   I was excited the buffet was open but what a disappointment . No servers and a very limited selection of food. I should’ve gone to the sociale next door for the $20 prime rib which is delicious. This was $45 for ham and meatloaf. Won’t make this mistake again.

   Overall the food that was offered was good. However, $45 was steep for the type of food and the options provided. Thankfully there was dining dollars offered. The buffet prior to covid was excellent. No steak option, no coffee offered this time. Thought that was odd.

   Buffet was overpriced by at least half Extremely disappointed with the choices of food Did not seem to have any theme for the Kentucky Derby Desserts were the best part of the buffet

   We were so excited for the return of the buffet at Del Lago and while $75 was a steep price tag, the inclusion of prime rib and raw bar with oysters and shrimp on NYE made it seem worth it. It was no where near worth it. Remember Ponderosa? Much better. There was ZERO service. After being seated there was no wait staff and only the occasional busser clearing plates. Occasionally may be over describing the removal of plates as ours piled up and a couple behind us moved there's to another table. Luckily we brought sodas in from casino floor because I'm unsure of how one would get a drink other than water. There was a bucket full of small bottled waters available. The only food that was really edible was the prime rib and a salad. I tried an orzo salad and yam salad that were both somehow tasteless, I tried creamed spinach that was so disgusting I had to take it off my plate, which since no one was really clearing plates wasn't a problem. Burnt food, salty food, or tasteless food were abundant. Some tables had cloths, others didn't, there did not seem to be any rhyme or reason to this. The deserts were premade with the macrons still in the plastic sleeve they came in. Overall this was a horribly disappointing experience and I would say they were not prepared to have a buffet again, especially not a $75 NYE buffet. It felt like we had dinner in a retirement home dining room on a random Tuesday. If they do this again next year and you are on the fence, I suggest spending your money elsewhere.

   Hot food, great flavors for entrees and desserts. Service was adequate, price was good

   I have never had cold clams before and talking to other people there they hadn't either. They were very fishy and not good cold. All other food was food.

   The buffet was plentiful. The foods were mostly tasty. I did find the Jerk Pork roast a little dry, but there were enough things available to eat that it didn't matter. The clams were not served hot, but they were tasty.

   Overall we enjoyed our lunch buffet. The beef tenderloin and turkey were moist and flavorful. I had a drum stick. I like that the tendon bones are removed, makes for much easier eating. Great variety of gravies and sauces were available. Particularly liked the chimi curi. The egg drop soup was noteworthy.. Nice and hot and creamy. As always the desserts were delicious. Great selection.

    It was a decent buffet but not for the price. Flank steak was tough and clams & mussels were frozen. They should have been warm or hot
