Our waiter Romon was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our drinks, but unfortunately, we found that both the food and dessert were a bit overcooked and dry.

We would not go again for breakfast. It is a rather basic, sterile, slightly shabby hotel restaurant offering basic fair. The staff are nice, the offering is basic. You are better to go to one of the many high end coffee / pastry shops in the area.

Made the reservation because of the garden room. When we arrived at the restaurant, was told the garden room was closed due to staffing. The waitress further explained that the area was closed because they share it with the hotel next door and an event held the night before did not allow them enough time to prepare it for customers. We chose the option to seat in the area out front. During our dining we were bothered by swarms of nets, I assume as a result of the plants that lined the sidewalk. The nets were awful, and it was difficult to enjoy our food. The food was okay. We ordered soft scrambled eggs which were harder than we wanted. Tried this restaurant for the first time but not sure if would go back.

The menu choices are limited, their food is delicious and their atmosphere is nice. Prices are high but expected. Their Cheese tray is great, specially for those who love blue cheese.

I specifically selected King & Rye for a reservation for the cocktail garden - it was an early summer evening so we wanted to sit outside for drinks & dinner with great weather. I booked a few days in advance and had no issue selecting the cocktail garden for our reservation. I also modified our reservation an hour prior when we were running behind and again, no issues in selecting the cocktail garden. Upon arrival, the host told me the outdoor area was closed due to an "unexpected wedding reception" and we would be seated in the dining room. I see other reviews that note the issues with reservations and that outdoor area being closed with no notice so it seems to be a recurring issue. Their reservation system seems unequipped to handle changes to their availability and scheduling so beware if you have specific plans. I've also never heard of an "unexpected" wedding reception so it was frustrating to feel like the host was giving me a story instead of just telling the truth that their system messed up... Food was fine but not really worth it, I don't plan to return when there are so many better options in Old Town.

The burrata and fig appetizer was excellent, as was the scallops and turnip entree, and my friend loved the shrimp and grits. Great service.

We had a great experience overall. Service was fantastic! However, I do not think the food and beverages were worth the price.

Not a very good experience, brought my wife and family here on Mother's Day which was barely acknowledged. Deviled egg app was great, buffalo mozz and fig app on stale toast was just weird. "Specials" included crabcake benedict that was dusty dry and the crab had an off-putting fishy smell. Other entrees were average, only the potatoes drew rave reviews. One guest ordered a bar drink that she never got. Server was friendly but very uninspired, never checked on us until we were done. Then the bellman offered to bypass the front desk garage validation and just come out to open the gate for me, but then demanding a tip as I approached the gate, only then did I realize he was running a little scam to skim from parking fees, I felt a little dirty. Benefits from being located in a nice and lively hotel, but that's about all you can say for this place. Skip.
