Usually have a great time but the service this time was terrible. Waited forever for our food and could barely get a refill on drinks. Restaurant wasn't even busy so I can't explain the terrible service. I still love King's and will come back but this visit was pretty bad
Love how the Menu is always improving and the service is great. Appreciate the staff in the bar area by the TVs
The whole entire experience was great. The moment we walked in to the time we walked out, all around one of the best places I’ve been too! Our waiter in the restaurant was great and Michael, our waiter in the lanes, was fantastic! He made sure we were doing okay, he kept asking if we wanted anything else! He was attentive and awesome. Please give him a raise or something :)! Thanks Kings for an amazing night, one that will go down in the books! We definitely will be back!
Love what they have done with the restaurant area!
Great vegetarian options!
Food took forever to get and Sangria was more of a pink lemonade than a real sangria
I would recommend this place for bowling and drinks. Went for a celebratory dinner and the food was just alright. I wouldn't go for food but for drinks.
Well, I was originally excited about going to this place because the interior looks pretty cool and bowling sounded fun. I made a reservation for dine and bowl by following the link on their website. When I got to the venue however, they said I needed to call for dine and bowl, which now, going back to the website, you have to read some long paragraph that makes it sound like they will call you UNTIL YOU GET TO THE VERY LAST SENTENCE.
Regardless, once we got there, I waited at least 5 minutes for the host to show up, complained about there not being any bowling available and he pretty much acted like he didn't care. Finally got us a table, but service was ludicrously slow and the place wasn't all that busy. Food was just mediocre, and the margaritas were waaayyy watered down. For $12.99 each, that's absurd.
Will definitely not be going back here unless management was going to comp a dine and bowl experience for me to try again. Otherwise, colossal waste of money for all the other options in the city.
Great place however we were paying customers and could only play 2 games of bowling because of the waiting list..well we were able to get to this establishment early enough to play and should have been able to play as long as we wished..otherwise great place
Great place to dine if you like cold, tasteless food and nasty drinks. They serve great ice water.
Buffalo wings were dry, wished the pizza was crunchy and wished the sausage wasn’t crumbled.
Best thing about this place was the watress helping our table it's not a place i would visit on a special holiday like Easter they are not ready or have thing set up for holidays it's nice for bowling n hang out with friends not a family place
Everyone that works at this establishment is so nice! Service was terrific, food portions were big. Great alcohol selection. Definitely recommend!
Great place to relax, watch a game on one of their 3 giant screens (not to mention scattered tv's throughout the perimeter, and enjoy really good food with a great mixed menu. Their margaritas weren't like so many these days that are watered down...these were spot on delicious and just the right kick!
My friends and I enjoyed the atmosphere it was a fun outing.
Unremarkable. Dinner Service was just okay, food was fine not great. Fun environment, waiter in the bowling alley was attentive and did a great job.
We waited almost an hour for our food, and our appetizer came after our meal. The waitress was great- attentive and apologetic. It sounded like an issue with the kitchen.
Big TVs were great for watching a key game.. But the food and service weren't too great.
Food was pretty good for the price. However, the drinks were extremely watered down, not very good. My sister ordered a Mojito and I ordered a Moscow Mule, both were made incorrectly. Best to order a beer, if you're going to drink. Or something straight. Outside of that, the waiststaff was very friendly and helpful. The bowling lanes are nice.
Slow service and got order wrong and had to get other server to help when, ask for something it for ever to get it or got it when dinner was done
Took a group of 13 year olds early evening. Food was great, good portion size. Our waitor was nice. I think they could use more staff, a little slow with service.
The service was terrible and so was the food !
Claimed they had a great beer menu and they did not !
Not a good idea if your on a time crunch to buy dinner & bowling package. Timing is wrong
Food, service and drinks were great!
CHASTITY our server was awesome!
This was my worst dining experience in Rosemont. We waited over an hour just for appetizers.
I had ordered the four cheese pasta with grilled chicken, and spinach (I asked the waiter to hold the tomatoes,) the food came out, my pasta had two spinach leaves in it, and the drinks were subpar at best. When I placed my reservation I had requested the Dine and Play deal, after eating my date and I anxiously awaited our bowling lane to open. After waiting half an hour (after having paid the bill,) I waved down our waiter and asked him how much longer we had to wait for our lane, after disappearing for five minutes he came back and informed us that it would be another half an hour to an hour wait time. We ended up leaving disappointed that we didn’t get a chance to bowl. Why is it that our tables were reserved but we can’t reserve our bowling Lane? It’s utterly ridiculous to ask your patrons to wait even longer than they already have.
