Our waiter Joshua was fantastic! He made our experience perfect. We had the short rib dish and the potato fries with everything in it. Very good and the desserts were also well made.

Convenient to Disney Hall but they seated us by the kitchen. The mussels starter was very good, entree Sea bass was pretty good, pepper crusted flat iron was ok but pear tart too sweet, espresso poor: mine had crema my wife's had no crema and tasted like filter coffee and the bar could not seem to produce an almond liqueur-Disorrono, Amaretto no, but something arrived like orange not sure and after requesting again the second attempt was Anaro Montenegro also orange. Over all good, convenient so prices are understandably up there but service and food did not match the expense.

Josh was an amazing waiter. Very knowledgeable about the menu. Corkage fee is higher than most similar restaurants snd their wine list is not great or big. Onion soup and tomato soup were both excellent. Ahi tuna tartare was huge and delicious. Cajun shrimp start ample as an entree with some sides. Fries with the cheese sauce excellent as were the Brussel sprouts. Menu is smaller now that they have remodeled. Miss many of the items from the old menu are missed. This restaurant pre pandemic was always jammed with a pre theater crowd. Not the case any more. Hope they improve their menu.

We had a great time before our play and the service could not have been better. Food preparation was vastly improved from the last time we were in about a year ago. Like some other reviewers, we preferred the old interior decor and seating (it's quite hard-edged now) but it's stylish and trendy. We recommend the Caesar salad and the short ribs. We'll be back for the whole experience.

Our server was fantastic! Affable, charming and attentive. However, the salmon and cauliflower, which are usually excellent, left something to be desired, this time around. The salmon was undercooked and the cauliflower needed more seasoning.

Luckily for L.A. Music Center area food fans, Executive Chef Matt Smith has brought back great taste, attention to detail, and excellence. Simple things like the quality of goat cheese or the exacting quality of the toast and Gruyere in the soup. Chef Smith's French Onion Soup is literally the best we've ever tasted. Some of our favorite dishes are the tuna tartare starter, the beet salad, the French onion soup, steak with frites, and the Branzino. The braised short rib, and the loaded fries are also great. Really, you can't go wrong.

We went for brunch and the mimosa was the only thing that wasn’t really bad. The menu is very limited so we ordered a little gem salad, the loaded fries, some “crispy potatoes” and an iced latte, in addition to the mimosa. The latte was bitter and watery, the salad was missing some ingredients and bizarrely combined cucumbers and tomatoes with strawberries and the center of the lettuce, which is not meant to be eaten. The braised short ribs on top of the fries were not tasty or fresh, and the flavor was primarily grease. The side of potatoes was not crispy and it was also completely unseasoned and bland. The service was friendly enough, but not terribly attentive, given that we were the only table there and the server didn’t even ask how our food was after it was delivered. I only took one sip of the latte and she didn’t even think to ask if there was something wrong with it. I’ve eaten there a couple of times before and it was never anything more than average, but there is a reason that it was empty on a Saturday at 12:30pm, in spite of its location and proximity to the Broad and Music Center. This restaurant really needs a reboot!

This used to be a pretty restaurant -- as its name suggests, it used to try to look like a French bistro. They've since tried to modernize it (I guess), so now it looks more like a diner/Denny's. No longer charming. The booths are uncomfortable. Although our waitress was quite nice, the fellow who actually brought our food was very bad, twice insisting on bringing our entrees as we were just beginning our starters ~ even after we asked him to wait. The French onion soup was greasy; I ended up spooning off several spoons of grease. Disappointing.

The room that we were seated in at a very cold atmosphere, as well as the air conditioner was on and it was cold. You could tell by the other guests, body language that they were cold as well. When I asked the waitress about it, she said it’s always cold in here. I said the other room would’ve been better and she said no it’s cold everywhere all the time. She said, I even need to wear a shirt under what I’m wearing. I ordered the tuna tartare, and it wasn’t soft and the seasoning was not appropriate, in my opinion with it. The waitress, however, was Very good

Still not its former self when run by Patina... but getting better. Menu is still pretty limited. Salads are very pedestrian. Prices reflect what should be a little more polished dishes. But can't beat it for convenience when seeing a show at the Music Center or Disney.

Kendalls seems to have gone drastically downhill since the change of ownership and present management shows no inclination to change. It is quite obvious an economic decision has been made to take full advantage of it's captive (most of its patrons are going to the theatre-they do not drive to eat at Kendalls) audience. The food can vary but is never exceptional. The corkage fee is insulting. One wonders if the Music Center has any power it's lease to restore the once more than decent dining option to it's patrons.

The meals arrive so quickly that I think they are premade. My chicken was dry and served with a dish of mixed up vegetables that was not appetizing. No, I was not impressed. Waiters dressed in jeans. Even the couple next to me agreed. Houstons restaurant in Pasadena, is much better experience. My martini was awful. Martinis at Hustons sooo much delicious.

Gelato dessert was much too much (4 scoops for$8.00.)It should be offered as $2 per scoop and I would have taken 2. In general I think Kendall’s has gotten much more $$$$ without an improvement in anything. Without the old discounts it is losing clients to places like Abernathy and Vespaio, except when time is very short and location is essential.

This new Kendall's is not remotely close to being a good OpenTable restaurant with the change from the Cafe Pinot Restaurant chain. Since the end of the Covid 19 pandemic restrictions in Los Angeles, the return of Kendall's has been a downhill proposition as each visit brings less desirable entrees on the menu. Their chicken breast entree is equivelant to 1/2 of a Cornish Hen. The sparse menu leaves very little options so the best next choice is a salad with chicken. All of the menu items are so overpriced that going there is not a choice for us any longer. A glass of wine commonly $18 per glass, and a corkage fee of $45 to stop you from bringing your own favorite wine is not good business. The service is very good and servers are very friendly, however, this last visit we were dumbfounded looking at the menu given us. It was a breakfast menu and totaly confused us, while it was 6:00 pm in the evening.

Obviously this is where people go before a performance at the Music Center so they sort of have a captive "audience" On a Saturday night they didn't have one of the wines on the small wine list ... Our caesar salad came out asap and was awful - it was tasteless. Tuna tartare was good. The two fish entrees were ok - again with a frisee salad which was tasteless. I asked for salt and pepper (one of my pet peeves is not having that on the table) and we were brought shakers of the size you get on an airplane. Although we were nicely assured at the start of the meal that we would be out in time for the performance (we were there with plenty of time), when we ordered a cheese plate for dessert and the bill we got the bill and we waited over 20 minutes for the cheese plate to appear and when it didn't we called the waitress over and she said they were still putting it together - at this point the place was almost empty. We asked to have it taken off the bill. We made it to the performance but it was close. I felt it was overpriced and I won't be back.
