Yummy food! Fried green plantain app (pictured) was delicious. Prime rib sandwich a winner. Ropa vieja, great. Overall, we really enjoyed it & will absolutely be back!
This was our third visit and we are never disappointed. Everything is made to order served hot and delicious. I tried the shrimp scampi this visit and I must say I was not at all disappointed. One of the best scampi’s I have ever had. It really is a great find that we found recently. We will be back for sure—soon.
Always an AMAZING experience. Setting, ambiance, service, chef, food, wine... simply superb every time we visit. It's our favorite date night location.
Would highly recommend. The food was outstanding, along with the service. We’ll definitely go back.
Always a great dinner and excellent service.
This was our first time at King's Kitchen. We sat outside and they had a nicely shaded area with fans running for air movement. It appeared that there was only one waiter working, and he tried very hard to keep up. We were not in a rush, so it was not an issue. The food was very good and we would go back again to try some different items on the menu.
Great potential but our visit did not meet our expectations. Service was good and nice ambience but some of the dishes were too salty. Food taste was good but salt overwhelmed the food flavor
Delicious food. Enjoyed their recommendation of the Mojo Pork. Rice and beans were flavorful! Very healthy portions; the pork was probably a good 3/4 to 1# of meat. My wife had the Steak with Chimichurri which was also really good and garlicky! Their Kountry fried chicken was also very good. Ambiance was nice although their lights kept flickering which made me think something was wrong with my eyes. LOL Overall, really enjoyed it there.
Great food and service. Tucked away from the downtown crowds, this gem is not to be missed.
Vacation stop. Really fun. Patrick is a personable and joyful host. Plants in chips are house made. Generous serving. Very good food.
Love this place! Will be back next time in town! French Onion Soup was great!
Another great meal plus the waiter was both good & entertaining!
This was a great spot for Valentine's Day. Creative menu, great wine selection, roses for the ladies. The service was top notch as always. Our reserved table was ready right when we walked in the door.
Absolutely our favorite place. Great food and the crew are so friendly and give great service.
Got to sit outside. Beautiful night. Great appetizers and excellent food. Better than we could have imagined. Competent and Great staff. Loved it and will be back!
My sister & I loved our food - cajun chicken pasta & shrimp scampi -of course the wine pour is fantastic!!
Fun and funky atmosphere, on the small side, so make sure you have reservations, it fills up quickly.
Interesting and eclectric menu, all the food was very fresh and tasty. There were 3 in our party and we all ordered different items. All food was well presented and fairly priced.
We all had the same negative comment, and we all wondered whether it was an exception or a rule. All of the food, to our taste was heavily salted.
We will definitely return, in hopes that the heavy handed salt was a 'one off''.
Wife and I out
Definitely a hidden gem. We have been wanting to try this restaurant since I saw it on OpenTable. We went with friends from out of town and had a great experience. We all enjoyed the meal and had plenty to take home. Mojo pork, pork tenderloin, empanadas and tostones were delicious. The owners were very hospitable and service was spot on. This will definitely be a regular spot for us.
My husband and I went to Kings Kitche. We loved it!! We will go back..
Excellent food! Excited to try more things. Love that they take reservations.
My husband and I dined for the first time on New Year’s Eve. The staff was dressed up for the occasion and they had some New Year’s Specials as well as their regular menu. They did a good job of making our dining experience a special occasion. I got the Mojo pork which was awesome and added plantains which I would highly recommend. The French Onion Soup was outstanding. My husband enjoyed his steak with chimichurri. Portions were generous and prices fair. We will be back on a regular basis. This is a new favorite for us!
Very tasty food, interesting menus, great service nice ambiance.
One of the best date night restaurants in the area. I say its like a Spanish "Cracker Barrel". Great southern style comfort food, with a twist! They always have a nightly special, and its always super good. As our waiter said last time when asked about ordering the shrimp scampi vs the pork chop & blue cheese gnocchi special, "you can have shrimp scampi anywhere, but this special is only here & tonight" Well, he was right, it was amazing once again!
We went to King's Kitchen after a play nearby. The service was quick and professional. My wife and I both ordered a glass of wine, a pinot noir for me, a pinot grigio for her. The pours were bountiful and the wine was good. I had the moko pork. it came with delicious fresh green beans and rice and beans. Everything was very good. The portion of the pork was very large. I took more than half of it. King's Kitchen serves comfort food with a Latin flair. We will definitely be back
Made a reservation on Open Table for 6 people for 5:45. We arrived on time, standing at the door waiting to be acknowledged or seated. The restaurant had 3 tables seated with a number of others empty. So we waited and waited, finally someone showed up, told him we had a reservation for 6 - he grumbled something then asked if we made the reservation on Open Table. We suggested to him that we could push two tables together and sit down which we did. So there we sat and sat and sat - it appeared that there was only one waiter who was also the hostess, bartender and server. After 10 minutes and noticing that other tables had no food or water, we all agreed that it was going to take forever for a meal at this place. To be fair, we had no food here so the rating of one star was only because I couldn’t continue with this review without a rating.
My husband and I plan to try again this this place and I’m hoping to be able to give a better review.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. My wife and I both ordered the Shrimp & Mussel Fra Diablo and it was outstanding. This restaurant is a small out of the way place, but it is a real gem. We recommend it.
We love it here . You can tell the the owners love what they do .
What a breath of fresh air!! The food was amazing! The staff was very attentive and friendly! We just found our new restaurant to impress our foodie friends....
Always good food and great service.
Unexpected diamond in the rough !!
Food was exquisite!! Will be going back again!
A must try..
Dinner here is never disappointing. Ozzie provides great service and excellent food.
The empanadas are the best I've ever paid for (the best were made by a dear departed friend from Chile, and she always gave them away). I didn't think I could eat two AND a main course, but I was in no rush. I only wish they had a lechon sandwich, and a full bar (the bar is coming soon). Friendly people, nice atmosphere, I hope to go back soon!
Food was great! Friendly service!
Great spot for both locals and visitors!!! Staff is excellent.
The place was empty, and the only table with patrons was very noisy. It was basically a bar, and not what I expected.
Very interesting decor.
Everyone around us was raving about their food.
Lots of ambiance! We had a light lunch of salads, that were excellent. Attentive service and sangria. Will return for a dinner.
One of the best restaurants in the Fort Myers area. Great little room, the service is over the top and the meal was fantastic from start to finish. Do not expect a seven page menu or the standard fare that you find at most restaurants; these guys take their food seriously and get very creative. We happened to be there on the night they smoked a prime rib -- it was absolutely amazing and it was perfectly paired with their homemade red sangria. I highly recommend!
Love the food. We had smoked prime rib. Yummy!
