   First two courses fine. The desert menu was brought to our table but no one came to take an order so we left without a desert. There didn't appear to be enough waiting staff or bar staff working.

   We had an excellent experience. The staff were top notch. Very attentive and friendly atmosphere. The pub itself is a very attractive building with large wooden beams throughout. The background music was also spot on. Heard songs not heard for absolute ages. The food was really spot. Good sized portions and very very tasty. The King William IV really is a brilliant pub. If you are looking to dine out in Bedfordshire this really is a must.

   Nice evening spent with friends ,food was good and staff friendly. Will visit again without hesitation.

   Despite it being a typical busy night and the night before Valentine's. Our meals were served on time and piping hot as were the plates. A good selection of meals and plentiful. Been before and would go again. Thank you.

   Sorry to say we had a long wait for our meal (45mins) with the explanation that we had not pre ordered so were behind the groups that had, which was clearly not acceptable. We then had to rush the meal so could not really enjoy it and had no time for a pud. Why take the booking if you cannot met the demand? Felt embarrassed for the waiter/waitress.

   Staff are lovely, food was amazing!! Wasnt too expensive!!! Atmosphere was enjoyable!

   Food was good..... Once we got it! Service was VERY slow, even though we were one of two tables in the whole restaurant. Staff were nice enough, just not very present throughout our visit It didn't feel particularly clean.... Sticky table and carpet. I won't be rushing back, but would maybe go in if passing and desperate.

   Had lunch with my partner and 1 year old. Staff were attentive, without being intrusive, friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere. My partner is still raving about the pie of the day - Steak, Ale and Cheddar. We will be back

    We booked for dinner on a Saturday valentines day and were welcomed as soon as we arrived. The ambience is lovely, an old fashioned pub and the menu is extensive. The prices seemed a little high for the size of the meals and we did wonder if that was the effect of valentines day. Service was reasonably brisk on a fairly busy evening and good. Just a thought that the smoke from the lava rock meals is rather overpowering...we sat next to a table that had three served and nearly needed gas masks! Would recommend.
