The Kings Court Hotel, a charming inn just outside of Stratford-upon-Avon, in the beautiful surroundings of Shakespeare country, provides elegant restaurant dining with a country casual feel. Two dining rooms – The Lantern Room and The Garden Room - each provide their own particular look and feel, yet both are elegantly styled with timeless, classic décor, plenty of table space and soft, romantic lighting. The exclusive a la carte menu here at Kings Court is available in both rooms, the finest locally sourced produce used throughout the modern European dishes with their touch of French sophistication and twist of creativity. Traditional British food takes over on Sundays with an excellent roast dinner served both afternoon and evening, while other afternoon sittings offer an affordable smorgasbord buffet. Friendly but professional, service is of the very highest order, the well turned out Kings Court staff providing the finishing touch to an afternoon or evening.

    Hotel had not received the booking and said they didn’t use OpenTable!!! Despite this they prepared a table and provided excellent service.

    Kings Court has been beautifully refurbished. We moved from the restauarant into the bar area as it was too noisy. Otherwise everything was good.

    We enjoyed a tasty, well-presented traditional Sunday lunch. On a hot day the restaurant was light and airy. Service was efficient and friendly.

    The dining area at the back by the fire place was nice but we had to find it ourselves. Disappointing menu; almost everything except the fish and chips and duck had pork and 3 specials on board were all Pork dishes so great restaurant for pork lovers!! I am afraid we weren't very impressed with the food but service was friendly.

    I can sum it up in a lot less than 50 letters - top of the show (12) the greatest (11) fantastic(9) In fact. A1 is just about right. The whole place is very relaxing, wonderful staff who can't do enough for you, smashing rooms , very comfortable. The meals are a good size and the 'help your selves' bars at breakfast and lunch are so inviting, we stopped longer just so we could chose all over again. Yummy. Now we are going back, just so we can do it again Yummy yummy Get the idea - we love everything about it.

    Although the staff were very pleasant, the service was poor due to under -staffing. Once seated we waited 30 minutes to order.

    Unfortunately we had booked a table on a night when there was a wedding and they did not seem to have enough staff working. Having to wait a long time for the staff to take our order and then serve our drinks spoilt the evening.

    As ever the food was plentiful and wholesome - for a lunchtime set menu. The restaurant staff were exceedingly polite and helpful, especially welcome as we had a frail, elderly relative with us.
