We’ve been in restaurants a long time – three generations, to be precise – and we love seafood. With seafood there’s so much to be passionate about – the freshness, the flavor, the variety, and the surprise.

To create the ultimate seafood experience, we traveled down the highways and byways. First time trying out this place. Came here for lunch. Ordered the following : Calamari appetizer- good but not great. Over fried. Scallops entree- scallops were good. Sides were too greasy ( Brussels sprouts and asparagus) Clams linguine - it was ok. Good portion and generous with clams The menu says the entree comes with 2 sides. But not clearly stating which side options would be premium therefore will be charged extra $2.75 each. We found out when the bill came. Overall: The outside sitting area was great. Service was good. Food potion was generous. But the taste was ok.

Birthday celebration, party of 4. We made reservations and were seated within 10 mins of arriving. Our server was on point! Friendly, quick, always had full drink, checked on us without being a bother. Sorry I don’t remember her name. All of our meals were hot and very good. We had the Ciopinno, the Sea Bass, Fillet Mignon, King Crab legs, Rainbow sushi, and grilled artichoke for appetizers.

Wonderful and tasteful meal for us and two toddlers. I only graded the ambience a little low because the person directing the surrounding traffic used his whistle loud and consistently during the hour and a half we were seated- it was a Saturday so lot’s of traffic of course.

food was overpriced, small portions, overcooked vegetables, fish didn’t taste good, server did not refill our drinks. We appreciated the complimentary dessert for our anniversary but unfortunately, we will not be returning.

A beautiful day to be in the outdoor area. The service was pretty good, but the food was very nice. Lobster sushi, and shrimp and scallops were delicious as was the Caesar salad and octopus appetizers.

Was charged for a chowder I didn’t receive, I communicated it to the waiter that I didn’t want to be charged because I didn’t receive it she apologized and insisted I still receive it and I declined… got my bill and paid, when I got home to review the itemized bill LOW AND BEHOLD the soup was on the bill. Unfortunately I should’ve triple checked on something I double checked with waitress already about but the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately the food was not that flavorful either the best thing I had was my beer.

There were 4 adults, 1 toddler and a baby in our group to celebrate my birthday as noted in the reservation. They sat us near the restrooms. We asked to be seated on the patio therefore our toddler can get in/out easily without disturbing other customers. They did not accommodate our request although there were many tables available. We settled next to the restrooms instead. Our it took so long for our drinks to come. Some food came first. Our toddle did not get his food until the adults were finished. They forgot to bring it out and they had to make a new one. They need to prioritize the kids meal to make the adults happier. Happy kids=Happy parents. We had a raw seafood platter, I had to crack open the crabs with my hands as they forgot to bring crab crackers. It was too late they they found out. They missed bringing bread and butter in the beginning. We had to ask for it at the end. I pretty much directed them the whole entire time. It was disappointing. The service was below the bar.

Shrimp Louie salad was very unique. All the ingredients are separate on the plate. All tasted good but different having to put them together. Salmon salad was good. Key lime pie was great. A little tart but I like it that way. I like the atmosphere of this restaurant. Nautical and open. Service was good.

We were seated "outside". The ambiance was very nice. It reminded us of a favorite restaurant in Maui (minus the view of the beach and ocean). The petrale sole was very good. The linguini with clams was tasty, but had way too much olive oil. The shrimp tacquitos were tasty, but used frozen shrimp that was overcooked. We split a wedge salad. It was very good. Crisp lettuce, good blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, and thick chunks of bacon. And large (it was a good thing we decided to split it). Service was friendly and helpful, but not very attentive / timely. We plan to give King's Fish House a second chance and try different entrees next time.

Food was okay, nothing sticks out as extraordinary. But service to this restaurant is subpar. Orders take along time to get out and waitstaff don’t check up on you for refills, etc. I would go someplace else, trust me on this. My expectations are not very high but for this place, you can find better options. This is a one time place to go to.

