I celebrated my 29th birthday here on Juky 14th and my group and I had a good time. My cake was accommodated and food was great. Our lane kept messing up but other than that I had a great time and look forward to coming back.
I wouldn't go there again. The place itself was nice but the food was subpar.
The food was terrible.
The food & drink menu seems sort of limited but we found plenty to eat. Service in the restaurant was decent to good but the bar staff (bowling area bar) was uninterested in acknowledging us, unfriendly to us and never followed up after giving 2/3 of us our drinks. I even saw the wait staff waving arms trying to flag them down to get drinks, they didn’t seem like they wanted to help them either. The bar was not busy so there should have not been a reason for that treatment. My friends didn’t leave a tip, it was that bad & we always tip well. I feel terrible because last experiences there have been good.
Ambience was very fun, especially going over to bowl after dining. Service wasn’t bad, food was not that good.
We were originally waited on fairly quickly, so that was good. The appetizers, drinks, and salad were also served fairly quickly. Unfortunately, silverware and napkins were not provided, and we had to wait at least ten minutes before the server was available for us to ask for them. Then another ten minutes. Our food came out just a couple of minutes after we had finally started eating the salad and appetizers. Soon after we start started eating the entrees, the kids wanted ketchup, but it was 10 - 15 minutes before we could connect with our server. 10 more minutes to get the ketchup. I ordered the house salad with ranch. Good salad, but got blue cheese. Because of all the waiting I did not ask for the ranch dressing. I also got the Cajun fries which were very good, but the sour cream based dip was just ok. I also got the Texas burger which I thought was going to be a barbecue type sandwich and would have been much better with barbecue sauce. The sandwich was just ok, and because of the waiting experience, I was not going to ask for the sauce. I think that the wait staff is more concerned about their trendy appearance (hair, tattoos, piercings and clothing) than actually doing there jobs as servers. Our server clearly did not have the personality or energy needed for this type of work.
Exceptional customer service!!!!
We asked to be seated somewhere without a wind coming through the door and they only were able to move us one table over still next to the door with wind.
We went bowling and the waiter did not check on us for drinks at all. We had to go to the bar every single time we wanted something to drink. Not the best experience. My family and I do not plan on going back if we ever visit IL ( ROSEMONT LOCATION).
They forgot about us for like 20 minutes. The food was below standards. The young waitress didn’t know the menu at all. The pitcher of sangria was the only thing that was good.
Usually have a great time but the service this time was terrible. Waited forever for our food and could barely get a refill on drinks. Restaurant wasn't even busy so I can't explain the terrible service. I still love King's and will come back but this visit was pretty bad
Love how the Menu is always improving and the service is great. Appreciate the staff in the bar area by the TVs
The whole entire experience was great. The moment we walked in to the time we walked out, all around one of the best places I’ve been too! Our waiter in the restaurant was great and Michael, our waiter in the lanes, was fantastic! He made sure we were doing okay, he kept asking if we wanted anything else! He was attentive and awesome. Please give him a raise or something :)! Thanks Kings for an amazing night, one that will go down in the books! We definitely will be back!
Love what they have done with the restaurant area!
Great vegetarian options!
Food took forever to get and Sangria was more of a pink lemonade than a real sangria
I would recommend this place for bowling and drinks. Went for a celebratory dinner and the food was just alright. I wouldn't go for food but for drinks.
Well, I was originally excited about going to this place because the interior looks pretty cool and bowling sounded fun. I made a reservation for dine and bowl by following the link on their website. When I got to the venue however, they said I needed to call for dine and bowl, which now, going back to the website, you have to read some long paragraph that makes it sound like they will call you UNTIL YOU GET TO THE VERY LAST SENTENCE.
Regardless, once we got there, I waited at least 5 minutes for the host to show up, complained about there not being any bowling available and he pretty much acted like he didn't care. Finally got us a table, but service was ludicrously slow and the place wasn't all that busy. Food was just mediocre, and the margaritas were waaayyy watered down. For $12.99 each, that's absurd.
Will definitely not be going back here unless management was going to comp a dine and bowl experience for me to try again. Otherwise, colossal waste of money for all the other options in the city.
Great place however we were paying customers and could only play 2 games of bowling because of the waiting list..well we were able to get to this establishment early enough to play and should have been able to play as long as we wished..otherwise great place
Great place to dine if you like cold, tasteless food and nasty drinks. They serve great ice water.
Buffalo wings were dry, wished the pizza was crunchy and wished the sausage wasn’t crumbled.
