Their steaks are ALWAYS great, but the Duck was phenomenal. The trout was exceptional; at first we thought they gave us a Salmon! Perfectly done.
Great service and good selectdions and reccomendations for wine.
You can never to wrong here.
Such agreat place but chaffing dishes had broken handles and food sat in them for too long before refreshing. Bloody Mary’s were awesome!
Food was very good, but way overpriced (Easter brunch). Would recommend for normal lunch or dinner.
This is a wonderful log structure with mountain ambiance in a great setting and easy to drive to from Denver. The setting is beautiful on the west end of the lake beside the golf course. We also had a table in front of the fireplace. There is a great room that has a large window for large groups at one end of the restaurant that was very inviting.
The food is good and hearty, with great the new diet conscience in mind. We had the prime rib beef which wasn't too salty, but had an au jus side if you wanted to add a salty taste. The asparagus was very well prepared. Also had a house salad with honey mustard dressing that was more than just a normal house salad in flavor and content. They accommodated by GF and DF diet very well.
The wait staff was attentive. We look forward to coming back.
This is our go-to place when we want a memorable meal without having to put on the airs. The people there are concerned and strive to make it a relaxing experience with great food. We love it.
We loved it. We hope to be back next Valentine’s Day!
Gabriella is wonderful!
A seventeen Dollar beef sandwich? Please! Think that's a bit much.
Great food and excellent service. Cozy atmosphere.
We absolutely loved this place! 21 ladies for a bacherolette party! We picked Keys on the Green for dinner one night the staff was over the top friendly and accommodating! Craig was amazing as was our server Doug! I highly recommend this place! The meals were fantastic as well
Excellent food, ambiance and service! Always enjoy the people and the place! Suitable for every occasion - and definitely a neighborhood gem!
The preparation of the lamb and scallops were perfect. The meals with balanced with healthy options. The four sided fireplace and historic interior were ideal. The overlook onto the New Year's Eve fireworks were a treat. Prompt service was appreciated.
When I made the reservation, I didn't know there was a special menu for New Year's Eve. I was planning to get a chicken dish for about $20, but instead had to choose from a special menu for $65. For that amount, I would think coffee would be included, but was charged for that on top of the $65. I came away from the dinner really regretting I spent so much. I wish I would have known about the $65 menu when I made the reservation.
We really like Keys for everyday + special ocassions + birthdays + anniversaries. It is a special place for us.
We celebrated my mother in laws birthday here and couldn’t have been more pleased. The food was excellent and the service attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself had charming holiday decor and a delightful atmosphere. Try the lobster ravioli with jumbo shrimp. I melted with glee over this dish!
Great pre fix choices for Christmas Eve dinner..Attentive staff..
Food was disappointing. Also when I called about menu for xmas eve they did not say it was prix fix access limited menu. They should have said. My steak and lobster tail were tiny. The osso buco was off and had to be exchanged for a "rack of lamb" which was exceptionally tasty but super small. It should be at least 5 ribs to make a rack. Also it was from NZ and Colorado has amazing lamb. Use local.
Went to Keys w/another couple for X'mas Eve dinner. Atmosphere & service were great. Thought $50/ea was a bit high for the amount of food (tiny salad, very thin prime rib, but big cake), but it was X'mas Eve.
Christmas Eve dinner for $50 per person. Soup, meat, and dessert were good. They served a few tablespoons of mashed potatoes with nothing on them, not even butter. Also, the serving of vegetables was small and they used frozen veggies.
The dinner was not worth it due to the potatoes and vegetables.
We thoroughly enjoyed our family-of-6 gathering for an Early Christmas Dinner at Keys On The Green. We loved the Christmas-Rustic Atmosphere/Décor... and the awesome fireplace created the perfect ambiance for our "Meal In The Mountains". The service and food were wonderful. Thank you! [As an aside... we have lived in Evergreen for 23 years and we only dined at Keys On The Green during the summer months... we are happy to have experienced it in the Winter!]
