the place are really beautiful. We will definitely be back. Oh, and thank you for marking the gluten free items on your menu. So helpful!

We've now been to Kippos multiple times. The food is consistently good and the service was excellent. They have a variety of good greek wines on the menu and traditional greek dishes as well as more Americanized options. We had the saganaki and taramolsata; both are consistently good. The grilled pita is a nice touch. The short ribs were cooked perfectly and fell apart. The Kakaiva has become one of my husband's favorite dishes. Recently, they've added a beautiful garden to the back. I can't wait to return and eat outdoors.