Best thing about this place was the watress helping our table it's not a place i would visit on a special holiday like Easter they are not ready or have thing set up for holidays it's nice for bowling n hang out with friends not a family place
Everyone that works at this establishment is so nice! Service was terrific, food portions were big. Great alcohol selection. Definitely recommend!
Great place to relax, watch a game on one of their 3 giant screens (not to mention scattered tv's throughout the perimeter, and enjoy really good food with a great mixed menu. Their margaritas weren't like so many these days that are watered down...these were spot on delicious and just the right kick!
My friends and I enjoyed the atmosphere it was a fun outing.
Unremarkable. Dinner Service was just okay, food was fine not great. Fun environment, waiter in the bowling alley was attentive and did a great job.
We waited almost an hour for our food, and our appetizer came after our meal. The waitress was great- attentive and apologetic. It sounded like an issue with the kitchen.
Big TVs were great for watching a key game.. But the food and service weren't too great.
Food was pretty good for the price. However, the drinks were extremely watered down, not very good. My sister ordered a Mojito and I ordered a Moscow Mule, both were made incorrectly. Best to order a beer, if you're going to drink. Or something straight. Outside of that, the waiststaff was very friendly and helpful. The bowling lanes are nice.
Slow service and got order wrong and had to get other server to help when, ask for something it for ever to get it or got it when dinner was done
Took a group of 13 year olds early evening. Food was great, good portion size. Our waitor was nice. I think they could use more staff, a little slow with service.
The service was terrible and so was the food !
Claimed they had a great beer menu and they did not !
Not a good idea if your on a time crunch to buy dinner & bowling package. Timing is wrong
Food, service and drinks were great!
CHASTITY our server was awesome!
This was my worst dining experience in Rosemont. We waited over an hour just for appetizers.
I had ordered the four cheese pasta with grilled chicken, and spinach (I asked the waiter to hold the tomatoes,) the food came out, my pasta had two spinach leaves in it, and the drinks were subpar at best. When I placed my reservation I had requested the Dine and Play deal, after eating my date and I anxiously awaited our bowling lane to open. After waiting half an hour (after having paid the bill,) I waved down our waiter and asked him how much longer we had to wait for our lane, after disappearing for five minutes he came back and informed us that it would be another half an hour to an hour wait time. We ended up leaving disappointed that we didn’t get a chance to bowl. Why is it that our tables were reserved but we can’t reserve our bowling Lane? It’s utterly ridiculous to ask your patrons to wait even longer than they already have.
Great night out with drinks and bowling!
Four of us met to go bowling and decided to have lunch, too. The food was a nice surprise. We ordered 4 different things and everyone was very happy and cleaned their plates. Everything was great! Every beer I chose was out of stock but our waitress then brought me samples of other beers to try which helped me to find something else. Waitress was patient, friendly, sharp, and attentive. Another bright spot in the afternoon.
The front hostess desk, which seemed to be manned with 3 young women, seemed to be off in space. We were given a buzzer/pager at the end of our meal and told it would go off when they had an available lane. After sitting for a long time, we finally got up, checked the bowling alley ourselves, and found that several lanes were open. According to the bowling desk, the hostess desk was supposed to let them know when we had paid our bill which they never did.
As we went to leave, I saw a sign by the door that offered a free game of bowing with brunch up until 3 pm. and I had remembered seeing this on the website as well. (We seat down to eat at 1:30). I asked the hostess desk why we didn't get a free game of bowling. One of them responded by asking if we had brunch. I told her that we were only given one menu which we all ordered from. We all agreed that we would've preferred brunch fare. Have no idea why that menu wasn't passed out. Anyway, we went back to the bowling desk and they credited each of us for 1 of our 2 games plus the shoes. The girls at the bowling desk seemed to have their act together.
Anyway, we will definitely go back. It was a great meal and the bowling was fun. We'll just know that we need to be on the ball.
Rebecca at the front was amazing at accommodating unexpected guest in our party. Thank you! Our server was amazing as well!
Not happy with the dinning service. Me and my guess sat in the Draft section and the server didn't bother with us what's so ever. We where trying to check out it took 40 minutes for that to happen. I've been here before. And the services was great. Just this time it was very poor
Everything was fantastic food and drink wise, however we did pick this venue so we could bowl after dinner. What we didn’t know is that we needed to get on the wait list when we got there. When it was time to bowl they told us it was a 3-4 hour wait. Thankfully we are roll with it people and found more fun next door at the Irish bar!
