Good sushi and Thai place. Fresh, authentic ingredients. Really liked the Nigiri lunch special and the Thai Chicken fried rice dishes. Waitress was super friendly and attentive. Will be back soon!
This is our second time here we wanted to give them another chance since they were new.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Thai soups are traditionally served in a big pot for people to share instead of individual bowls and we prefer to go to places that have more spice. This food just had no flavor. The spring rolls were the worst -there was no peanut sauce it was some tasteless brown sauce & lettuce:/carrots wrapped in rice paper. Lackluster service -sat without water & It was a Sunday with two tables filled.
EXCELLENT panang! Excellent pad thai. Very authentic, they are from Thailand. Very friendly.
It was slow, so I hope the word spreads and they stay there and very successful. We will definitely return.
A nice little restaurant with delish sashimi! Hostess was adorable! Really enjoyed the food
The food was great, even better than I hoped. I would highly recommend Khao to anyone. We were there on a Sunday, so it was pretty quiet. I imagine it would be a little noisier in the evenings. The service was impeccable - very friendly and attentive. If anyone has any doubts about trying it, you shouldn't. Make a reservation if you want a booth.
The green curry was amazing!! Service was awesome!
Our first visit but not our last...!
The restaurant is hidden on the back side of a shopping center and was a little tricky to find. Our party of four started with Sushi and Spring Rolls. Everything tasted fresh and was presented nicely. One of the specials was a Curried Duck, with slices of juicy, tender meat in the well-seasoned sauce.
Another dish we ordered was the Drunken Noodles. They ask how spicy you'd like your entree, but the wait staff did not explain the heat levels. Normally we order medium when eating Thai food, but their medium spice was HOT. Just a word to the wise when you go, be prepared or order mild if unsure, and add hot sauce if needed!
Others in our party shared a sweet and sour chicken with rice, which made a nice presentation.
After dinner we were surprised with a large portion of their Pineapple Coconut Ice Cream, with four spoons, which was delicious.
The restaurant was clean, service was excellent, and we look forward to another visit.
Quiet neighborhood gem. It's tucked away in a strip mall and easy to miss, which may explain why the dining room was empty. We were a little worried when we walked in to an empty restaurant, but the were so glad we stayed. The crab rangoons, pad see ew and crab/shrimp curry dish were all fantastic! We will definitely return. Would love to see an expanded wine and beer selection, though.
