    It was great! Chicago’s oldest crab house and easily one of Chicago’s best. Our service was great and the food even better. The oyster bar specials will definitely bring me back.

    As soon as we got there the staff were so upbeat and happy we were there. Server was great at explaining everything and took our order. THE FOOD WAS SUPERB!!!! Wow what a dinner. Thank you King Crab House for living up to expectations!!!! Barry and Luiza

    A solid go-to if you want reasonably priced seafood! We always get the king crab and a bag boil. Never disappoints!

    Long wanted to go there! I really loved it! Comfortable affordable good choices. Chesapeake oysters ok but not like Pacific Northwest oysters☹️. Sautéd soft shelled crabs made me very happy! Great drinks no foofru (if that is a word). Cannot wait to return!

    Our server Elvira was excellent. We sat at the bar and even the employee shucking the oysters asked us how they were. Great staff excellent food. We'll be back soon.

    This is a new favorite! No wonder this establishment has been around for over 30 years. Their quality when it comes to seafood rivals Avec. Their portion sizes, deals, and taste compete with my dear Ignotz and La Scarola. It's unpretentious, as well. Like my Ignotz and La Scarola, there's no frills. It exists as a humble abode that welcomes all. Its modesty says something, considering it's across the street from Alinea and my beloved Boka. They could have given in to the elevation of their neighbors (no shade, or tea, just sayin'😄). They chose to be an understated Chicago dive instead. That speaks volumes. Come here for the best seafood you'll have in Chicago, in my opinion...so far😉 Thank you for a lovely lunch. I will be back!

    Very impressed with the value! Ordered the three course meal. It came with clam chowder, 1 lb. of snow crab, and key lime pie. Firstly, the clam chowder was delicious and the perfect start to this meal. The crab was delectable! Will 100% be back for the crab. And finishing with the key lime pie was the chef’s kiss to a great meal. I was a little nervous as I was ordering that this meal wouldn’t fill me up, but I was pleasantly surprised!

    Service was not good. The fried shrimp reminded us of the frozen butterfly shrimp and the lobster roll wasn’t very impressive.

    We totally enjoyed coming to King Crab.  we enjoyed the crab very much, very fresh and sweet without even putting the butter on it. The staff was very friendly and kept us loaded up with crab.  we highly recommend king crab to our friends, and we will be back. Thank you.
