King Bar by David Burke
King Bar features live music on Saturday night.
Great atmosphere and service and food. Bacon on clothesline is to die for!!! Excellent cocktails too. Fun place to hang out
It’s my 2nd time & I’m a David Burke fan! 1st time I went was ok! 2nd time food / soup took long which is ok, but it came out cold! That’s not ok! Also my lobster salad tasted sandy as if it wasn’t cleaned properly! The lamb chops are amazing & were both times! Overall it’s not the that good compared the it’s Long Island competitors & competition is strong in nyc! Step it up!
The food was great but the service was very slow. Lunch took almost 2 hours.
Everything was very good, however I was expecting a little more from the food. Lunch is probably not the best way to judge a place by. I will definitely give it another chance. Look forward to trying it again.
The service was absolutely fantastic! Charlie our waiter could not be more gracious and kind. Food was excellent! Coffee perfect. We will be back. Don't waste time eating at diners for breakfast. Breakfast here is special occasion at good prices for what you get
Experience started off good, food was small but very good, waitress had too many tables and her head seemed somewhat else (had to ask 3+ times for my soda). All and all if you get get a table at Red Salt, their attached restaurant, by all means go to King Bar just if they're busy the type of service may decline.
