   Amazing food, cooked to perfection. Friendly fast service. Value good especially midweek deals. Highly recommend.

   Was really looking forward to coming here. Had heard positive things about the restaurant. The food was good and tasty. The service was lacking unfortunately. One example, came and cleared empty drinks from the table but had to ask 5-10 minutes later if we could have another. Felt more transactional us being there as opposed to being a valued customer or guest of The Kindling.

   Fantastic family visit for my Son's 22nd birthday. The starters were delicious, steaks were cooked exactly to each person's liking and desserts scrummy. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, busy but not manic and the service and staff were excellent. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our Son's birthday dinner one to remember.

   Chilled atmosphere. Steak was very good! Delicious apple tart for dessert. Service was excellent.

   Would be 5* but the main course took just a little too long to arrive, and with a show to go to, we ended up having to rush things a little. But service excellent and friendly, steak delicious and lovely sides. Overall, very much enjoyed.

   Service was very quick, and food was delicious. Make sure you book in advance as it gets busy during the evenings

   Best roast we’ve had in a long time. Everything was so flavoursome and left us with taste buds tingling and full tummy’s.

   Enjoyed the evening and my steak was excellent! Pudding was a bit dry could have done with a bit more coulis to compensate!

    Kindling is a lovely little restaurant in terms of vibe and the wait staff were lovely (although very slow). Unfortunately, I don’t think it lives up to the hype. Compared to the other strictly steak restaurants in brighton and have I thought it was average, with the side dishes especially falling flat (very bland mac and cheese)
