We have always loved Khe Yo and have eaten there regularly since the day they opened (always for dinner). Went for lunch in COVID to meet friends. Had to be honest, a bit less perfect than usual (pho noodles came a bit clumpy) but PLEASE EAT HERE! The food is always interesting, and great quality. I would DEFINITELY go back

I love KheYo. Such a hidden gem in Tribeca. The food and drinks are always amazing and they have great sake selections. Lunch is good, dinner is even better. They do a Laotian New Year (in normal years) which is unmissable. Right now they have great outdoor seating during Covid, but I love sitting inside. Everyone I've ever taken there becomes a regular like me. Love it!

The waitress was very hospitable and accommodating. I had the steak and it was delicious - could they have cut so that it will be much easier to eat it with chopsticks? As far as the sauce for the egg rolls a separate sauce with vinegar and garlic would have been a good addition. All in all we love it and we appreciate the COVID-19 precautions. We will be back.

Delicious and original. Recommend everything except the papaya salad. The whole fish in particular is amazing. Some stuff is too spicy for me bust mostly manageable.

First time seeing Laotian food in NYC and Khe-Yo was a welcome find! Introduced two of my friends to the cuisine and had a great time. Nice outdoor seating area even in the rain, and service was prompt.

Food was all delicious and imaginatively prepared, spiced, and presented. Our favorite this visit was the prawns and noodles, with large prawns and wide noodles, mildly but well-spiced. Also enjoyed the curried salmon. For the non-meat eaters, they varied one of the appetizers to remove the pork. And the outdoor seating for covid times was very nice - the whole short block is closed to traffic so I think they may have actually had more seating outside than they usually do inside.

The servers were not always wearing gloves. This made us worried and put a damper on everything. The Brussel sprouts and crunchy rice balls were excellent, the rest was good, not great.
I was told when I made the reservation that a complementary sorbet with a candle for the birthday occasion would arrive, but it didn’t. We enjoyed our time there but not certain we’d return.

We ran really late for our 2:45 lunch reservation, when I called, Khe-Yo staff was SO incredibly accommodating and got us a table at 4pm instead. The server was genuinely warm and friendly and the food was amazing and fresh and flavorful as always. This is my new favorite restaurant and I can't wait to get back there.

Khe-Yo is heat Laotian good. The restaurant has done a nice job creating covered outdoor seating expanding into Duane St. The service was very good in what a re clearly adverse conditions. The food was excellent. Surprisingly, our favorite appetizer was the shave Brussels sprouts. Best I have ever had! The beef jerky and chicken sausage were also very tasty. For dinner we had the chicken which is a huge portion of delicious chicken and the pho, which had a great flavor. Definitely worth the trip!

Outstanding food and has adapted to COVID-19 outdoor service in NYC very well (masks, gloves, and most importantly proper plexiglass dividers between all the diners).

Great value and inventive dishes.

An absolute favorite, my family goes for someone's birthday every year.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious , this is the fourth time I come here. Living in NYC I tried not to go to places more than twice because there are so much good food around that I don’t want to miss anything however I will come here as many times I can because the food is more than delicious, the service, the ambiance ( even in times of Covid19) . You have to try it and believe me you won’t be disappointed.

Husband and came into the city for a day date without kids. Went to Khe-Yo for lunch as I had been pretty-COVID for an amazing work dinner and wanted to bring him. Had the spring rolls which was a big appetizer portion and delicious, Hen of the Woods Baum Mi, and the shrimp bowl with sticky rice. All amazing. Both cocktails we tried were also great. Staff was friendly and Tribeca is a great neighborhood for outdoor dining.

Went during quarantine so outside-only seating, but the food is as excellent as ever (a reduced menu size obviously). The outdoor seating setup is very nice, and its on a quiet street so not very loud.

The owner (or head of service), a guy by the name of Nick wouldn‘t let me ask a question regarding my reservation (I had a very tired and hungry child with me and just wanted to check on how long it would REALISTICALLY take) He had some issues regarding tables which he said were already ready. That‘s why he kept on interrupting me in a very rude manner. He also „suggested“ that I go to another rwstaurant if I don‘t like it (I assume he meant if I don‘t like to keep my mouth shut).
He can deal with his employees that way if he (and they) choose to, but not with customers. Not with me.

I guess that 2-3 months ago - when all restaurants were closed and there was no revenue - he kept his arrogance down.

It was really overpriced. There was cake fee per head per person. Even as a big group, we didn’t feel like we got the whole accommodations. For example, we can two sticky rice among 10 people? You’d get one for just coming along or bringing a date. Overall, the place is nice to hang out for drinks but definitely not to overextend for dinner.

The food was truly outstanding. The menu is limited - and a bit pricey - but every dish is delicious. If you like Brussels sprouts - these are the best I've ever had.
