We’re also the home of fabulous Bingo and Trivia on Monday nights, and the King’s Highway coffee bar serves beans from our friends at Stumptown all day.

Get their frozen drink. It rotates, but we got Frozen Palomas and they were the perfect Palm Spring sipper.
Great food and service but I didn’t like that people were smoking at tables near to us. I’ve never seen this in California before... not great when you’re eating.
Casual, healthy options, hipster crowd
Food was very good the menu is limited. The experience was enjoyable the atmosphere is casual.
The best avocado toast around! The hash browns were delicious too!
Love the food
The premise of this restaurant is good, and the vibe is great; however, the food was a bit of a disappointment. Not seasoned at all and just ok. The exceptions were the apps, specifically the buffalo cauliflower.
Our server was friendly and efficient, the food was good, we will return.
Food is just so average. Disappointing for a foodie like me. I can make better food. Had dirty rice with chicken. Dull. So many great Palm Springs food options. Pass on this one!
This was a great first stop in Palm Springs for a quick lunch. The food is great, but the interiors are definitely the highlight of Kong’s Highway! I felt like I had been transported back to my childhood eating at roadside diners. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and a blast from past without compromising modern tastes. Really great!
We had a very good lunch at King's Highway. The service was great and the value of the food was very good. Will return!
The food and wait staff was good, no frills but good for a last minute meal.
So damn good!
What a stellar birthday brunch! Loved it.
We had a very nice meal prepared to our liking. Ambiance was good as well as service.
We were there for dine out for life.
Hey diningguy, Thank you for the nice review! We hope to see you again soon! New menu items coming out after Mother's Day! Cheers, Ryan Allen Carrillo Director of Food & Beverage
Very disappointed, as food was very mediocre. Nothing memorable about meal. There are too many better options in Palm Springs.
Loved the 50s vibe! I was taken back to the days when I first started going to Palm Springs!
I wish I had better things to say. I have been a full-time resident in PS for almost six years. Kings Hwy was a regular go-to for a long time (probably weekly if not every other week). About 2+yrs ago, the chef and menu changed. It just hasn’t been the same since. We go back every so often to see if there has been any improvements. Sadly, the answer is no. We miss seeing some of the great staff, sitting in the cool vibe of this establishment, but the food just isn’t up to par. It’ll be another several months, no doubt, before we try once again.
Great food, good service. Especially the service we had at the outside bar.
Hey MichelleD, Thank you for the nice review. We really appreciate it and your feedback. We hope to see you again soon. Warmest regards, Ryan Allen Carrillo Director of Food and Beverage
Same menu as lunchtime, 4 entrees which was reduced to 3 when we told after ordering and drinking red wine that there was no steak.
Great venue though.
Great breakfast spot, always like to visit when in Palm Springs even if we aren’t staying at the Ace
The food we ordered was not we expected and have liked the menu better on other visits. The service was exceptional and the drinks are always fabulous.
food was unexciting at times boring and gross. Basic breakfast should be easy. The ACE Hotel seems like it should have a better quality of food for how popular it is. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again knowing what the restaurant is like. I get that it is a diner but it should be elevated. Tacos came with old lettuce, it was gross and i had to remove. Breakfast burrito only had flavor when i added hot sauce otherwise it tasted like nothing.
I dont normally bad reviews but it was overall disappointing - a hotel with this reputation should care more just saying
We made a reservation (4 adults, 2 kids) and arrived a few minutes late but our table still needed to be set. The hostess asked if we had a reservation and we said yes, but apparently she did not confirm with OpenTable that we had shown up. The service was slow. The restaurant was pretty busy but not packed, but it's a diner so they should be able to handle volume. We had two hungry kids and felt like we waited an eternity for our food. On top of it, the specific dessert we had come for (Banofee pie), although listed on the menu, was out. The atmosphere was good and noisy enough to bring kids, but we just couldn't get over the lack of service.
Great waiter. Tasty food
Food was ok. Service was ok. All-around ok experience
Unfortunately they were out of many menu options due to a busy day but cocktails were delicious and we, and they, made due with menu options. Always a delightful ambiance!
The person at the front desk had no record of our reservation when we showed up. Luckily they had space.
I've dined here before, but this was the worst of the several experiences I've had. They used to have amazing mushroom tacos on the menu, but they've apparently been replaced by mushroom toast. No thanks. I instead had the burger. It was the least impressive burger I've ever had. Truly. I asked for it to come with a side salad. It came out with fries. My dinner companion had a side order of flank steak. The steak was rare in the middle. Thankfully it was removed from the bill without us having to ask for that. However, when our server did ring us out on my card, she had charged another table's bill, which was significantly higher than our bill. Of course she reversed the charge, but it was just sloppy and careless. On top of all that, we waited an extremely long time for our food. Overall, a lackluster experience.
Waited 50 minutes for food. Food is over priced and not very good
Honestly, the food here is confusing. We want to love it but the execution combined with the random choices just didn't work. And the service was mediocre.
We were disappointed - the Fish Tacos were more hard breading than fish and overall dry. We ask for a bit more cabbage slaw to fix the issue resulting with a bowl of dry shredded cabbage plunked down on the table.
Service was apathetic.
Good news: the coffee was great and atmosphere lively.
Fun atmosphere, warm decor , ok service, the food was terrible, a cold hamburger with a side salad which amounted to a handful of box romaine with two radishes. I think the chef needs to pick it up...or management our worse meal in Palm Springs
This is a lovely place that is family friendly. Everyone was very nice and it was a good value for your money.
Fun dinner. Waitress was pretty off-hand.
Have been a few times, love the Ace and nightly activities but the food here is really below average for the area and overpriced. Disappointing.
Unique, fun, delicious! Fresh squeezed OJ and a twist on old faves that made breakfast a little more special.
Fun retro feel. Service and food were outstanding.
We loved King’s Highway. The last time we were there was for a friend’s wedding and now we returned after we had our son who’s 3. I am really impressed that you have kept it in such great condition. I have enjoyed many crazy and fun times here in the past so I’m grateful that I can bring my son and not be a drip to the atmosphere. They brought him crayons and coloring paper - so sweet! Our night was just a quiet winter weekday and there was a good mix of Ace guests, locals and visitors like us. There was a gentleman behind us who said he used to come here as a child when it was another restaurant and how you have kept the nostalgic bones and added advancements and style. What a compliment! Thank you to our waitstaff and kitchen staff. Food was excellent and service was outstanding and cheery. The watermelon drink was the best I’ve ever had anywhere - only at the Ace! Whomever you hire to make your playlists is my hero. Such uplifting combos of cool music from the 50s,60s,70s - they’re timeless upbeat songs. I’m so glad we made time to stop and have dinner here. Thanks King’s Highway and the Ace! (I was not given any incentive to write this review and I’m proud of that!)
Tasty. Tasty. Tasty.
