This was our second time to King Neptune's and this is the second time they have knocked it out of the park! I had an order of the half chicken and my wife had the swordfish special, both dishes were well seasoned, came out in a timely fashion and a sizeable portion. Chef Chavez and the kitchen staff do incredible work! The serving staff were wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend to visitors and locals to the area.

As usual, the food was great, and the service is amazing. Enjoyed a new dish (pork cassoulet) and the usual tuna pike tacos. Others took advantage of the yummy Tuesday night hibachi bowl special! Highly trained and personable staff who can speak in detail about the menu content. Also, they were not thrown when some special request on some extra sauces were requested, and we bet the kitchen just whipped these up from scratch. This is all very impressive to our out of town guests we invited with us.Keaton the Exec Chef and the team have has this place running at a premiere level.

Our group of seven had a great meal. The food was delicious, especially the brussel sprouts and the fried oysters with kimchi collards and pineapple. Kudos to the chef for these inventive preparations. The salads were huge and filled with fresh ingredients. Shrimp and grits were also delicious. The cocktails were also tasty and creative. I'd recommend their margaritas and their white cosmo was a nice twist. The service was friendly, welcoming and very accommodating to our special needs. Our vegan diners easily found appetizing food and I had confidence that my allergies would be respected. I look forward to eating at King Neptune again!!!

Group of 4 ladies; 3 of whom had never been before. Everyone was so impressed with the delicious food and the fabulous service. A+ experience. Huge portions of gorgeous and scrumptious food with a fantastic environment. Would recommend for romantic meals or a big group. Super impressive.

The service at king neptunes was perfect! Jada was our server and she was so sweet and made my date night with my boyfriend perfect! We also had her once before for a birthday celebration and she was just awesome! The food and drinks were a plus!

Extremly friendly , waitress was superb. Prime rib was very good, didn't like creamed spinach that came with it , wish they allowed a substitute. I would have prefered a baked potato to the potatos that came with the prime rib, salad and yeast rolls would have made for the perfect meal. We had a fried oyster appitizer which was divine , the collards that came with it would have been much better served warm rather than cold. Key lime pie, loaded with fresh berries was excellent.

Brussel sprouts are the best I have ever had! They're addictive. Husband's ribeye a bit flavorless but good. Service was great, restaurant probably too noisy for people with hearing issues. Take home boxes are big brown cardboard boxes. Felt like I was shipping my leftovers to Amazon. However, love new King Neptune! Will keep returning!

This was our first visit to this venerable Wrightsville Beach eatery, but it won't be our last. First, having free, dedicated parking right across the street is a big plus. While we can't compare the "before" look of the facility, the "after" is very, very nice and the new bar is one of the nicest in the area. Overall our meals were excellent; however, I started with the New England Clam Chowder and found it lacking as the broth was too thin and not at all creamy, was a bit salty and the chopped clams not really up to New England standards. The rest of our meal items were really, really good and my Golden Cadillac Margarita (spicy) was one of the best cocktails I've had in quite awhile.

Kong Neptune was a fantastic choice in Wroghtsville Beach. We had fried oyster appetizer, summer berry salad, and my wife had the flounder, and i had Paella. All the dishes were excellent and exceeded expectations. We finished it off with key lime pie and bread pudding. The bread pudding was amazing.

Brussels Sprouts app needed salt, Short Rib app needed to be slow cooked for more tenderness. I had the Scallops with risotto and the risotto was crunchy (under cooked). Wine pairing suggested by waitress was spot on the or the seafood dishes. Shrimp and Grits were fantastic! The grit cakes were on point!

Amazing experience! The chef Nick is so creative with food and he was really cute! We shared the lobster pho special, Brussels sprouts and the mussels. Big portions and great atmosphere.
