Service and food were on spot. We had just under an hour to dine before a 6 p.m. performance of Don Giovanni. Our entrees arrived shortly after we ordered them. The server told us they're used to working with high-volume orders on performance nights. We ate and made it to our seats sith 10 minutes to spare. The food was tasty and the pasta was done perfectly al dentè. The server and rest of staff were friendly which complimented a perfect evening. Unfortunately, we were in too much of a hurry to take pictures, but we'll return for the rest of the operas in the season. The restaurant is downstairs (street level) of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. You can't beat the acces or $10 parking. Both are a rarity in LA!

I miss the old French feel of the restuarant...the new white and cream and blue interior no longer feels like a French Brasserie. Also , this is now the second time that I ordered fish and it was raw in the center. At this rate, I am reticent to be ordering fish again.

We had a lovely meal and our server was very cordial and attentive. He saw to our every need. You always take such good care of me and my friends! That is why Kendall’s is my top choice when dining at The Music Center!

Came here for lunch prior to an Ahmanson show. The menu was brunch/lunch. I had only the caesar salad and shared a bread basket. The salad was ok - typical caesar and the bread basket was slices of french bread served with a garlic-herb spread. The food was overall just OK but I paid $32 for a salad and a few pieces of bread. I suppose I knew it was overpriced prior to coming but we didn't have much time to dine and it is located right on the premises of the Music Center. Does the convenience outweigh the price? Sometimes yes, sometimes no! Next time, I'll look more closely at other nearby options.

I am sorry to have to give Kendall's a poor review. It has been a place where we regularly eat before a show. I had the turkey, lettuce, tomato and bacon sandwich...yuk. It was on huge slices of dry sourdough bread with a stack of sliced turkey that tasted like it had come from Von's deli counter. The side salad was overdressed. My partner had the shredded beef sandwich and it was just OK. He had the tomato soup and it was lukewarm. Very disappointing.

What a change , I visited Kendall’s last when it still had ambiance. , now it looks like a fast food place Food needs more attention , my white wine mussels were bland. The French fries too greasy The beet salad too much dressing and the red beet was tasteless , the yellow one tasted better The Peartart I think it had been frozen , the crust was very mushy Our server was efficient and very friendly

This restaurant is totally ordinary and very overpriced. The food was fine, nothing unique, but the service was outstanding. Want 3 olives in you martini? They charge for olives after the first one! I wouldn't go back even though it is very conveniently located in the Music Center. There are many better options downtown.

When we 1st arrived, at 5:45pm, it was quiet, but as the night went on, it got noisier. We shared the brussel sprouts, steamed clams and tuna on avocado and my husband cleaned his chicken dinner plate. We also had some drinks, which were good, but very expensive. 3 people and the bill was over $300, after the tip. We eat here when we attend a play at the Ahmanson.

Kendalls is not what it used to be. The service was terrible. They had one person for a complete section of the restaurant. When the food was ordered, it was a few pieces of it was a sandwich and it was a few pieces of meat slap with cold bacon. I would never go there again. I do not recommend it and if you do go there, you have to be very very patient to get very, very, very, very average food.

The value for the price is not very good, just convenient (we had a show at the Ahmanson). Food eas bland. Seems unusual that a French bistro would not have escargot, duck l’orange or creme brulee. Mediocre at best.

We were late because of traffic (as usual in LA). We only had 45 minutes to eat before our show at the Ahmanson. Our waiter took amazingly great care of us. Delicious well prepared food. Amazing, quick service and we made it to our show in plenty of time. Would definitely make this a tradition when we come to the Ahmanson. David was our waiter and he made it a great experience.

Food was a disappointment on four out of six dinners ordered. Salmon was dry on Caesar salad, chicken over cooked on another Caesar salad, chicken on chicken dinner was pink and not edible, steak was not prepared rare. Onion soup had more bread (2 slices) and almost no onions, loaded fries were soggy and not crisp. Desserts were all great!!!!

We've gone to Kendall's for years, but it has changed a couple times. Lately the service has gotten much slower and less attentive. The food choices are not as interesting. Unfortunately, it is so convenient to the Music Center, it remains a convenient option.

Excellent service but she could only do so much... One weird martini had to be remade. Food was tasty but cold. The Brussels sprouts starter was tasty but cold - it had clearly been sitting around for a while. The caeser salad was actually good. The salmon main course was just warm enough but all the sides on the plate were cold. Not warm, cold. I asked for hot versions of the sides, one came back hot, the other came back just as cold. Would've been happy to wait another minute or two for them to actually heat it up. The prices are very expensive which is fine but the kitchen doesn't seem to know what temperature to serve their dishes at. BTW, been here many many times before (although it has been a while) and this is the first time I've ever experienced this.

Love the offerings, especially the crispy skin branzino. It can use more flavors. I loved Ally's royal service to us: meticulous, anticipatory as to our needs and responsive. Loved all her recommendations.

This restaurant has changed quite a bit since the last time I was there a few years ago. The menu is more limited and the prices are very high for what you get. The only reason to dine here is if you’re seeing a show at the Music Center.

We have enjoyed coming here for years, but the ambiance is not as nice since it was renovated, and the prices are quite high. We also miss many items from the old menu, although the shredded beef sandwich and shoestring fries were delicious. The cheapest bottle of wine was $55! There did not seem to be enough wait people, but we were not in a hurry so that was ok. The waitress just seemed frazzled.

I had Steak Frites. Wonderful combination. Steak was perfectly cooked and love their fries. For dessert I had the lemon tart. It wasn’t a typical tart and had a hint of marzipan crumble on top. Very yummy.
