Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was excellent. Food was good but portions were small for the price.
Very disappointing lunch menu. Advertised as seafood fare with limited selections. Had to go to another restaurant to satisfy appetite. Left hungry & paid. $100 for lunch! Seriously.
Restaurant was beautiful inside and had a lovely view of the water, ambiance was lovely. Food was nice a bit overpriced for portion sizes and drinks were very small pours so that was disappointing. Overall it’s worth a visit maybe if the drinks could be a bit more substantial it would certainly help !!
Our waiter was spot on. He was extremely friendly, professional and made our night. Excellent food and priced well.
I ordered the DRY AGED RIBEYE with Chorizo-potato gratin, braising greens, crispy onion, achiote glaze. $38, the most expensive item that I saw on the menu. I love my meat. I ordered it Medium Rare. It came medium at best. The taste was ok. I've tasted the same at sizzler. The gratin was basicly fried mashed potatoes and tasted as much. Mine came with asparagus and no crispy onion. Very disappointing for the price.
My wife and daughter has the STEAK FRITES Flat iron, herbed frites, chimichurri, béarnaise. Daughter was picky so I'm not going to report on hers, my wife enjoyed her but did not think it was worth it.
This is great place for a special occasion. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food is great. Excellent Wine selection. The view on the waterfront is fantastic.
The poké presentation was not very good. The seared tuna dish was beautiful. Both dishes lacked depth of flavor especially for the price. The service was average not bad at all.
Brunch on the patio during the outdoor dining season in Portland is delightful.
Tasty, generous brunch selections, friendly service, and the views of the river, boats, and people passing by on the promenade make for a perfect weekend repast.
Our server was amazing, I feel bad I can't remember his name.
Great choice of creative and yummy small plates made a main course unnecessary. Dessert options were great as well.
I had the Strawberry Gazpacho and the tamal. I thought the food was very average this time, although I have had exceptional experiences in the past. They were great about taking back a special cocktail they were promoting (prickly pear lemonade with rum) and giving me another drink. The service was excellent.
In Portland for a reunion of sorts. Spent a lot of money on meals and accommodations because it was a special vacation for the wife and I. The restaurant did not disappoint Staff very attentive Wine selection good, Entrees all good. Over the Marina... lovely
It's been years since I've been here but I remember the food being MUCH better. We came to Three Degrees to watch the eclipse and for that it was great - awesome view and incredible service. The food, however, was bland and extremely overpriced. $14 for 2 sad eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and steamed greens? Nah. Portland has SO many great breakfast and brunch options - many with ambiance and a view that compares to Three Degrees - they'll really have to step their food game up if they want to charge that much.
Gonna say it again though - the service was friendly, attentive, and really sweet. No complaints there. Stellar service can't make up for that subpar food and lack of excitement on the menu though.
We had breakfast on the patio in order to view the solar eclipse. Breakfast was delicious and the view was splendid. The Host was friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Our server was very sweet and professional. It was a fun morning.
A visually lovely spot on the waterfront, gracious but rustic. Our server was very good, conscientious-attentive. The food was average brunch fare. Perhaps dinner has more culinary flair.
One of my two favorite Portland places for special dinners. The food is always excellent and a bit unusual. I love that they have a special drink that they donate $1 to local river cleanup. Most seats have a nice view of the river. Prices have risen a bit more than average lately, but I loved the food.
Very mixed dining experience. Reserved on Open Table, and we were seated at the worst possible table in a noisy, but virtually empty indoors dining room. When I asked about other seating availability, the hostess pretended that she didn't speak English, or otherwise understand the request, and suggested only that we re-seat ourselves. The only other party seated after us in our dining area (it was after 8:30 pm) got up and left before ordering. Our waiter was fine, but somehow on a Tuesday evening they had run out of Steak Frites --- but not the RibEye Steak for $6 more. The bill read RibEye Frites, but they never brought any fries. Oh well, the food we received was fine, but they obviously have lots and lots of trouble managing to attract and keep good front-line staff.
It should be noted that they offer a very nice Happy Hour from 4 - 6pm, and if you sit outside, and order the specially priced drinks and food, you'll probably enjoy it a lot. My advise it then to plan to eat dinner elsewhere.
Lovely place for dinner - sat outside and was gorgeous:-)
Great Willamette River waterfront restaurant in Portland, OR. Due to higher than normal temperatures, we chose to sit inside in the air conditioning. Great views of the river through the windows. Outside dining would have been great, except for the heat. Food, wine, and service were excellent. Dara was our server and had good recommendations. We really enjoyed the restaurant, location, and service. We were staying at the Hyatt House, two blocks up river. 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The service was impeccable and the food wonderful. We completely enjoyed our visit and will be back again.
