Kin Dee showcases contemporary Thai cuisine, serving a three-course menu of seasonal plates to share.

Using traditional Thai recipes, seasonal and regional produce, Kin Dee creates its authentic Thai flavors from scratch each day. Essential ingredients such as lemongrass, Kaffir limes, wild ginger, galangal, tumeric, coriander seeds and red chilies are imported by chef Dalad Kambhu from carefully-selected suppliers in Thailand. Following traditional recipes, Kambhu creates her own homemade curry pastes: ‘Pastes are for us Thais what cheese is for the French; there are countless kinds. We prepare all of ours in house’. The meat is from organic farms, while the fish and seafood are both sustainably caught. Whenever possible, Kambhu and her international team replace Thai products with locally available products.

Dalad Kambhu and Kin Dee were awarded a Michelin star in 2021 for the third year in a row.

    An amazing selection of authentic food, a true flavour sensation! Great service we were attended to throughout the meal. I was really pleased to be offered to taste the champagne before buying. I would highly recommend this restaurant to tourists and locals alike.

    Ich interessierte mich sehr für gutes thailändisches Essen. Für mich entsprach der Preis für die Kombination aus Essen und Wein jedoch nicht den Erwartungen. Das Essen war auf jeden Fall sehr interessant und hat gut geschmeckt. Außerdem ist die Beleuchtung sehr hell und grell, ich würde über eine Abschwächung nachdenken.

    Hier ist man thailändische Küche vom Feinsten. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, bemüht und sehr aufmerksam. Man hört zu und geht auf die Befindlichkeiten der Gäste ein. Alle Gänge waren sehr fein abgestimmt und das Menü steigerte sich von Gang zu Gang. Wenn wir nicht in Hamburg, sondern in Berlin wohnen würden, dann wären wir regelmäßig hier.

    This ticks all the box of a premium price meal: i get to explore interesting flavor combinations, made from high quality ingredients, but most importantly all the meals were insanely delicious. I‘ll have dreams about the salads, clams cooked in curry paste, white wine… much better than moules frittes!

    Perfect special date night dinner. Well coursed, beautiful presentation, and the right amount of food. The food itself was fantastic. Really lovely and elevated takes on traditional Thai dishes, but not so done up that you don’t recognize what they are. Dessert was also a treat; never thought Thai basil ice cream with chili lime granita would be something I’d eat, but it was delicious. Great spot for a special night out and good value for some seriously good food.

    super tolle nette betreuung. extra nochmal leckere vorspeise bekommen. originelle weinauswahl und sehr harmonisch und gut abgestimmte speisen (bis auf die miesmuscheln welche für unseren geschmack überdeckt waren). insgesamt eine tolle entspannte und leckere sache :)

    It was such a nice experience! The food was tasty and the staff wonderful. They were very friendly and authentic, spontaneous and nice. It was my boyfriend’s birthday so I asked the waitress is she could put a small candle on the cake or something and she said of course. So when the time for the cake came, the chef herself brought it and then the bottle of his drink with a candle! Plus we got 2 alcohol free gyn&tonics, as a gift. The food was super tasty and the whole evening very pleasant and cheerful. It felt like some really special occasion, as I was hoping it would be :)

    A culinary success, with quality seasonal produce and very fine seasoning. But the decor and background music were a little strange, as was the environment, which is probably not yet appropriate for this type of restaurant. Price a little excessive for the place and the type of food cooked.

    Fantastisches Essen! Toller Aperitif, leckere Vorspeisen zum Teilen, Hauptgänge/ Rind und Miesmuscheln auf den Punkt. Zwanglos, und einfach lecker und dennoch weit mehr als der "normale" Thai. Das Ambiente vielleicht etwas roh - war mir aber völlig egal! :-)

    The food was super tasty, the staff polite and helpful. The staff described in detail each dish, but still it was unexpected flavour combinations - very tasty. Definitely one of the best white asparagus I have eaten!
