   This was a booking if two halves. We had booked a table on the terrace to make the most of the good weather. On arrival we went out to the empty terrace, only to be told by the receptionist who checked us in that lunch wasn't served on the terrace and we would have to eat in the very noisy restaurant where "bottomless lunch" service was in progress. I insisted that they had taken our booking for the terrace and that was where we wanted to eat. After a quick conversation with the duty manager, explaining that we didn't want the "bottomless lunch", we were asked to move to a table outside the bar which was fine. Things improved dramatically - our waitress was really good, service was timely and the food and drink was very nice.

   Delicious food served in a wonderful setting. Very attentive and friendly staff. We have previously been for Sunday lunch and will return again.

   We had a fabulous time celebrating my birthday made all the more special by the staff who out on some music for us to dance!

   My husband and I only booked last minute, on the morning of Valentine’s Day in fact. We usually get an M&S dine in meal but Stoke Place was offering a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine, for such a reasonable price that we decided to go out instead. It’s very local to us, the ambience and service is exceptional and we love it there! Definitely recommended and we enjoyed our evening immensely.

   Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome and enjoy your meal experience. Food was delicious, generous portions and came hot to the table. Will be going back for sure.

   This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.

   We had the most amazing time as we had the whole place to ourselves, the waitress was amazing, so attentive, chatty, couldn’t do enough for us, topped up our drinks on a few occasions, we weren’t rushed, even brought out a happy birthday plate of chocolate & fruit for my best friend’s birthday, the food was lovely & plentiful, I joked to my friend I had hired the whole place for her, as a birthday treat, honestly we couldn’t fault it, we have been before & they have changed the decor, we had a lovely time & would definitely return, it is worth every penny !!!

   Fun Place to Celebrate! We always go to Stoke Place to celebrate! This time it was a Birthday and the food and service was excellent as usual. It’s such a lovely place to go and the staff are so accommodating! We took a cake and they presented it to the Birthday girl, provided plates and napkins and even took photos of us. We had our coffee in the magnificent adjacent lounge and it was a fitting end to our fun afternoon!

   Had bottomless brunch - Love everything about this place and the staff absolutely cannot do enough for you!! We will be back.