The atmosphere is very nice. The outdoor patio was full so we ate at a comfortable booth inside. Their happy hour is great with special prices on drinks and bar food but, be warned, it was very noisy in the bar area on Friday night at 6pm. My tamal was delicious and my husband said his pork chop was the best he'd ever eaten! Our waitress was really professional and friendly so the whole experience was so good we went back the next two nights while we were staying across the street at the Marriott for a convention. There was no noise issue inside the restaurant or outside, just the bar. It's also a nice, pretty walk around the river area before or after a meal.
The meal was nothing spectacular but the deck was beautiful. Lovely night, service was good, prices high for what you get. There are other restaurants along the Riverwalk that looked more interesting and will do those next time.
Great place! Food was excellent with a very different menu.
I'm from Portland suburb of Lake Oswego. Took 2 friends visiting from CA for dinner on patio at 3 Degrees. We shared 4 things: crab bruschetta, watermelon soup, field greens salad, halibut. ALL taste sensations! I'm still thinking about the entire meal, especially watermelon soup which was exceptional!
We got seated at the only table in front of a window without blinds. The sun was beaming in on us and made brunch uncomfortable. Food was good, but it took a long time to get it.
The food was tasty (steak and egg). The patio is great for enjoying the view but doesn't provide adequate shade for direct sun. The service was slow. Overall a 3 stars because the food is great but will think twice about returning because of the service.
I thought the food was good and reasonably priced although $4.00 for a cup of coffee was more than I usually pay for a good bottomless cup of coffee. I was disappointed that there was no seeded whole grain bread.
We enjoyed a very nice dinner and drinks with friends. The food was excellent and service was fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised to see hear one of our favorite bands, Chris Isaak, playing right next to the restaurant during the Waterfront Blues Festival. What a great evening!
We highly recommend Three Degrees!
This was our first time dining at 3 Degrees and it will not be the last. The salad and bread we shared were first-rate, dressed just enough and the dressing was some of the best I've ever had. All the ingredients were super fresh and bursting with flavor. The homemade crisps we were offered were a very nice touch. The Flat-Iron steak came with a Chimichurri and Bearnaise sauces that came with the steak were absolutely fantastic and a bonafide taste sensation when they ran together. The plate came with some lovely, roasted potatoes as well as some lightly dressed Arugula. I am not a big fan of Arugula usually, but I could wake up dreaming about those greens! The Chef also sent us out a nice taste of the Strawberry Gazpacho which we had asked about and it was wonderful! Thank you all, and keep up the good work!!
A beautiful location for a pre-theatre dinner on a sunny June day. Walking distance to Keller auditorium. Wonderful cocktails and great service. Magnificent view of marina and river.
We ordered the original and their "special" hamburger. The original was unchewable in parts ( not sure what kind of meat) and the"special" was an odd combo of ingredients that made it unpleasing to the point of inedible. Our server was great tho and good people watching on the patio. Maybe just have a drink and eat somewhere else.
Three degrees is a hidden gem in the PDX food scene.. Great outdoor seating, and a frequently changing gourmet menu. A+++
We eat at Three Degrees on a regular basis. Great outdoor seating, excellent lunches, dinners and brunches. Food is always dependable and delicious, and the serving staff is very courteous and friendly. Highly recommend.
Food tasted great service was slow
Went to Three Degrees over the weekend with 9 total in our party for a birthday celebration. The best part of the night was they were able to accommodate our party to sit outside. Took another 15 minutes and us asking for our waitress for her to appear. She apologized for the confusion (We had a reservation so I'm not sure what the confusion was). It was Saturday night and they were not busy. We ordered drinks which took another 20 minutes to receive. Service was slow, food was expensive and portions on some were so tiny. My husband got the poke tuna appetizer for $18. There were maybe 6 small pieces of tuna and the rest was avocado. The poke was piled one one side of salad size plate and the other side was empty. I had hoped for better as there is a nice river view but all in our party agree we will not be going here again.
Top notch food and our waitress was super. Great menu selection for any type of person. When I called a few days prior to confirm our reservations, the gentleman who answered was super polite and thankful I had called.
This place is really pricey. There wasn't much variety on the menu. Some smaller portions perhaps for the more budget minded. Had I known I would have suggested we eat in the bar instead of the dining room. Our server was able to get me another glass of the house wine that I received in the bar, but I don't think he wanted to.
Great service and wonderful view food was a 4.5 on. 5 scale.
Came here for a business dinner while visiting Portland. Our waitress was fantastic, very knowledgeable and charismatic. Would recommend
We go to Three Degrees very often, as we enjoy eating outside on the terrace as well as inside, and the food is always delightful. Staff and servers are extremely friendly and responsive. The prix fixe dinner is an excellent value, and we like the fact that the specials in the prix fixe vary each day. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.
