Bringing Tokyo-chic to Jericho, KIBOU Oxford on 11-12 Little Clarendon Street fuses vibrant Japanese dining with great design. Expect stunning murals, floral installations, and neon-lit booths in our stylish dining areas, including an open sushi kitchen, cocktail lounge, and lush Japanese garden.
Our diverse menu features beautifully crafted moriawase sushi and sashimi platters, A5 grade wagyu, hearty ramen, crispy tempura and pillowy bao buns, alongside vegan options, teriyaki, katsu curry and a range of Japanese-inspired puds.

Dive into classics such as tempura prawn California roll, salmon tataki with mango salsa and sea bream nigiri, followed by decadent shichimi chocolate tart, cinnamon & apple gyoza and traditional custard dorayaki with strawberry compôte. Priced at £23 per person - served with a choice of Japanese teas and infusions as standard – such as delicately fragrant jasmine or the sweet and nutty notes of genmaicha – green tea with toasted brown rice.     Teishoku is a traditional Japanese set meal comprising of a: Main plate + Sides + Rice + Soup At KIBOU, our lunchtime Teishoko menu includes classics such as prawn tempura, chicken teriyaki or veggie katsu curry. Served with a bowl of furikake rice, edamame beans, pickles, yamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), goma wakame, and a bowl of homemade miso soup. Available Monday to Friday from 12pm to 3.30pm - for just £17.50

    Had a great birthday meal. The restaurant looks lovely. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food tasted delicious and was good quality. They even gave me a slice of cake for my birthday! We had a fantastic evening to remember. Definitely recommend.

    Lovely food. Waitress was very helpful in selecting dishes from the menu. Service was a little slow because they were very busy, but that also added to the ambience, so can’t complain.

    Great atmosphere and a great table with beautiful benches rather than chairs. Excellent, helpful, friendly service - gave great information and advice as it was our first visit to Kibou. Food was really good and pretty good value. My only suggestion was that the lighting was variable and quite dim so quite hard to read the menu! We would definitely visit again.

    Excellent service by Cat and the food was really well presented and tasted brilliant. Very good menu and each was well explained when asked. This was my second visit and it definitely encouraged a return.
