Always a wonderful place to go and to bring family and friends. We have never been disappointed with the service, food and ambiance of the place. It has become one of our favorite go to places!
accommodating staff, music too loud, adjusted speaker.
Food very good, generous portions.
the food is good but as a French native, it does not meet up the standards I am used to concerning food
superb menu and food preparation, acceptable noise level for conversation, service good but unsteady at times. a very pleasant dinner experience.
We came early in the evening (530pm) They were already out of the shrimp appetizer that was the "happy hour special from 5-6" but did not offer a substitute. Then we replaced that request with the bruschetta, which they were also out of... so we settled on wings. (they were delicious)
We felt like we were bothering the waiter at times. Just a bit "snobby" ??
Main course was good, but brussels were dry on the ends and the "hoe cake" was soggy. Maybe think of a way to arrange the plate where that remains crisp, but the taste was yummy and the duck was cooked perfectly.
We waited 1 hour and almost 30 minutes for our appetizers. Food and apps came all together, no plates, no sauces, no dressing for salad, water refill etc. Waitress came back 20 min after food came to check in us, at that point we had eaten everything and wanted to leave. Emailed manager, waiting in a response.
Awful service, we were there 1 1/2 hours and still no food, or even told how much longer it would be.
We left, no idea how the food would have been.
Hostess and waiter , not a word!
Terrible terrible experience.
We waited over two hours for our food, it was cold and not cooked appropriately and then I had to ask for the manager for a half hour before she acknowledged me. Truly horrendous service. Will never return.
Fantastic food and comfortable atmosphere. Service was vary attentive.
Friendly staff. Great service. Food was delicious!
Soooooo good!! Yummy, fast, and the cutest place!
It was absolutely wonderful.
First time visit and food was delicious! The only complaint was the AC was incredibly turned low and it was cold ! Thank you
My son and I were looking for a restaurant in Mt. Pleasant. We were not familiar with Kiki & Rye, but the menu looked good so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed! Everything was delicious!. We had the pork belly appetizer. The smoked flavor made this dish. My son ordered the duck for his main dish and I ordered the pasta. In addition to thoroughly enjoying both our mains and our appetizer, the restaurant has great cocktails. We both highly recommend Kiki & Rye .
We celebrated our anniversary with our kids and we loved it!
Best fish dish I have had in a long time!
Had a wonderful meal at Kiki & Rye! The food is always fabulous, especially the mussels (Please don't ever change them, they are they best in the city!)
Food and ambiance was amazing, unfortunately the service was not as good. We felt rushed all the time and it felt like we were not welcomed. We made reservations for 2:30 and the place closes at 3 on Sundays. They should not take late reservations if they will not be confortable with it. It is very uncomfortable to feel rushed when all you want is to enjoy and have a good time.
We were at Kiki’s for Sunday Brunch. Our meal was delicious and service was perfect. What we really enjoyed was the live music.
We ordered brunch. Entrees and drinks were overpriced. Ordered iced tea and was told it would be a minimum of 15 minutes for more to be brewed. Meanwhile, other patrons in the restaurant were being served iced tea. Also, one entree contained dry toast. Requested jelly and was told they didn’t have any.
The food at this restaurant is fun and well thought out. The flavors explode in your mouth and there is always this nice hidden component that just makes the dish. We sat at the bar and had a great experience. This is a restaurant you need to check out when your in Charleston.
Had a group of 10 ranging from 6m to 59yrs, everyone had an excellent meal and experience. Great service from the waitress and bar!
Food was great, staff very accommodating, and service was fantastic. Will definitely be back here in the near future.
Took 45 mins to get our salads. Service was very slow all the entire time. We repeatedly had to ask for water. They offered to take 1 salad off the bill but did not.
Kitchen is slow and the place is unfortunately understaffed. Food came out cold / room temp. Can’t blame the restaurant too much for the slowness / understaffing, but the food could have at least been kept warm
Great service. Lovely outdoor dining. Delicious food.
Food was good. Well prepared and tasty. Will certainly return.
We scheduled a lunch-time birthday party outside and were delighted by the setting. Our server was excellent - very friendly and efficient, and very accommodating when it came to our requests. The lunch menu is limited but has nice variety. Most of the dishes have a bit of heat (spiciness) to them, but generally that can be remedied for those who don't care for it. Just check with the server before ordering. We will definitely be back!
Food and service was amazing. We sat outside which was very nice and quaint.
Sunday brunch with extended family
Great food, love this place!
What a wonderful place for ladies dinner. Our service was cheerful and excellent.
Fish was undercooked however mgt removed the meal from the bill. Overall everything was very good.
John was a wonderful server and my friend and I both enjoyed the very tasty shrimp sandwich. We sat outside on the patio next to the pond and enjoyed a very peaceful experience!
The food was amazing and the staff was outstanding. Would go back again tonight.
Great ambiance. Food took over an hour. We saw our burger sit for over 10 minutes under a heat lamp waiting on the other entrees. The service was great and the waiter was very tentative. Pork belly appetizer was fantastic. The scallops were cooked to perfection but the grits were still bitter and crunchy as if they had not cooked long enough. The scallop dish was also covered in a layer of liquid floating above the grits. There wasn’t enough salt in the dish nor was there any placed on the table. This was our first time here and would love to come back in the future but the entrees were an overall letdown.
Long waits for service, understand business is tough during these times. Could tell our server was overwhelmed, she was nice. Soda was flat, shrimp roll came with red seasoning inconsistent to previous shrimp roll from previous visit. Beer was also flat. Was warned at seating food was going to take a long time. It was ok, could definitely be better and not sure if we’d be back even though we’d like to.
Don't get the steak & eggs. All fat, no steak.
Great outdoor dining space. The service was outstanding other than the courses came a little fast. The food was very good, I thought it was a little expensive for what it was, but will definitely be back.
