All the food we ordered was hot and very good. The coconut blast drink was awesome. The nachos was to die for. They have a very friendly staff. All in all a very good experience.
If you're wondering where your salt is being spent....check your food....very very very salty...
Food was good but for the price we paid ice tea and coffee should have been included in the price of the buffet. Selections were very limited.
It was good for Easter brunch, just a bit disorganized.
We went to Kenzies to see Peter Alden and came early to have some drinks and dinner. It was our first time to Kenzies and we were impressed with service, quality of drinks and overall atmosphere. We will go back.
Enjoyed the Frank Sinatra singer and his 2 fellow singers. Had terrible waitress service from Jacqueline that Weds . Ate there 3 other days during our stay and those 3 servers were excellent. I think one's name was Fabrice. Food was good and moderately priced. This was the week starting April 3, 2017.
Good food at a good price. There were a good amount of option on the menu, and all of the dishes that our party ordered were enjoyed.
The live entertainment on Wednesday nights is great! The food was ok and we had a really fun time. I've also had lunch at Kenzie's and it was a nice quiet atmosphere.
We went to see a Frank Sinatra singer and to have the Italian buffet. Once we arrived we saw a friend and asked to be seated with her. They were very accommodating. The food was very good and the waiter was very attentive. The show was great! The main singer was good, two others who joined in were great and an another fellow told jokes and had the whole place laughing!!!! We even danced a little. It was a most enjoyable evening!
It was a Wednesday entertainment night starting at 6 pm. Reservations at 5 pm, leaving enough time to order and have our meal. The dinner selection was limited, but the food was good.
We reserve Dining w Frank Sinatra impersonator bec I love all his hit songs but it happened it was Elvis who was there , u shld announce that was change . You need to update your show w younger generation and new menu , we ate the same breakfast and dinner for our 4 days stay but overall I still like the place Thank you
Food was good, prices reasonable, the service was lousy. There were very few people there, but the waitress gave us very little attention. When we wanted something, she couldn't be found. Fortunately a bus boy got us what we needed.
So disorganized! Wait staff confused, I got a table but did not reserve a seat for me.
Four adults enjoyed a Sunday brunch!
The price was very reasonable, the selection was good and the service was friendly!
Wonderful entertainment with good food in a lovely environment.
The food was very good, and special requests were handled easily. It was an enjoyable experience
We made a special trip to this on resort restaurant when we had so many other choices. The service was inattentive, the food overcooked and not as ordered, our food took forever to come and it was of poor quality. When mentioned and shown to the staff, the server said, "I watched them cook it." The manager took an amount off the bill. While we enjoyed Mystic Dunes very much, we will never return to Kenzie's again. Our money and time is better spent elsewhere.
We loved the mix of this week. On Wednesdays it's usually Frank Sinatra but this week he added guests who did Elvis and a few numbers by a girl singer. They were great. And made a nice variety!!
Nice singer tonight. Sax player rocked. Dinner AND a show
Valentines dinner. Very nice. We are going back!
Good food at reasonable price. There should be happy hour prices on the weekend, especially for those of us that have played 18 holes of golf and want to eat and drink after play.
We had the Italian night buffet however as with buffets, it's hard to keep the food hot. It's just warm and not much for me to eat when you're gluten free.
The entertainment was very good!
Good food , good prices, quiet ,easy to talk,
Waitress may have been new , but only fair service
Excellent place, food and customer service
We went to spend New Year's Eve with my family
Wait staff was friendly and easy going. A must when people are vacationing!
The live music was too loud., although they were very good. The food was better than we expected for golf course resort dining.
Christmas dinner was the worst we have ever had at this restaurant.
The service was bad and we felt rushed to eat our food. We were misled about how
late Christmas dinner was to be served when I made inquiries about it.
The salad bar ran out of plates twice, soup bowls once, salad once, dressings once. Wait staff passed drinks and food in front of others. Staff had to be requested to replenish plates and bowls. Food was not tasty, too much fat on the prime rib. one guest ordered Half and Half Ice Tea and received sweet tea and had to wait to get it replaced. Guest had to get the attention of the wait staff to get service at the salad bar.
Did not want the buffet, no ala carte menu, so I ate off site. Bummer.
The price was right for a family Christmas dinner, while traveling. The Christmas main course platters were nice. The salad and soup were lacking in taste and selection. The staff was very nice and the kitchen accommodated special needs diet. Our waitress was scattered when remembering dining needs. My vegan meal was not served until the rest of the table was half way through their meals. My biggest objection was that we sat in empty plates between courses while the staff watch the basketball game on the tv. We sat with dirty and cluttered salad/ soup plates while our dinner was being served. I had to go and ask for our dinner plates to be cleared.- as we sat with them waiting. We were charged an automatic 20% tip for this type of service.
We have eaten here 3 times. Twice was just for lunch and the good and service were very good and the prices sensible. The restaurant is soacoius and peaceful. We also had Christmas lunch which was great value.
The atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas nicely!
Chicken fettucini alfredo was very good, generous portion. House wine is reasonably priced. Restaurant is noisy...poor acoustics. Wanted to eat there again on Christmas day, but only the $24.95 buffet was available...no ala carte menu.
The regular menu is very good for lunch and dinner.
Some bartenders know how to make a great mix drink, but others need to
learn how to do them.
Jessica the bartender was fabulous. She made the best tasting cocktails, especially the vodka gimlets. The bus boys were great,,,,,there was never a dirty plate on our tables for long,,,they were right there taking them away. The Frank Sinatra show on Wednesday night so good also!
We ate at Kenzie's several times during our stay at Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club, and were pleased with the menu variety and overall food quality. Thanksgiving dinner was excellent as well. Thanks to the staff who served us well this week!
Service was poor. It took a very long time to get our meal, which was odd since every meal on Thanksgiving was the same. Food was just okay. Squish soup was good, but turkey was luke warm. Sweet potatoes were odd. Sauce on ham was yucky. Ran out of pecan pie by the time we ate, around 7:00. Overall, can't recommended this place.
Food was awful. Two 1" piece of turkey on the plate. Food came out cold. Salad ran out. No cheese,no dressing. Never asked if we wanted another drink. On the plus side were seated right on time.
It was a thanksgiving dinner special. We had an early seating, 4:30 pm. Upon arriving, we waited by the front entrance for about 10 minutes, as no one was around to seat us. We stepped forward to the bar to see if we could see anyone, but other than a few customers eating at tables in the bar, no one was found. Again, we waited a few more minutes before someone finally showing up and we were seated.
When our waitress came and took our order, she forgot to tell us about the salad/soup bar until after she brought out our main course,so when we did get up to get the salad, the table was pretty crowded and by the time we got to the main course, it was probably luke warm at best.
The portion of turkey served was small, our seating was early so I can't imagine they were running short of turkey. The up side to this was that they gave us plenty of other food, ham, stuffing, potatoes, yams & acorn squash. No breads, but, again plenty of food.
The food was good & tasty, decent portions (other than turkey), really did enjoy ourselves, leaving very satisfied & happy.
We booked for Thanksgiving as we were staying at the resort on vacation. We seriously each only had one bite sized chunk of turkey with the meal. We paid over $22 a piece for the skimpy meal. All 6 people in our party were extremely disappointed with the meal. Terrible value.
