The food here was the best I had in palm Springs. They know
how to make exquisite dishes with veggies. Highly recommend even if you're not staying at their
This is our favorite brunch in Palm Springs. Our waitress was awesome. Same one both visits. You sit by the pool. Avocado toast is different and delicious. We'll go back next year too.
Neat place, and great vibe, food was good, but there is no reason it should take twenty minutes to be seated (when you have a reservation), another twenty to take our order, and an hour for a grilled cheese to be made. There were approximately five other tables seated around us, so it couldn’t be that the kitchen was overwhelmed. Either way, if you plan on coming here, expect it to take a couple hours.
Fun and yum!
Great food, artistically presented, in a funky atmosphere.
Back at the Ace and King’s Highway for my birthday! Everything was perfect - the staff is super friendly, the drinks are A+, the food is DELICIOUS. They put candles in my dessert and made me feel really special for my birthday. We’ll definitely be back bc we can’t seem to stay away!
There's something magic about sitting in the Palm Springs sun, listening to music, and enjoying the updated diner food at Kings Highway. Like all restaurants, they are a little short staffed at the moment, but our servers did a great job.
Eggs were cold.
A legendary dîner in thé ACE HOTEL, we highly do recommand !!
Food was good. Went for live jazz but there was no band to be seen :(
15 minutes waiting before host spoke to us. Turned out outdoor seating had a completely different entrance so that wait wasn’t even necessary. Service friendly but not particularly competent.
Delicious! A big chilly outside, but heaters help. Lap blankets would be a welcome addition.
We waited more than an hour for our food before we left. Multiple different excuses were given for the delay, but everyone else seated at the restaurant received their food, including those seated after us.
Avocado toast was the way to go!!
Christmas Dinner of four courses, Delicious! Our server Sara was slammed and the restaurant short handed, but you wouldn’t know it. We’re going back for Mew Year’s Eve!
Great place, food was excellent, staff great, they seated us outside even though their outside area was closed. Superb beer list too.
Meh.... I wouldn't go back
Server was very nice and attentive. Food was good, could have been a little hotter. Salad was very fresh. Will go back.
Always love the food, the service and the vibe of King's Highway!
Service was good and food tasty!
Went for the live music and outdoor patio.
Come here for outdoor dining and the pool scene or indoor dining in a retro ambiance. Food is solid, but portion sizes leave a bit to be desired.
Funky, retro, hipster atmosphere when you sit outside by the pool - a collision of today and yesteryear. Food was phenomenal. Get the avocado toast and a date shake.
Love this place! Great for casual dining and good value!
The dinner for thanks giving was very poor, the dinner we had the night before was much better
You’re left with 1 salad option if you’re needing to dine gluten free. Otherwise extremely limited menu. Overall others enjoyed their meals - burger is still good.
Thanksgiving dinner was creative and good; for carnivores there was a turkey roulade, which was excellent, and the vegan offerings were equally creative looking.
The pendant lights made me think "Burger Chef" at first; the building was a Denny's when it was new. The decor includes a lot of macrame, which suits Palm Springs. Service was quick and cheerful, and though it was busy it wasn't loud.
Sadly, the T-Giving Day meal was of very poor quality. I LOVE King's Highway, and Ace Hotel PS, have been eating here since you opened (I'm a longtime local.) So, I was disappointed that the food was lukewarm to cold. Soup was on the cold side. Turkey meal, lukewarm. Green beans cold, half frozen. The dessert, listed as pecan pie, was a tiny pastry shell with only whipped cream, and one pecan on top. Not pie at all, and misleading advertising. This, for $55? More than twice the price of your other food menu items (hamburgers, salads.) I understand during these pandemic times and holiday season, thing are rough for restaurants and retail. But I just want to be honest, I went there for TGiving because of your excellent past reputation, and this was a letdown. The meal was way overpriced, and barely edible, and lacking. Thank you. Please have a good day - this isn't personal, just being honest.
The service was great!! Everyone was so kind and there was a jazz performance that was impeccable! The whole vibe was perfect
Very nice place, food is good and desserts are delicious.
Great ambiance, good drinks, I wish there was more than 1 vegan option
We loved the King’s Highway for dinner. Crew was understaffed but did their best so our meals would arrive in time. Food was excellent and inventive! Setting by the pool was very enjoyable. I would recommend !
Arrived on time for 6:30 reservation.
Was ignored by restaurant staff.
Other diners arrived and were greeted and seated ahead of me and my guests. The dining room was 25% full.
Was finally seated with menus. Waiter came to take our order and advised us the kitchen was backed up and food would take an hour. We decided to leave. Unacceptable.
Delicious brunch meal - had the KH breakfast and the chef cooked the potatoes perfectly. Our table was cleaned before we sat down and we felt safe during the pandemic eating there.
Service was super nice and attentive to our table, this place remains a fave!
Fun atmosphere and good breakfast food. As expected for an old style diner experience
More gluten free options (how about gf bread or buns for hamburgers)! And a dedicated gf frier for French Fries. Thanks So much!
Good food, friendly servers, fun decor. We had a great time at brunch.
Wonderful! Great food and service. Will definitely return.
Loved this restaurant but they've changed chefs and keep taking popular items off the menu. Their coffee was stellar but lately bitter. We're not thrilled with the food at the moment. Service is always excellent.
The Wednesday evening Jazz on the Patio series was great! I hope it continues.
