We booked our table via the open table app and arrived at the Kings Arms to find it closed! In fact it’s closed down! Why it’s not been removed from this app is beyond me !

We booked a table for Sunday lunch and then , when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed with a note on the door saying ‘ closed’ . There was no coordination between the restaurant and Open Table leaving us without a lunch.

I think you’re having a joke. We turned up and the place had been closed for months. If a very kind publican nearby had not squeezed us in it would have wrecked our evening. I suggest you do a bit more research on the places you deal with. Supremely unimpressed.

We had an email confirmation of our table booking , made earlier in the morning. We arrived 10 minutes before our table booking - the car park was empty, the door from the car park into into the pub was padlocked. What is wrong with you?

This establishment was closed, bolt and padlock on door and paper notice saying closed due to technical problems. looked closed long term.

Be aware that this place is currently closed. But Open Table and Expedia unaware and taking bookings.

Excellent meal in a lovely restaurant, with great service but perhaps slightly spoilt by not enough gravy on main meal and very small amount of custard with desert, even after asking for more we still did not have enough.

We came to the Kings Arms in mid November last year and it was an average event. This time…. Well what a difference this time, new staff ⭐️ new menu⭐️ new Chief ⭐️⭐️ absolutely brilliant. A table for 9, a baby, 2 Toddlers a 11 year old princess! And 5 Adults. Ordering was straightforward. No long waits, food came hot and on hot plates, quantities were very good… but by far the taste of the roast dinners were outstanding, the waiting staff Dom, Josh and the lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) were fantastic could not do enough for a challenging table, passed with flying colours. We will be back. Well done folks. Thank you. Mark. Bath.
