   Great little place but stay away if you dont like spice! We had the papaya salad which I could barely eat. The quail small plate was very tasty but beware the sauce on the side. The shrimp dish with toast was excellent ..plenty of shrimp in a delightful sauce -perfect for the toast to absorb. For a very small place it was incredibly noisy but that seems to be the ambiance at every restaurant in the city. Luckily my husband and I know each other but it would be challenging if you were trying to have much of a conversation.

   Delicious food and we loved the ambience. The service was excellent. We sat outdoors in a little mini kiosk which was an extra special experience.

   The menu and food are delicious and balanced, we’ve eaten here many times. Management needs to do the staff and customers a favor and train everyone on the floor. They are all nice and enthusiastic, but lack all the basics. We had a good ten minutes of silence after being seated. No water, no greeting, then the drinks took 20 minutes. Then another 10 minutes before we were asked to order. We’ll keep eating here because it’s a favorite in the neighborhood but you need to help your employees with the basic understanding of their function in the experience. Thank you!

   My Tuna was excellent but the shrimp dish was tasteless, or rather the Shrimp was. The sauce was good but the shrimp was very bland. Drinks-nothing spectacular. Papaya salad was spicy (they warned us) but not excessively so. But nothing was spectacular about the flavor.

    We made a reservation for four but ended up a friend cancelled so it was three of us. It was the last day of restaurant week and we agreed to try the restaurant week menu. I selected Smoked Chili Glazed Duck Leg Confit Pickled Cucumber & Toasted Country Bread for the small plate/appetizer. It was a little hard for my taste but it is tasty. The large plate/entree I picked was Berkshire Pork Spare Ribs, Smashed Long Bean & Papaya Salad with Cherry Tomatoes. They specified that the restaurant week version does not include the rice. The ribs were good but I am not sure the regular version is a good value for $35 as stated in the menu. I went with the waitress' recommendation for the dessert: Toasted Coconut Gelato. I liked it. The three of us also ordered a bottle of the sparkling Rose. We enjoyed it. All in all, we had a fun time and the place had good food. U want to highlight that the servers were very accommodating. They asked a lot of questions to suit our needs and made very sensible recommendations. They do have good food, just think that they are a little pricy.

    My girlfriend and I went here for a quick lunch and were amazed by the cool atmosphere and tasty food. I had the lemongrass chicken protein bowl with the Fresh Rice Noodles with Sweet Carrot Sauce, Peanuts, Crispy Shallots, Bean Sprouts & Black Kale base and I was happily surprised of how well it went together. If we come back to NY were definitely stopping back for lunch! Also the service was great!

    Our first experience with cuisine from Loas. We ordered 7 different dishes including 2 appetizers. Everything was presented well and tasted great. Would visit there again in the near future.

    Another stop on our family’s (they are from California) to share a favorite spot of ours. Food, service and overall experience a big hit all around. Something for everyone’s taste from a cuisine not often found. Good for a group, just two (check out their secluded window box table).

    I had Khe-Yo at a gala for Legacies of War in 2016. I’ve thought about it ever since. Wedding anniversary was coming up and we decided it’d be a great spot to go. This place is super popular, but for good reason. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Definitely recommend.

    Food was great with the exception of two dishes at the end which we should not have ordered (too sweet and too salty). In all fairness our amazing server asked us not to order but we did not listen to her LOL. What's disturbing is that the restaurant added 3.5% credit card fee to our bill which is in violation of the rules set by the consumer protection dept of NY . The correct way to do it is to offer two menu prices (one paid with cash, one paid with credit card) or offer customers the option to pay with cash without that fee which the restaurant failed to do. A bit sketchy if you ask me.

    We went after lunch rush so I cannot comment on the noise. The restaurant is on the rustic side. The food was freaking delicious. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient. It was my first time to try Laotian food. My home town only has a few Vietnamese restaurants which my wife and I enjoy. But after eating here, our favorite Vietnamese restaurant will never measure up. I heartily recommend this place.

    Me and my fiancé’s experience was fair. My fiancé is from Laos so we kind of expected the food to be pretty great! We started off our appetizers and drinks. So far it was good. But once we got our entrees, our dinner food were decent at best. Presentation was decent and the Pho we ordered was lacking flavor to make it great. Overall it was fair our dinner

    Server made mistakes on both of our entrées. Asked for medium, rare salmon and was served medium well done. We also ordered prawns and they gave us the wrong prawn dish. They replace the salmon order and it was cooked. Exactly the same. Because I was on a date, I did not send it back a second time cost of the salmon entrée was about $46. Very disappointed that the kitchen couldn’t get it right two times around. Nice ambience. Also elt that the restaurant should’ve offered us something for getting both entrées wrong. Perhaps dessert or drinks. On a price/value basis, I think there’s better restaurants to go to in Manhattan.

    Good drinks. Food tastes good but overpriced for what it is. We got charged for regular tap water. If we hadn’t looked at the bill carefully… we might’ve missed it. Don’t know if this was a true error or a way to get people to pay extra. Once we brought it up, it was quickly resolved so that was good.