Four of us met to go bowling and decided to have lunch, too. The food was a nice surprise. We ordered 4 different things and everyone was very happy and cleaned their plates. Everything was great! Every beer I chose was out of stock but our waitress then brought me samples of other beers to try which helped me to find something else. Waitress was patient, friendly, sharp, and attentive. Another bright spot in the afternoon.
The front hostess desk, which seemed to be manned with 3 young women, seemed to be off in space. We were given a buzzer/pager at the end of our meal and told it would go off when they had an available lane. After sitting for a long time, we finally got up, checked the bowling alley ourselves, and found that several lanes were open. According to the bowling desk, the hostess desk was supposed to let them know when we had paid our bill which they never did.
As we went to leave, I saw a sign by the door that offered a free game of bowing with brunch up until 3 pm. and I had remembered seeing this on the website as well. (We seat down to eat at 1:30). I asked the hostess desk why we didn't get a free game of bowling. One of them responded by asking if we had brunch. I told her that we were only given one menu which we all ordered from. We all agreed that we would've preferred brunch fare. Have no idea why that menu wasn't passed out. Anyway, we went back to the bowling desk and they credited each of us for 1 of our 2 games plus the shoes. The girls at the bowling desk seemed to have their act together.
Anyway, we will definitely go back. It was a great meal and the bowling was fun. We'll just know that we need to be on the ball.
Rebecca at the front was amazing at accommodating unexpected guest in our party. Thank you! Our server was amazing as well!
Not happy with the dinning service. Me and my guess sat in the Draft section and the server didn't bother with us what's so ever. We where trying to check out it took 40 minutes for that to happen. I've been here before. And the services was great. Just this time it was very poor
Everything was fantastic food and drink wise, however we did pick this venue so we could bowl after dinner. What we didn’t know is that we needed to get on the wait list when we got there. When it was time to bowl they told us it was a 3-4 hour wait. Thankfully we are roll with it people and found more fun next door at the Irish bar!
Disappointed in the bowling. We were informed ahead of time that lanes would not be open until approx. 9:30pm due to a corporate event. However, when we did get our lane we received the smallest seating for 6 people (land 15) as we watched 2 groups of 2 come and go next to us (lane 16). In addition we complained to our server Mark two times that the pins were not staying upright after the machine set them, with no response or apology or anything. I spent over $320(food, drinks, bowling) in your establishment for a group of 6 - and was brushed off about the issue with the lane.
Second time going to Kings, it was great. The only thing that concerns me is twice the dishes and glasses were not fully cleaned.
Following the not very nice trend to itemize every plate, the burger was just the burger. And to be honest m, for $10 I expected I larger burger than McDonals size. What happened to “served with:” ? The Oreo sundae had les than 1 Oreo crumbled and drowned in the vanilla ice cream. Not great food for the money but nice looking place. The servers were adorable though!
The giant screens are excellent for watching sports and the service was excellent. But, I would never return because the food, drink, and bowling are outrageously expensive. Bowling is $9/game per person!!! Food taste and quality are very average.
The afternoon started out very smoothly, check in and getting seated were very quick.
Our waitress was very good and attentive. In my opinion the kitchen was extremely slow and whoever was running the back of the house did a horrible job. Our initial food order came out quickly but was incorrect. We waited 20 minutes for the correct food to come out. This was very disappointing as some of us were already done eating and others were just being served.
The bowling part of our evening was a disaster. The individuals running the front desk had no clue on how to process a gift card or properly sign lanes for our group. What should’ve been a few minute process took close to 40 minutes before we began to bowl.
To summarize, a reservation for dining was at 1 PM to be immediately followed by bowling at 2:30 PM. We arrived early and receded by 12:45 PM our group did not finish eating until 3 PM and bowling did not start until 3:50 PM
Do not get the classic burgers they are very small. My husband has to order a additional appetizer after his meal because he was still hungry.
Very overpriced - you get more food with similar quality at a chain restaurant
Servers were pleasant but took over 10 minutes to have someone stop by our table after we were first seated
Horrible experience with the Service. Waited over an hour for food, server never came by to check on us. We needed to flag the manager to ask for status on two of our 8 dinners, because only 6 came out after our long wait. Water was never filled and the food was over priced for small portions.
Had a fantastic time! Staff was nice and helpful. Waitress kept us all satisfied.
It was an awesome experience I really enjoyed the FISH DRINK.
