Located next to a beautiful beach, we are a vibrant and cozy place to enjoy modern Japanese cuisine from our enthusiastic and companionable team members.

We accept reservations online for up to 6 guests, with a seating time of 2 hours. We encourage guests after a reservation for 1-6 diners to make their bookings online. 15 minutes grace time to all bookings. Please note that our online booking system reflects real time availability at the restaurant.

For groups of 7 guests or more, please contact our reservations team on 0411 306 208 or info@kicho.com.au. Please note that groups of 7+ guests are required to dine on a set menu.

We take enquires for large group booking or catering requirements.

Dietary requirements are welcome and can be accommodated with advance notice. We recommend you let us know at the time of booking to ensure we can meet your needs.

Kicho Japanese is a pearl of a restaurant that I will now having just discovered it will frequent regularly. I tried takeaway first .... delicious ... presented on time with a smile in an insulated bag. Dinner on Sunday evening was excellent. Service 10 out of 10.... and prompt....even more impressive as the restaurant was full. Food sublime .... classy Japanese food at a reasonable price. Love it.

Our 2 guests (1st time at Kicho) were very impressed - with the food and the service as were we. The Feed Me menu was interesting and delightful. A good night out!

We love the authenticity and the quality of food. They are always trying new things with the “feed me”menu and never disappoint. The service is always warm. It is 1 of our local favourite!

Great experience of authentic Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend the 6 course meal as it is Good value for money, well presented and every course was a delight to the palette. Staff are polite, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this establishment.

We had the banquet because previous experience was very good. But we were extremely disappointed with the food. This time. 4 of the courses were cold and there was more rice to bulk up fun I expected. We paid extra for the fish but it wasn’t very impressive and was room temperature. We did not get the wow factor this time around.
