Brunch menu is somewhat limited. Food was ok, but not great. The only reason to eat there is that it's the closest to the music center. The old menu under the old owners was much better.

Kendall’s is best place to dine before a performance at the music center. The only problem is it is a bit too loud, but the energy is great. The menu is traditional and very very good. Love!

Food and drink were very good. Flat iron steak was very tender and tasty. Salmon was also delicious, though maybe acould have done with a bit more browning on the topside (that's my preference).

Before the theater, everyone in our group loved our experience. Our Server was generous and took care of us. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. They even had amazing Zero Proof drinks that satisfied our adult palates. Job well done. We’ll go back.

I enjoy Kendall's even though it has always been overpriced. It's just part of my experience at the Music Center. The newest additional charge is for bread! Really? So not necessary....

I have been eating at Kendall’s for over 20 years! This is the first time the food was cold and the service horrible. We had theatre tickets (with plenty of time to eat 1 1/2hrs) and we had to get up and ask for our drinks, bread, our food and the check! We were seated in the auxiliary room for the first time and I will never do that again. I imagine staffing is low and it is the first this has happened…but it was completely unacceptable. Please correct. Thank you.

Kendall's was such a disappointment. First, the traditional brasserie fares that I was looking forward to, are no longer on the menu: oysters on the half shell, steak tartare, etc. The wine selection by the glass is limited. Then, our glass of brut rose got partially dumped on my jacket, and the restaurant did not offer to comp anything. Not a single gesture, except for a wet towel... The artisanal cheese plate on the table next to us looked very ordinary, so we opted for the mussels and fries. The fries were good, but the mussels very small and the broth was very salty. To top it off, the desert was really bad. I chose the apple and pear cake. It was at least 2 days old. Very stale, dense and all sugar. I could only ate one bite. We had great memories of Kendall's for the last 20 years. Hard to understand what happened in the last one!

Service was excellent. The beet salad and Garden salad were excellent. The quality of beef for Steak & Frites could be better quality for the price. The old frites “skinny fries” were much better. Paying for bread service is ridiculous. The overall menu is short, and uninspiring. No specials offered anymore. Not much French infusion. Crème brûlée with berries delicious.

Thank you so much for taking such good care of me and my friends. That is why Kendall’s is my go to eatery when I am at The Music Center! Cordially, Genni Klein

The French onion soup is why I chose Kendall's. It was not to the chef's liking so he scratched it. My Caesar salad had some kind of weird herb flavor to it which ruined the flavor. Something like cumin, oregano not sure. my protein was good. My guest had the salmon it was very good. however my meal was not good they brought me another salad, however it was just ok it had lettuce and dressing only not resembling any caesar I have ever eaten it is my favorite! I was sitting there eating alone because my guest had finished his meal. I think you probably have good food my I guess I was the one that got all the mistakes last night. I would probably recommend Kendall's, I have eaten here before. But maybe a few warnings would go with the recommend!

We consistently have a great dining experience at Kendall's Brasserie. Staff is friendly and mindful of theatre start times, the menu is simple and classic bistro. A special shout out to our server - Sylvie - she is simply the best, which makes for a most memorable dining experience.

Kudos to our server alone in the room. Since everyone sits down around the same time due to curtain times it's nearly impossible for one person to handle it but he did well. The creamy vegetable soup was subpar, it tasted like cream, proportion way off. Other food was good. Friendly greeting by host was nice.

The area we sat at was average, not interesting. I did ask to sit where it wasn’t crowded and they did move us to a more cafeteria wing. I ordered the short ribs which were excellent, hence my rating. Best I’ve had in a long time. My wife had salmon which I thought was somewhat bland. For appetizers we ordered their brussel sprouts which was also excellent. For dessert we had a pear cake and we added ice cream and that was good. We were there pre theater and in no rush and they were fine with that.

Terrible. Just awful. It looks like a college dormitory cafeteria. It used to be a fairly decent restaurant with French dishes under Mr. Splichal. Now it’s not French at all. At least the service was good even though there’s no maître d’hotel.

The food was excellent—brussels sprouts appetizers, wild mushroom side dish, mussels, French onion soup. The service was excellent and enthusiastic, the only small issue was a check split that was supposed to be 1/4-3/4 turned out to be 1/3-2/3

I made a reservation for my daughter and I pre show. We got there on time and were placed in a weird back room that only had one other table occupied (altho there were plenty of other tables available in the main room). There was also no one else who came into this space during the time we were there. Our waiter was nice and tried to be attentive. The food was good but basic. I was very disappointed!!

Kendall’s feels more like a hotel restaurant than a brasserie. The tables are very basic. A few nice cocktails, pricey. Salmon entree well prepared but very simple—like good home cooking. Portion generous. Veggie sides also generous and well prepared. We were disappointed to order a baguette for &5 and receive a basket of ordinary slices bread like you would get for free most places. Definitely not a baguette. The pear and apple dessert cake was the biggest miss. It was covered with cream cheese frosting like a carrot cake. Heavy and gummy. Coffee was not available due to a broken machine.

I took my granddaughter out for dinner before we attended a show at the Ahmanson. It was my first time at Kendalls since Covid began. The interior has been redone at a minimum cost and has lost the Leister and the ambience of what it used to be. The food is decent but way over priced.
