The food and service is always impeccable
Food is amazing! Quality selection throughout the menu.
Very cool design, ambiance, and food was delicious. Had 4 small plates among 2 people and it was perfect. Cocktails were delicious too!
I had an amazing meal with friends while I was visiting San Diego. The ambience was incredible! 3 of us shared plates (4 small plates and a large plate)- and I’m glad we did so I could try more dishes. Every one was a dish I’d order again and again. Wonderful culinary experience.
Excellent food and love the variety of dishes. Always good here including the service.
Definitely a great experience. They were right on time with our reservation, the service was great, and the dishes were all really fantastic. The portions are small so be ready to order a few plates to share.
Ended up loving the counter dining experience for our date night!
Great food, fun atmosphere.
Very Good, not great. Food was creative and mostly good., especially the fish. Chicken dish was average.
Such a great experience! They had a jazz band and heaters going.. I was outside and it was so lovely. The atmosphere was so comfortable. The bartenders were so funny and nice.
Everything was great except the waiter.
Terrible service. Pushy and rude. No communication skills
The food was great, but don’t be surprised when you get served a small entree when you’re ordering from their “large plates”, otherwise great food and great service.
Great overall experience!
Has been one of our favorites for creative delicious food and an upbeat fun vibe since we first tried it when it opened
The “small plate” selections are all worth a try, but for us the standouts are the kale salad, spicy shrimp, spicy tuna on crispy rice and a new favorite the lamb noodles !! We usually stay with the small plates which are amazing to share, but we have enjoyed the large plates at other visits and been impressed with them as well.
Deservedly at times can be a tough reservation during peak dinner hours but try going early or sit at the outdoor bar area or one of the 2 bars and you can’t go wrong
Food, wine and service were terrific. Server was extremely helpful w/ small plates suggestions.
excellent overall! good tasting and beautiful food, live music, excellent for dating, group gathering and family
Great upbeat environment. Server was excellent and good food!
What a fantastic evening from start to finish! ! 4 of us celebrated my husbands Birthday. Ariana our server was just amazing!!!She really represented the chef and his team and created a dining experience.
The “fatty liver” biscuit and gravy was a table favorite we wish we ordered 2 . The gnocchi was to die for! The pig Mac was creative and the salmon tartar was also good! We shared the scallop entree, which was done perfectly. The topper was the pork shoulder entree. The presentation and flavor blew us away! The four of us shared that and were totally satisfied! Ariana finished us off with a champagne toast to celebrate with as well as a delicious budino!
We also ordered the creamsicle, and that was so refreshing and a real palette cleanser!
5++stars all the way!
Great dinner spot with fun atmosphere. I will def return.
Great food in a super cool industrial chic spot with a view. Uniquely cool.
Visiting San Diego from out of town and wanted a nice restaurant to bring my family to. Great ambiance, food and excellent service.
Unfortunately the salad came to the table extremely late and our guest with gluten allergies was unable to enjoy the meal.
Delay in being served due to unforeseen circumstances but were comped for first round of drinks and desert. Excellent food and service thereafter. Very well informed about food options and recommendations. Very nice atmosphere.
Incredible venue for dinner and drinks. Tons of character, very current and trendy feel. Quiet main floor, with poshy roof top. My new fav spot in San Diego's little Italy district.
This place has become more of a bar and place to be seen as opposed to a restaurant. We ordered 5 small plates and only one of them was warm. The timing of the dishes was poor. One came out right away and then a long wait until the second and then the remaining 3 came all at once. We were disappointed that the salt cooked fish we had on our previous visit last fall was not on the menu. Other choices for main plates were disappointed. Overall disappointing experience.
Also to get to the rest room is crazy. You have to push yourself through the opposite side of the bar area because they put the DJ in front of the dining door way closest to the rest room--really bad idea. Also there were long lines to both the mens and the womens rest rooms and some drunks kept cutting the line.
Our meal was incredible, Erica our server was outstanding! Love the asian inspiration in the dishes here. We will definitely be back!
My wife came here 3 weeks ago with her friends and raved about the food when she got home. For Valentine’s I decided to take the whole family (6) here since my wife had a good experience. Unfortunate, my daughter and youngest son were not able to eat their orders ( chicken bowl with rice) it was way too salty bec of the soy sauce. My other sons order - some fries - the fries weren’t crunchy and too salty as well. My other sons order was some noodle - the noodle was over cooked and too soft. My wife’s order of crab with egg was alright and my order of avocado sandwich was okay. The ambiance was awesome though. We will try it one more time in the near future and decide an official review on yelp after that experience. Thank you
One of my favorite spots in San Diego!
Our reservation was at 9 and we were seated at 9:45, I’m guessing this is a good strategy to sell extra drinks at the bar while you wait...and of course the price to pay for going out on Valentine’s day.
Food was very good but the amount of food served was very scarce considering the price of the menu.
I should probably give them a pass, as it was Valentine's Day and they had clearly way overbooked, understaffed, or both. That said, they charged us a relatively expensive pris fixe, then overbooked/understaffed. We had a 9PM reservation. They left us waiting in a crowded lobby/bar area for 45 minutes before we were seated. They then intermittently checked in on us to drop off the production-line meal as they had our next courses available. Sometimes this was very close back-to-back (like while we were still eating the prior one), and sometimes it was a 15-20 minute wait after we had finished before someone showed back up. The food was decent. About half the items we liked, and some were not so great. Loud, hectic, un-romantic environment for Valentine's Day. We should have known, but we were visiting from out of town and saw good reviews of the restaurant. Bar area upstairs was also completely packed to the point you almost couldn't even get to the restrooms. Overall a disappointing evening...
Everything was great !
Megan was an outstanding server and made the experience more enjoyable.
Food was amazing Valentines set menu was outstanding. Every course extraordinary.
Ambiance was excellent. We will be back.
We will not have dinner there, but may try brunch or lunch
The hostess told to hold on when we announced our reservation for our anniversary, and then she walked away. A different employee showed up a few minutes later and helped another group first, a group without reservations. We waited awhile longer and finally gave up on this place . Not very customer friendly. Decided to go to elsewhere to celebrate our love. Tragic.
