Love every visit with kings kitchen… fish and steak were tasty but not up to par for the price
Great food, fun atmosphere, and the servers are great!
Excellent dinner! Prices have gone up, but unfortunately in today’s economy, it is necessary to stay a viable business.
King’s Kitchen is a hidden gem. Not what you would expect, that was the biggest surprise. The food is amazing, the flavors are incredible. New favorite spot in Fort Myers.
We were referred to King's Kitchen and Bar by recommendation on the Nextdoor app. We were not disappointed. First, they take reservations, there was no wait and we were seated right away. Nice patio eating area, spaced appropriately. Violet was our server and was very attentive but not intrusive. She was very helpful. We would definitely return and will recommend to others.
Over priced, mediocre food, our waitress messed up our order, then proceeded to overcharge us. Horrible attitude the entire meal service.
A birthday dinner with friends was great. We’ve been many times but this was their first time. Food was excellent and service was very good. Great Caribbean flair to the menu.
Lovely evening. Our meals were delicious and Violet made sure that we were well taken care of. Spacious outdoor patio with a great vibe.
We'll be back!
Great unique menu and food. Nice atmosphere, live music the night we were there. They were understaffed so service was a little slow, but the waitress was very good.
Delicious! Our party had a shrimp allergy, the chef came out and spoke to her, and they were so very careful. The dinners were perfect!!
I would say the seafood quesadilla would have been very good if…
there had been no fishy taste in some lobster pieces. Once I added more mango salsa the quesadilla was very good. I’d recommend the restaurant use langostino instead. The shrimp in it was very good though.
The steak Tacos were excellent and I highly recommend them!
We have dined here several times and have always had very high quality, flavorful food and great service. We enjoy their outdoor area listening to music while we dine.
The tacos were the best Ive ever had. The wait staff were attentive and the facilities were clean.
I was pleasantly surprised that the hostess noticed the note I put on my OpenTable reservation, asking for a later table outdoors if one opens up. She called me and we changed us to a later reservation outdoors.
All of our food was fabulous as usual. We had two of our favorites again— the lobster tamale and the Baramundi with mango salsa. The only teensy issues were that our entrées came before we were finished with our appetizers, and the live music didn’t start until after we left. We thought they started earlier in the evening.
Excellent venue with great ambiance. Food is fanatic but drinks are overpriced.
We love King’s Kitchen. Tonight we decided to try something we hadn’t had before. Went with the lobster tamale and the El Churrasco skirt steak. Both were delicious!
This was a delightful surprise!! Our first time dining there and we LOVED it! Unique and thoughtful cuisine in a fun environment. Loved the music and the owner is awesome! Great attention to detail. Highly recommend!!
Great atmosphere with live music and a menu with such a wide variety of options everyone can be happy! Our server was so pleasant and attentive! Will definitely be back!
This was the second time I have been here and it has been a delicious experience both times!
I was looking forward to eating there after reading some of the other reviews. Party of 4, our server was attentive but not overbearing.
I had the Kountry fried chicken with white gravy. The portion was small, one piece of chicken which was very thin on one end and thick on the other end, so unevenly cooked. The white gravy was thin and runny. Mashed potatoes were good.
Not what I was hoping for.
Service was impeccable. My granddaughter didn't like her meal and was quickly offered another choice, without charge. We don't ever get service like that in Canada! Will definitely return and recommend to friends.
Cuban flavor infused. Ceviche was excellent. The fish was a bit overcooked.
Great atmosphere and service. The food was outstanding as well
Shrimp scampi was only lukewarm. Waitress never came back to ask how is everything until 3/4 finished. Way too much salt on the French fries so you couldn’t eat them. Lighting so poor at the low tables you couldn’t see your food. We asked for a candle. She said it would be $7/hr to light up the fire stones in the middle of the table. The music was too loud also. We took first time quests there and we were embarrassed it was such a bad experience.
The owner did offer us a free dessert for our complaints and that was delicious.
Great food and service in a very laid back casual setting. Live music was good, not overpowering.
Awesome food!! Great service! Sat outside and the weather was great but the band was loud and we could not hear our conversations.
Quaint, delicious and welcoming. My favorite place!
Food is outstanding. Great menu and food choices. Sangria HORRIBLE. 3 of us ordered it and either fruit was spoiled or wine was old but boy was it bad. Food takes awhile to come out even when restaurant not busy. It’s small inside and there was only one other table in there and it was loud inside. Granted, that table was loud but since it’s small inside ….Food was really great. Started with the tostone platter. The seafood quesadillas were fantastic and filled with mango and jalapeño. The sampler platter with ropa viella, roasted pork and picadillo was delicious. I had the vegan pastelon. At $27 it wasn’t worth it. Very little “meat” and no olives. Basically just maduras.
We loved this place!
The Empanada appetizer was over the top outstanding. Crispy pastry shell and moderately spicy meat filling. A definite must. The El Churrasco flank steak was very tender and cooked to my order of medium rare. Paired with Chimichurri Sauce made this dish very tasty and a definite order item. My friends Tacos also received a 👍🏽. Pricing made these dishes a great value.
Great empanadas and tacos - outside patio was very nice. Service was outstanding - one request - food came very quickly and we'd have preferred a more leisurely dinner. So if that's your preference just ask I'm sure they will accommodate !
Prime rib was dry
My wife and I went there for my birthday. Great and friendly service and impeccable food! Great Cuban cuisine with other options as well. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. I met the owner Joshua and i would like him to know what top quality chefs he has in his kitchen! We will most certainly be back!
As usual, this is our go-to place when we want great food and service. We took neighbors there for dinner, and they fell in love with the place. The food was great, especially the lobster tamale, which is a given every visit. The only negative of the evening, and it wasn't any where near a show stopper, was the fact that we had an outdoor reservation, and because there was the possibility of rain, we were moved inside. The ambiance inside is not the best as it is extremely loud and for whatever reason, the table tops were very sticky, as if they were just varnished. These two annoyances still didn't dampen our enjoyment of the evening. And, it didn't rain!
We'll be back and usually bring along a newbie who has not been to the kitchen!
This was our first visit to King's Kitchen and Bar so we didn't know what to expect. We really liked the ambience and although it was a bit loud, we like that people were having a good time. There were four of us and some of the food was excellent and a couple of other things were just OK. We will certainly return and order something different as there is a wide variety from which to choose.
Very hip and fun place to eat with outstanding food. Love eating outside. Band was great but a bit loud for dining. I would love for drinks and dancing.
Great food! We love this place but drinks are a bit pricey!
The food was excellent, as was the service. The drinks, however, were very overpriced.
I like to have something on the rocks, a well variety is fine. This was not available. Our drink bill was as much as the food bill. This is not acceptable.
This was my second time coming and I must say the food and service was on point ! see you soon lol
Excellent food and service ! Will definitely be back!
