Killen's Steakhouse Woodland's
Good food and service as always. We love killens steakhouse and love having Rob as our server!
Service was outstanding. Food other than Caesar salad was top notch.
Great food, service was good they were busy and probably understaffed Needed to ask a couple times for more water. Overall great will be back!
Blake made our experience terrific. He always does. Highly recommended!
Great steaks, sides and service. Ryan will not disappoint you. Perfect old fashioned too, if you like.
Some of the wine is over priced. Silver Oak AV is waayyyy too much. $$.
Amazing food and wonderful service. Had the New York Strip Flight.
Overall great experience. The food lived up to the hype and was delicious!
We had a great dinner- food and service were perfect!
I think a booth would have been more quiet and romantic but Andrew, our waiter, was phenomenonal❣
Server was excellent and knew all questions about menu. Menu has lots of options little pricey excellent food
Perfect for a night out. Service and food was amazing!
The food was good, but not worth the high price. $400 for two people was a bit much!
The steaks here are outstanding. Our party ordered from the "wet-aged" portion of the menu - both the NY strip and filets. Both cuts were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The seasoning and texture of the "crust" were delicious. Broccoli risotto, more like a casserole, was also quite good. Very cheesy.
The salads could use some updating. They were good, but I was expecting more from Killen's. Same with the bread.
The atmosphere is dark and formal, but the bar still had the Astros game on the TV, so not too stuffy. The inside is very dimly lit, which I like, but be prepared to bring your reading glasses for the menu if you have trouble in dim lighting situations. :) Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
Great place for steaks and a special occasion.
Great food and excellent service. Very generous portions.
Overall, an extremely pleasing and well put-together dining experience. Although, there was a particularly loud patron beside our quiet group. Us civilians were bombarded with his booming voice and screeches of laughter. This had nothing to do with the restaurant, for the servers were quite attentive and compromising. He sounded like a chimpanzee of the ape family, and that should only accompany my ears in the zoo atmosphere. If I were to encounter this again, I would request that we be moved or he be tamed.
Awesome meal for my son’s graduation!
Foood was under cooked and our food came out 30 minutes apart from the couple we were with.
Hands down the Best restaurant in The Woodlands. The pork belly appetizer is nothing short of amazing, best steaks and always cooked to Perfection. The sides are wonderful and the carrot cake is amazing. Our favorite place...
Today was our first time dining at Killens and the experience was incredible. Wonderful service, ambiance, and top notch food quality.
Excellent food and service
Ryan is great. We had a great dinner.
Steak and staff is great
The food was terrific and service from Blake was even better!
Excellent ambiance, with delicious food. Happy to come back, though it was pretty expensive.
The stakes were very well cooked but i did not like the crunchy of the outside... was very salted hence the real flavor of the meat is not appreciated. The Mac and cheese is a box product as well as the mashed potato.. being that kind of restaurant that should not be offered to the customers.
I am ashamed to say the was my first time to Killen's. I have always heard how great it is.
This was one of the best meals of my life. The steaks were flavorful and juicy, cooked to perfection. We had scallop potatoes and cream spinach for sides and the cream spinach was by far the best, scallops were very good. To top it off we had the carrot cake. I love carrot cake. Wow! I mean Wow! It was unbelievable. So moist and creamy.
Marissa, the hostess, had originally sat us at a booth but we preferred a table and she did a great job of finding an open table, very pleasant and efficient. Oscar was our waiter and he offered great service as well.
I strongly recommend Killen's and we will make this restaurant one of our regular destinations for steak.
Excellent food and service! Very attentive to needs and visited by a manager while there.
We decided to get a reservation for Mother’s Day for my hubby & I because we’d celebrated early with the family the day before. We were a few minutes early but were seated right away. Our waiter greeted us right away &
got us a glass of champagne to start along with the delicious bread they provide to the table. We were very hungry so that was great! We then shared the crab cake appetizer-unique & yummy! They were busy as expected but everything flowed along nicely & our waiter did a good job. The menu isn’t what I’d call extensive but there is is decent variety - of course there are steaks but also a fish, chicken & other choices. They do have a great side dish selection. I had the domestic Wagyu filet - it was fantastic & perfectly cooked. Hubby had the pork chop & enjoyed it. We shared the creamed spinach (omg!) and a baked potato. Everything was very tasty, hot & fresh. It’s been a while since we’ve been here but we enjoyed it & will be back.
Mother’s Day dinner
Outstanding meal as always. Ryan is a true gem. Great service.
Good as always.
To further improve the food experience serve the food on vety hot dishes. Appetizers and sides turned cold quickly given they were served on cold dishes and AC was cold too.
The food and services AMAZING! You will not find a better steakhouse in The Woodland area. Everyone must go there and try them out! It's loud and energetic so feel free to bring the kids.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday. I had special
Requests in the notes to have a special birthday dessert brought out to us which was never brought out. The server also was unaware of the occasion as he asked us twice what we were celebrating and even after I advised him my husband birthday the requests were completely ignored. I felt horrible as this was a very special day but didn’t feel Special at all due to the service we received.
It was my husband’s birthday and we really enjoyed the food and the Venue. Our waiter was excellent
This is a traditional steakhouse with a variety of high-end selections. The dry-aged rib eye was excellent and cooked to perfection. My wife had a crab cake appetizer that was also very good. The service was nice and the table was quiet and comfortable.
I have been to many steakhouses but this is the best one in Houston. We had the crab cake and pork belly for starters. They were amazing and could have eaten the pork belly myself and not shared. We had the Ribeye and Filet both you could cut with a fork and not need a knife. They were very tender and flavorful. We had lots of sides Au Gratin Potatoes, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Creamed Spinach, Brussel Sprout and Broccoli and Cheddar Risotto. We had multiple people so we shared the sides. The lobster Mac and Cheese was a special and one of the best Lobster dishes I have every had. We did not order dessert but did have cocktails and they were very smooth.
The experience was good, and the food was outstanding.
