We drove up from Brisbane and had a wonderful meal, very authentic Germanic food. My husband was lucky to have a pork knuckle and I had the schnitzel - as good as Germanic food gets, great food and service, outstanding views.. the apple strudel was delicious.

Great food, ambience and service where he actively engaged with us and was very funny. Good energy and atmosphere, the food was top notch and priced reasonably. A good wine selection too. Highly recommended, from someone who only eats quality, nutritious food full of flavor.

We went after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed! Wonderful people, knowledgeable and authentic. Food was very tasty and the strudel was the best we’ve tasted. Highly recommend. Wunderbar, vielen Dank!

My favourite restaurant on the coast. The view is spectacular, the service attentive and the food sublime! The pork knuckle is the best (and biggest!!) meal I’ve had. Wowser. I specially ask for a diesel (German beer and coke together) each time I go. I don’t drink beer but that diesel is delicious. The service staff are just magical. I am determined to try every dish on their menu as the ones I’ve had so far have been excellent. Go here! Eat German deliciousness and roll yourself out the door afterwards. A job very well done by all the crew at King Ludwig’s. We’ll be back!!
