Been here 4-5 times...4.5 stars. This is a very casual spot and the food is great. Very rustic and nothing fancy.

The crab dip was OUTSTANING with huge lumps of crab! The lobster roll was delicious as well. The oysters were also delicious as always! I never miss stopping here for lunch or dinner when I"m in Middleburg... Now I need to try the one in DC!

The food was good and my server was responsive. However, the experience was ruined due to being seated at a small table directly next to the servers area. There were too many instances where a server walked by and bumped my chair. I explained the issue and attempted to be reseated in a less busy area but was told all the other tables were reserved for larger parties.

Our experience was a real mixed bag. The ambience is nice and our main server was good, but the kitchen and runners really soured the meal. We ordered starters and entrees and while it took a while to get our starters, our entrees came out almost immediately after. I don’t think I was more than two bites into my salad before my entree came out. Not only did the kitchen mistime our courses, but the runner should have seen we just got our starters and taken the entrees back to the kitchen. Instead, she tried to force them on us and were confused as to why we wouldn’t want our food to sit there getting cold while we ate our starters. Instead of refiring the entrees, they obviously put them under heat lamps because the fish and chips were lukewarm and soggy and the salad was wilted. They ended up having to remake the fish and chips anyway.

Happy Hour is always a bargain for this raw oyster lover! Yummy and briny!!! Kudos to the shucker - perfect every time!! Shrimp bites are so good and the crab sliders are just yum!! Service is always perfect!! Oh, hubby got the burger -apparently the burger should be famous! N