I have dined here many times over the last couple of years and I have never been disappointed. I like my beef cooked R to MR...and I always get it the way I request it.
Side dishes are yummy. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.
This week, as we just were entering the restaurant a huge herd of elk came by to dine on the adjacent golf course. Lots of young elk playing. It was so much fun to watch.
Love the fire and being able to sit next to it. Amy was our server and she was great.
We drove to Evergreen to pick out a Christmas tree so I made reservations because of the good reviews. Little did I know it would turn out to be one of the best family evenings we have had in a long time. We arrived early and they worked fast to get us a table. Beautiful Christmas decorations and so cozy with the fireplace. Food was so great and the atmosphere was festive. The owner paid special attention to my granddaughter and carried her around to show her the decorations at the same time giving equal attention to all the other patrons. A wonderful, delicious holiday evening. I'm looking forward to going back in the summer to sit on their patio!
We went for a birthday celebration . Very nice meal and atmosphere. Service could have been better, although we have had worse! Food was very well priced and delicious! Wine was a little over priced in my opinion. We will return.
We had a great Thanksgiving dinner. The food was great and plentiful and the service was excellent. I would recommend Keys on the Green to anyone. You will enjoy everything from the rustic decor to the great food, drinks and service. Definitely on our go back to list!!
We weren’t sure how a Thanksgiving meal would be at Keys on the Green but we were pleasantly surprised! Everything was so good and the service was exceptional. We will be back!
2016 Thanksgiving Dinner was excellent. 2017 Thanksgiving Dinner was disappointing - turkey was served in big chunks, and not trimmed well, gravy and stuffing were lukewarm, and the gravy was blah. Just not what we expected after having pitch perfect good last year.
great service, exellect menu and food. fun environment.
The food is good as well as the service. Very pleasant atmospere.
We go there often nice staff good view of the golf course
We went for brunch with a friend. Food was very good, service was fine and it was quiet. We did not feel rushed at all as we stayed to chat. Would definitely recommend.
Love this place!! Great burgers on Monday nights (special). Great service!! Incredible cozy, warm, log construction with fabulous center, stone fireplace.
We had friends visiting from Kentucky and we enjoyed a wonderful evening at Keys on the Green. Great food! Great service! Our friends loved it. We have eaten there on summer afternoon on the patio and it was lovely!
Wow. Old and stuffy is the best way to describe this place. Had never been before. Doubt I would ever go back. All the other tables were older folks ordering steaks and baked potatoes. Carpet on the floor. Very dated decor. My husband said yea that's what a public golf course restaurant looks like. Ha. I got the $15 beet salad. So small. It was good but for $15 it should have been big enough to be a meal not a side salad.
On the plus side, we were seated right away and our server was pleasant and attentive. It was all downhill from there. Sticky table, stale rolls, meager side salad, tuna entree served without sauce, etc. This restaurant is fine for lunch but I'll never go back for dinner. It was very disappointing.
Great setting, the seafood special was excellent, service was very good.
Horrible food, the servicer was kind but nothing could make the dinner better.
Very disappointing. Waiter was unprofessional. Nice but needed training. Bread very mediocre. Shrimp scampi was very salty. Pork chop was well done and dry..... ordered medium. Steelhead trout was tasteless and not fresh. Forgot baked potato that was ordered with trout. Had to wait for fourth persons plate for a long period. Others were almost done eating when last plate arrived. Coffee after dinner was served lukewarm and we had to share one spoon between 4 people to stir coffee. Dessert was our last hope. Creme brûlée probably was a mix... no body, key lime pie and chocolate cake was mediocre assumed just purchased from general supply house. Overall very disappointing. We were expecting much more for the price and menu description. Was not a fun dining experience all the way around.
Burgers were smaller than the past, and med-rare came out well done. French fries have been reduced in volume as well. Craig, go back to previous Monday night burgers!
