Kings Biergarten & Restaurant
King’s Biergarten and Restaurant serves German comfort food. Founder and owner Hans Sitter turned an old computer shop into a quaint neighborhood establishment popular with tourists and locals. Its wide menu has options for kids and adults all at affordable prices.
Try one of its many German appetizers, like its Liptauer spread, schnitzel fingers, Bavarian pickles or its schmatz sampler. King’s Biergarten has a wide array of schnitzel and bratwursts and guests have the option of creating their own plates. There are Viennese specialties, like its smoked pork loin, crispy pork shank and its goulash. The bar menu features many different kinds of German beer and a variety of signature cocktails. Featured widely in the local press, King’s Biergarten has food and fun for everyone. Gluten free options available.
Our party of 8 was quickly seated, served drinks and our order taken. We had a diverse selection of their offerings and everyone was pleased with their meal. Parking is ample and they have outside seating options. Will bring friends back again.
Amazing as always!
Celebrating two Birthdays but no birthday dessert or song given... kind of sad. Steak night was good.
We love coming here for a delicious meal with excellent service! We are never disappointed!
I live in South Houston and drive to Humble for steak night at a place I love, but I truly found a place that tops it. Food was great, service was awesome, and the beer was the icing on the cake. I'll defiantly go back....
My wife and I ate there 10/21/2020, 'steak night'. I realize Hans is trying to present a party like atmosphere so we struggled through the noise. The food, drink and service was excellent. I won't hesitate to go back for another steak night or any time I want good food.
Our service was terrible and the food was mixed up and cold.
Went for my birthday and had a blast listening to the band snd having delicious food and drinks
Great place. Only negative is three of our party ordered same dish. Wide variation in quan and size of items on plate. Mine like a lunch portion, others normal. Tasted good however.
Kings Biergarten is a great place to enjoy quality beer and german food. The atmosphere is great, there was an awesome live band. Staff is attentive and friendly.
We enjoy this restaurant, but boy was it a risk tonight. Really disappointed to see many (not all) staff wearing masks on their chins or below their noses. The restaurant was packed to full capacity and many customers were walking around without a mask. Additionally, in the beginning when our hostess led us to our table it was clear it had not been cleaned. The hosted scrubbed at some residue with her finger before getting some cleaning solution. Again, we love this place: extremely disappointed with tonight’s reservation.
Nope don’t feel like it. Funny thing is I don’t know what to say about this place.
Incredible restraunt. This was my first trip here and it was outstanding!
Been going to Kings for years and from the first time to this last time we have never been disappointed.
Food and service was great, and if you’re looking for something to break the monotony of your regular every day food, King’s Biergarten is a good place to go.
Food was not as good as our only other time which was great which is why we went back for this second time. Food was over cook maybe? But by far not as delicious. It was cold in the bar area which made it uncomfortable so we left earlier than we wanted.
My food and cocktails were great! My friends had trouble choosing beers that were actually available.
I was able to make a reservation for a time the restaurant is not open. Need to update your system.
I have only eaten here a couple times and wasn’t aware Kings is not open for lunch weekdays. I had family from 3 different locations out of town meeting at the restaurant for lunch. My uncle was happy for the mistake - he truly enjoyed Floyd’s!
The owners put this place on auto-pilot a long time ago. It’s filthy and should be on Restaurant Impossible. Our server tried her best and was a bright spot. Been here many times for the fun atmosphere, but sadly must move on.
Our first visit and we had a great experience. Fun family outing of 9 of us. Food and service was wonderful. Thanks
Awesome as always.
First time visit so did not know the "drill". Will return at a later date for sure!
AFTER making reservations online and receiving confirmation, we show up as a family of 5. We drove from over 1 hour away, show up with "hostesses" sitting around a table. We tell them we have reservations and they tell us they are not accepting reservations because of Octoberfest. We knew nothing about this. I state we drove over 1 hour and you are not going to seat us? They rudely say well we will let you this time. They point to the back and say grab a table. We walk back and there are several tables available. Service was poor, checked on us once, meals are overpriced for amount of food but at least tastes good I would have gone back but because service was terrible as well as front area we won't be back. Too bad as we are always looking for good German food
It seems like this is happening on a regular bases: the bier is always warm or flat. If this can be fixed, I would give a 5 star.
Very good selection of beers. German food was great. Waitstaff seemed to be very much in sync. Coffee was surprisingly very good also!
Great food and fun ambiance! Planning to come back with a large group to enjoy the outside eating area!
Celebrated 3 birthdays, great service as usual!
While we largely come for the beer - we get so much more! It's always a friendly atmosphere, fun, entertaining, and great food to boot! What's not to like - and enjoy! Party on!
Go to King's for a good time, good food & entertainment.
Food and the bartender were great. The hostess ummm not so much. She actually seemed like she was put out to seat us and wasn’t friendly at all. So sad to be greeted that way but the bartender made up for it.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I will definitely return to try more dishes. The Rueben was amazing and the Greek salad was refreshing. Service was well-timed and friendly, beers were affordable."
Went for wurst fest. Very good menu. Everyone loved the food and ambiance.
I enjoyed the authentic food. The selection of German beers as well as the singing and dancing on the patio. Sit in the patio area to get the full experience!
IT WAS GREAT WITH MY WIFE AND FAMILY AT YOUR PLACE GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS
Had a great time celebrated a birthday party. Great customer service.
We always loved King’s, but it is not what it used to be. Service was terrible!!! If I had not ordered appetizers our guests would have starved before orders came out! When orders finally did come out, two were missing entirely!
Excellent and authentic Austro-German cuisine, all freshly made in Haus, including the yummy sausages (of many varieties). The Wiener Schnitzel and Goulash in particular stand out. Large selection of Bier, on tap—natürlich!
Very inexperienced server, totally unfamiliar with the menu; we asked for schlag (whipped cream) on our strudel and he had the kitchen put it in my wife's coffee. The spaetzle were dried out, red cabbage off flavor; schnitzel was good as usual.
My birthday dinner with friends and my immediate family. The kids loved the theme of the place. The menu had something for anyone, even the folks with the most boring of taste buds.
We left with smiles and happy bellies. It was a great evening.
King's was fantastic! Best German food I've ever had in the States. Imported German beer on tap, perfect Schnitzel with mushroom-cream Jager sauce, top-notch Kasewurst, and traditional red cabbage. they also have exotic and vegetarian sausage options.
Live music on the patio is fantastic. It's loud near the band but relatively quiet inside. The ownership is really invested in this place, and in the guest experience; each table is greeted personally by the owner or his wife.
They didn't have Weißwurst when I visited (hope they bring it back!) and the pretzels are more American style than Bavarian. But on the whole, it was a great experience.
