   This time we waited longer than usual and there was a disgruntled guest that was loud and killing the vibe but overall a good time.

   What a nice surprise , hidden in downtown Dallas. The time was set perfectly from the moment we walked through the entrance. We were greeted with complimentary champagne, then taken up to the 49th floor , short walk up the stairs to the 50th floor ! Service was excellent, very attentive and quick. Drinks were on point . Great variety . We ordered the Tower , and it did not disappoint. Our compliments tot he Sushi Chef . Our favorite item was the Nigiri sushi with caviar and bacon. Best item hands down. Highly recommended can’t forget about the 360 degree observation deck of downtown.

   Skip it! Maybe worth the trip downtown (and valet and a wait to go up in the elevator) to enjoy a nice view and have a drink but NOT to have a nice date night. Extremely limited sushi selection or any other food options but yet a kajillion drink options. Sashimi was good per my husband but cooked options were only ok at best. Restaurant itself is a tiny crowded space, lots of selfie takers. We had the idea to leave while we were strolling around the observation deck waiting for our table and honestly wish we had so we could at least salvage the evening. Super loud club music so conversation is almost impossible. BONUS - had to wait 30 minutes for our "reservation". Don't understand the rave reviews for sure. Never going back!

   They have overpriced drinks. Waitresses told us a margarita was $18 then when the bill came, we noticed the margarita had a charge of $27.

   As a minority, to be overlooked while waiting to order is quite offensive. The bartender over looked us and and even some white patrons sitting at the bar had to order for us after we waited, called him over, tried to get his attention for more than 20 minutes. Not a place I would ever go back to. The server, BAM was the only one who made our experience great. I hate to grade this a one and mention her because she was a 10.

   We visited for Valentine’s Day and had a great time. Menu was somewhat limited, but everything we had was excellent. Our server did a fabulous job and was very attentive. I had asked for a window seat when I made the reservation, but they did not accommodate the request, which was disappointing. Very cozy, great views, exceptional sushi and service. A bit noisy and pretty pricey, but we knew that going in. All in all, it was a really nice, special-occasion experience, but would not be a regular hangout venue for us.

   I made a late evening reservation because my wife was flying into Dallas. We arrived to a full house on a Thursday night. The place was busy but organized. We were immediately tended to at the hostess podium and seated. The view is amazing!. Ordered wine and the tower. Everything was beyond our expectations. Ashley was phenomenal. For sure the best sushi, cocktails and atmosphere in Dallas.

    The view is amazing and food was delicious. The hostesses were great but the bartenders and staff were rude and spent most of their time loudly chatting and laughing amongst themselves. I expected a high end experience and felt ignored. It was a week day, so I’m glad they had time to relax and enjoy themselves, it simply wasn’t the experience I hoped for.

    Kessaku never disappoints in any way! The views, the cocktails, the sushi, the servers, and the walk around the building. It's all fabulous. I've been three times and it's always been excellent.

    Stunning! Food is amazing. King Crab Roll with the brown butter is spectacular. Ambiance is perfect for a romantic date night. We love this place.

    Kessaku was a terrific experience from the moment you enter the hotel lobby until the minute you leave. Upon arrival we were greeted with the option to have a glass of champagne before being directed to the elevator to the restaurant. Our server was spot on with her drink recommendations and the food was delicious. I was presently surprised that the prices were not astronomical. There is an observation deck that has beautiful views of the City with small tables where you can sit and enjoy the views as you sip your drink. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I will definitely be back!

    Food and view were amazing. Service was ok but the seating at the window uncomfortable, clumsy old cushion chairs and table were too close together. Made the whole experience less value and not wanting to come back.

    This is a good place for drinks or to start a night out. Not a place to have dinner. The wagyu and salmon nigiri was amazing. The drinks were delicious. If you want a night of Insta worthy pics this is the place. I would suggest making an early or late reservation for drinks and eating elsewhere. Bam our server was wonderful.

    Great atmosphere and amazing food. Menu is a little sparse but everything we had was amazing. Make sure to take a drink and walk around the catwalk - 49th floor looking out over Dallas does not disappoint from any angle.

    Late night reservation review. Experience for an earlier dinner may vary. We made a reservation for 9:15 for drinks and walked into what I thought was a night club. We enjoyed the music and squeezed our way into the bar while we waited for our table for 2. It took an additional 20mins to get seated past our reso. No problem, we had drinks. $66.03 for a signature cocktail, Hibiki and tip. Finally got seated. Wait staff took another 30 mins to take our drinks. 45mins later we tried to track them down to get the check. Drinks were good but crazy expensive. Crowd was lively like a club. Service was too slow to try this spot again. Bar at Monarch is a better experience than this Tao group knockoff.

    Restaurant is amazing inside even better if they’d say us next to the window w the 50 floor view. Was sat immediately even though we were 15 mins late for our reservation and the hostesses weren’t caddy about it, as we find a lot at these types of places. super friendly and knowledgeable waitress. She was attentive and spent the time with her customers. Good champagne options and wine as well, the book was like a massive 100 pages, thank goodness she opened to the champagne page for me. The food options were limited I’d say 10-15 items total, but it was a great selection, covered the bases, amazing quality food and taste. We ate a ton and felt great which to me is an absolute sign to quality. Cocktail list was also plentiful I tried one. Portions were small but to be expected at that style restaurant and location. Ambiance is totally on point every table in the restaurant has a view, some indirect. Overall would absolutely return next time we’re in Dallas.

    I stumbled across this place eavesdropping. I told my friend that’s where we are going for your birthday. I read the reviews. Started with the bad ones first and kept thinking this can’t be true. When I read a good review I understood what I was getting into. A sexy, vibrant, speak easy. Perfect sized room, cozy and comfortable. The old fashioned was perfect, she had the Fromage Noir! Very impressed. Our server BAM, knows how present the offerings of Kessaku. BAM knows the menu and gave perfect descriptions of the items we ordered. We were giving men the thumbs up to take a walk around the place. Seeing the perfect views of Downtown Dallas just right at sunset. The King Crab Roll is impressive with a side of clarified butter to drizzle over the roll! Must have item! This is a great date place, a great hang out with close friends. Great views, sexy people, perfect mix of music.

    We tried this place out on a Saturday night. The view is beautiful. Drinks and food are very pricey. We thought this was a restaurant but really, it's a lounge with small plates and cocktails. Since we were expecting a restaurant for a date night, we weren't super happy about the noise level. Rap/hip hop music playing VERY loudly really makes conversation very difficult, and honestly it takes away from the ambience. It felt like we were at a club. Since it's more of an upscale bar, people were having a good time and shouting, drinking, etc. I may go here to start a rowdy yet classy evening with friends, but this isn't a good choice for a full meal and conversation.
