Kelsey's Restaurant - Ottawa Bank Street
Met some friends for a long overdue luncheon. Kelsey’s is half way for the 5 of us. Server took care of us, food was great and plentiful.
Best fish and chips I’ve had for a while. We were sat in a booth, both my cousin and I need a cane to steady ourselves. Stepping down from the booth is very dangerous without a light showing the drop. I think you would be liable should someone fall. Your table staff should be aware of handicapped aids and seat such persons appropriately.
Our meals were excellent, our waiter was awesome, friendly and very professional. Restaurant was very clean and ambience was relaxing. Nice to able to converse during a meal without loud music.
We called in advance because we only had an hour The food was great by the Waiter chatted to much If we had more time it would have been great but it wasn’t the time for it and we did call in advance to ask for fast service
Enjoyed our meals.
Disappointed that the restaurant bartender was the only one serving the high top tables, as we had booked for 16 people prior. This clearly made our meals and service limited to waiting for her to attend to the area. She was very personable and accommodating tho very busy as the high table area is quite large.
The spinach appetizer wasn't as full as we have received at other Kelsey locations so disappointing but the cauliflower appetizer was nice.
Good service. Pleasant helpful service, excellent steak. Not too loud music which is a nice change from most restaurants. Pleasant setting for a group or couple.
Salmon needed more spice, the chicken wings werent fresh, the steak took way too long from ordering to serving!! Food for value not good!!
Despite the power going out due to a violent storm, the staff were courteous and patient in dealing with the patrons. They had to figure out all of the bills and payment manually. The staff took on the challenge with grace. Well done!
The food was a bit bland to be completely honest but I would give this spot another chance!
