   Let me preface this review with, "We Loved the Food!" They hired a really good photographer for this one. We drove past the place twice before we saw it. The, " in a casually modern 35 seat space" is very casual and very, very informal with several large wooden benches across creating booths with tables around the perimeter. The servers were very young, very friendly and very personable with no limitations. The ambiance is really that of an Asian take out place with seating, but the food is GREAT!! We had the pork dumplings (small), spring rolls (also small), Mongolian beef and pineapple fried rice and they were all OUTSTANDING!!! As we were dressed for a night on the town, we were far less casual than our surroundings, but we will be back and you should too!!! By the way, the menu is huge with offerings from, "five major East Asian Cuisines-Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Thai" and I suspect that all are done well!

   Great food! Great menu! It was out first time there and certainly will be back many many times in the future. The place needs some sprucing up... I felt it was clean, just a little old. That being said the food was relish, great value, great presentation.

   The food was very tasty as always. My friend and I go there every month before we go to a little local theater down the street to see a play. I also go there frequently for a quick lunch. It is a great alternative to Chinatown since it is sometimes difficult to park there. We never have difficulty finding street parking at Ken Shin.

   I usually enjoy my visits here but it wasn't as great as I have come to expect. Nothing bad just the food was a little off. The spring rolls and the dumplings were a little over cooked and the rice was very sticky. It may have been a bad day but I was not as happy with the overall experience as I usually am.

    The food is always great.. I get the same thing every time I visit and Kenshin always allows my substitution at no additional charge. That keeps me coming back. Service is ok where the waitstaff is not always hovering and I like that all the staff stops what they are doing to see to your needs. I would always recommend Kenshin for both lunch and dinner and BYOB makes it well worth the visit. I recently started reserving a table and they always have it ready even if I have made a change in my reservation or come a little later than when I reserved it.
