Amazing dining experience. Absolutely loved it from start to finish! Try everything!
LOVE this restaurant. It has become my favorite place
The papaya salad was not up to par as it usually is. The Pa Dek (fermented fish sauce) was off and too salty. We’ve had it here many times and it was much better. Different chef maybe? We also asked the server to make it “EXTRA EXTRA LAOTIAN SPICY” and it wasn’t. We also had to ask for extra lime to make it taste a little better. Overall, everything was still great! Just still a bit bitter about the papaya salad, but I’ll get over it. :)
The food was amazing! Especially the shrimp and the rice pudding. We were sitting near some really loud tables but otherwise had a great dining experience.
Waiter was terrible. Clueless, no where to be found
Wonderful evening—food superb, ginger mock tail refreshing, excellent service. Prepare for very high noise level. Shrimp, pork belly, tuna with foi gras disappeared rapidly. We will return!
A new fav of mine
Food was too spicy!!!!
Interesting menu well-executed. Priced reasonably.
Awesome food and wine experience! Our server provided A+ service. I’d totally recommend Khe-Yo to anyone.
Excellent food and service!
Delicious food, everything we tried was yummy.
Anthony Bourdain was right! Now i have to write until i pass 50 characters.
Khe-Yo’s dishes were all so unique and amazing! Definitely excited to come back and try more!
Great food and great service. Love this place. The beef jerky and coconut rice are stars on the small plates. Had the sea bass special as well and cooked perfectly.
Excellent culinary experience! Worth trying every dish!
Our first Laotian food and it was spectacular. Appetizers were great and the mains were terific.
We loved the whole Bronzino with lettuce wraps! The papaya salad was on the salty side but fresh. Will come back to try more dishes.
The service was pretty poor. Our food took a very long time. We asked for a few things and we only got it after we finished with our meal, after I asked for it 3 times.
The food wasn't so great and the service wasn't either. Our server seemed like he was lost. It was an alright dinner.
I’m a foodie. I was born in Thailand. I love Lao/Thai food. I order it in every city and country I visit. This was NOT good. If you know your papaya salad, you know the difference between Lao and Thai papaya salad. The papaya salad was NOT Lao flavor. It’s was not even good Thai. The food was bland, did not hit the home cooking cravings, and the menu was very limited. If you are a true Lao/Thai food lover, you will be disappointed. If you don’t care, then you will probably enjoy it.
Food is delicious, so flavorful and good portions.
Our second visit but disappointing this time. Indifferent service, bottled water not cold, dishes with old, dried-up lettuce, over cooked fish, and so on. Not offering the best in Laotian cuisine.
Seared foie gras was over cooked. And chicken too. Other items ordered freat. Bartender and staff great.
Loved it, new kitchen for me with food from Laos, really good... busy place, kinda noisy but you could still talk to the people around the table.
What you eat here cannot be found anywhere else! Sophisticated Asian with fusion twist.
Interesting food. Lots of fresh vegetables. Whole fish was great. Coconut rice was a bit too sweet but still good.
Great food and ambiance. Menu is not deep, but diverse with interesting combinations. Fried soft shell crab special was delicious, as was salmon.
Food was superb! The presentation and flavors were wonderful.
The fried whole fish was well worth its price. Fresh and perfectly done. The other dishes - coconut rice balls, papaya salad - were less noteworthy (my wife comments that the papaya salad was over-slathered with fish sauce). We ate at the bar, and the bar tender was busy but attentive, helpful and a little cranky (which I personally enjoyed).
Great food, offering a different dining experience to other restaurants.
Waitress was super knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. The food was great especially the beef jerky and the hen of the woods banh mi
The food was excellent! I am mostly vegetarian (pescatarian, really) so ordering wasn’t easy but our server was helpful. I will step out of my vegetarian box for sustainable seafood. I ordered the branzino and is was fantastic! If you are strict vegetarian your choices are very limited. Most of their broths are fish based. Excellent sticky rice! The flavors were so yummy! Highly recommend.
A little loud but it quiets down. Food is unique and delicious.
Food was fantastic, especially the pork belly. The menu is split into small and large plates so the waiter gave us recommendations on portion sizes after we ordered, which turned out to be on point. The pricing is listed as $31-50; I think the average should be a bit higher (maybe $50-75pp).
I’ve loved this place in the past. But tonight our ribs were really tough. Still, great ambiance.
Always an amazing place to visit! It’s not just food, it’s a food experience. Get The Pig. So good and unlike what you can eat anywhere else.
The waitress was great but the man who greeted and sat us down was cold and silent.
Very good food served in a casual atmosphere. Highly recommend the pork belly and the spare ribs. The sticky rice is superb. The curry is also very good albeit a bit too many noodles and not enough meat, but definitely filling and delicious. The drinks are a bit overpriced, but the food is not in my opinion. Second time here no disappointment, will definitely go back and strongly recommend.
Everything about this establishment was excellent. The one thing that I would recommend is that the bar stays open past 930 or whenever they close so someone can have a drink afterwards
