   I took my elderly mother here, she’s recently widowed. In poor health and is struggling. She’s sad! She also lives a good four hours away from me so we don’t get to see each other as often as we would like. I wanted to take mum to a safe space and kindling is mine and my wife’s safe place and we wanted to share that. We knew that the boys wouldn’t let us down . Mum absolutely loved her roast, in fact it’s the most she’s eaten in weeks. She thoroughly enjoyed it and we can’t thank kindling enough.

   A little gem of a place. Food is amazing. Staff attentive in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

   Incredible food, great service and gorgeous decor. I honestly thought my partner was going to cry at one point because he was so happy with the food!

   Food was great, but the service let things down. I told them it’s my partner’s 30th birthday. We was sat at a small table down the side, nothing fancy. I watched the waitress pour a blokes beers next to us when I ordered two beers both came and were put on a table and I had to pour them. It’s these little things that make a difference. No birthday dessert or birthday wishes. I wouldn’t go back to this place.

   My only niggle, the tables were quite close to other guest. Almost felt like we were double dating the tables either side lol

   DO NOT SKIP OUT ON THE DESSERTS! The sticky toffee pudding and basque cheesecake were amazing.

    We had a lovely evening here for my husband’s birthday. Food was delicious. The brisket and jalapeño croquettes were amazing. Lovely setting, very pretty. Will definitely be back.