Expected more quality from a fish house. Ordered the eastern Scallops dish and they were bits of scallops literally, not whole pieces that measured less then button mushroom sizes. The crispy sushi looked liked a narrow tater tot with folded tuna on it. Had to ask for wasabi. Bread was good to start, drinks nothing special. Service was fine but overall disappointing.

The worst hostess… didn’t care to look or have eye contact. We had reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes for a table when there were plenty of tables available. Service and food have diminished. They have lost our business as this the not the first time we’ve experienced poor service. The food is not good enough for us to put up with a bad hostess or waiter forgetting to bring silverware when we need it. There’s plenty of other great restaurants nearby.

Our waiter got one of our orders wrong, and it took a while for them to bring the correct item. Everyone was long past done eating when the food finally arrived. We’ll be back, hoping it was just a fluke.

The raw bar had so many options and it was all so fresh. Whatever oysters our waiter recommended were so good. My husband said the New England clam chowder was the best he’s ever eaten. I had the miso sea bass and it was spectacular. I would definitely go back there even though it’s a bit of a drive. You can’t find seafood like this in the east bay

From start to finish our experience was great! Edgar, our server, was super friendly and knowledgeable explaining us the long menu. He made great suggestions for drinks and food, which we enjoyed at 100% This was my husband and I second time at King’s Fish but first one for the others in our party. They Loved it! Definitely will be coming back.

We have been here many times since it opened a few years back . We had a bit of a snafu , but the General Manager, Lindsay Amom , totally jumped in and took care of us . Very appreciative. We will continue to go back , it’s a winner .

From the outside, this restaurant has a lot going for it. Good location, nice interior, good music, and a great patio. Service was fantastic as were the drinks. However, the food left a lot to be desired. First, we ordered an appetizer. The appetizer ran very late getting to our table resulting in an apology from the manager. Not a big deal. I ordered scallops and my husband ordered sea bass, both more expensive entrees. Both were overcooked. In fact a couple of scallops were so overdone they weren’t edible - it was like chewing a rubber band. The baked potato side was also overcooked and so hard I couldn’t even cut the skin. For the price, I wouldn’t return here. While the location is great, a trip to Red Lobster would result in better value for money and food that’s as good if not better.

The customer service wasn’t that great. Not only no smiling. The waiter was passing the food to me instead of putting on the table. He only had one dish on his hand. He even forgot to give water plastic cup for my toddler. Good food though.

We have eaten here many-many times since it first opened. We have never had issues with the food, but the service end of it has gone down hill. It was just two of us last night and three items were brought out wrong. We gave him our full order up front and almost all the food showed up at the same time. Maybe, I didn’t communicate that correctly, but spacing out your meal is always appreciated. We are incredibly patient and will continue to eat here, but more effective communication from the get go

This was our first time to dine here. Our experience was nice but it could’ve been so much better from to beginning. The food was delicious, our server was good and she gave great entrée recommendations. I would’ve rated our experience a 5 but the person who seated us seemed as if she didn’t want to be there. She wasn’t friendly and didn’t smile at all when she walked us to our table. A friendly and welcoming experience was what I was expecting when we walked in the restaurant and I didn’t get that. Please improve your employees welcoming the guests and we will have a more enjoyable experience from the beginning. Nonetheless, our food was delicious and drinks were tasty!!

We've eaten at King's Fish House many times and always enjoy the meal. We highly recommend it to our family and friends. The blackened mahi mahi was succulent, cooked to perfection. The northwest veggies were tasty and the sauteed corn was sweet and delicious. Another wonderful meal at King's!

I have been to King's Fish house in the past and it has always been very good food. This last time we got calamari for appetizer it was very bland and chewy. My garlic mashed potatoes were very salty, the corn had corn husk strings in it. My sea bass was delicious. Just don't think this meal was worth the $42.00. My husband had fried shrimp and they were not tasty at all. I was very disappointed in the food quality this time around.
