   pretty loud but i'm just getting old. great somme who made good reccos and mostly good staff that were attentive

   the menu has a lot of deliciously interesting things on it, most of all the hot dog. The dishes run small so you'll have to get quite a few to ensure your group is comfortably full at the end. The staff is very attentive, knowledgable and smily.

   Couldn't fault lunch experience so returned for dinner. Food was fabulous..$70 degustation We requested to exchange tongue and cheek for another dish. Our waiter seemed to think it would be a lot of trouble...go figure. Restaurants need to offer an alternative to offal offerings. Wine waitress was excellent. Excellent venue..having booked, we were offered a seat side by side to watch the chefs...we declined and asked for a quite table. Again this seemed a difficult request...go figure. We were then directed to the noisiest (kitchen) and busiest (large table) . I suggested a table...no problem. This was a Mon night and this part of restaurant was empty. We waited 25 mins before our order was taken. Waited a further 25 mins before food arrived After a long wait for wine ($140) we had to request burgundy glasses. All in all...to much waiting compensated by lovely food

   Great food, punchy flavours, excellent cocktails! I tried the sharing menu and felt like I was full and had plenty of variety, each course was delicious and together they were very complimentary!

   KSS layout and ambience is great as usual but seem to have lost its earlier vibe. Granted I was early this time and it was a rainy night. Offers a good selection of beverages. The $70PP 7 course "degustation" served up a delectable kingfish*, swordfish, lamb* and unique basil dessert* dish but was let down by the very salty and ordinary cube of beef tongue and smoky humus. We looked forward to the kangaroo island scallops but these were replaced with oysters. The dishes were served up by different waiters/waitresses/ the maitre d? The serving order did not follow the list and were sometimes merely placed on our table without a courteous announcement of what was being served - which is what one can expect in such an establishment ... (done in my earlier visit in autumn/early winter) As I was the one to make the booking, it was a bit of a let down. My dining companions had made a mental note not to come back. Dining experience was let down by my having to hear the drone of endless comparisons with other establishments =( Not the KSS I knew earlier in the year.

    Would recommend highly and will be going back. My wife and I went for a casual birthday lunch and had a great time with good food and wine, a casual comfortable environment. Great service and a very nice personal touch from one of the staff when leaving was a small box containing a little cake for my wife's Birthday.
