We were very surprised at how good the food was, how quick and efficient our server was and how fun the atmosphere was. We made a reservation for 5 and our table was ready. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. We were heading to a BlueJays game afterwards so wanted to eat quickly. The food came out fast and we were all pleased. I'd recommend akellys Landing.

The location is excellent for any event downtown. We were taken to our table, which we then requested to change. This was accommodated seamlessly. The servers were all amazing. A littje confusion over our order was remedied immediately.

Fabulous front of house: greeting, walking me table, letting me know guest was early, pointed out the washroom and delivered me to table. Bea (server) was terrific. Let down by too few staff for plate clearing and water refill. Terrific tuna sushi, loved my curry chicken, ok naan - points for fresh made. Didn’t look close enough at the flatware, was wondering if my knife had serrated edge slightly offset/dull ? Sort of amusing that the fire alarm sounded so long without any kind of announcement. The “robot voice” to clear the building came on after four minutes - there should have been an in-restaurant comment/instruction by someone. Looking forward to a future visit, Alan.

Went there before seeing the Blue Jay game. Had never been before but have always walked by it and was curious. I thought the menu had a lot of selections. I decided to have the Bacon Jam and Cheddar Burger. The bacon jam itself was fantastic so tasty, it definitely enhanced the flavour of the burger, In fact I was so impressed with it that I asked the server if there was any chance they sell it and if I could buy a jar of it. No dice. But I gotta say I felt the burger itself was a little small and considering I was paying over $20.00 I felt they were a bit stingy on the fries, seriously they were delicious, but I think I counted 8 fries on a small dish.. I had a Caesar to drink, and the bartender did put a good amount of tabasco on there, but I felt like it could have used a pinch more of horseradish. The staff was attentive, they were always checking in at regular intervals to see how we were doing and asking if we needed anything, and that was impressive considering it was a game night. I would go back just for the bacon jam, maybe convince them to sell me a jar or put it on something else on the menu.

It was a great time! The food was good and the drinks as well. Our server wasn’t coming around very often which made it a bit hard to ask updates on our food as it took a bit of time and finally asking for the bills. Otherwise it was a nice evening
