For basic bar food it’s good. The beef sandwich needed a jus of some kind. We were told it came with a side of truffle fries so we didn’t order a basket separately but it came with their basic waffle fries. The burger was good and the chicken salad was okay. They don’t carry any of the high end wines they used to. It’s all just average, but still has a great location and ambiance.
Need to get their tap system repaired. No draft beers that night.
Was asked uf i want a little plate of food for dog. I said no thanks. When waiter returned with drinks he asked again. I so "no" . He asked if u were sure thst it would be no oroblem. I figured just some chopped up scraps and must be complimentary so i said sure.
They bring out a plate of overcooked burger crumbles and charged me $16 for it. I dont think their human burgers were that expensive. Btw my 2 dogs weigh 18 lbs put together.
Use to love the place
The food was good, the atmosphere was gorgeous, and the service by Kamille was fantastic! Thanks for a great night!
When I walked in, I thought okay it's a bar. But we sat on the patio and it was lovely. Chairs comfortable for outside chairs. Hostess Cat was hospitable and our waitress, Jacqueline was just perfect. Drinks were delicious. I had a happy hour dirty martini and girlfriend has a glass of wine. The humus, pita and vegetables were great and tasted really very good. We shared the salmon on mashed potatoes. Perfectly cooked and very tasty. Good portions on everything. I would go back.
They weren’t open at the time of the reservation. I was able to make the reservation on OpenTable and their hours listed on google said they open at 11am on Sundays. When we arrived for our 12pm reservation they weren’t open and apparently don’t open until 2pm on Sundays. Rather inconvenient given that this was Mother’s Day.
We are a Golf Cart Tour company that offers Progressive Culinary Tours. Our group on this day raved about the food and customer service at this location. We will visit Kelly’s each and every time we have a Food Group.
We are definitely food lovers. I booked this because it was open on a Friday night in the area we wanted. Then was very pleasantly surprised at the great food and outdoor dining.
The waitress was only there for five days. She admitted that and got answers to our questions. They were still recuperating from St. Patrick's Day. Everything went fine and was enjoyed by all.
Our waiter was Zach. He did a great job. He was professional, polite and very personable. Way to go, Zach.
Would highly reccomend ,neat place. Menu had changed since last year
Good food, busy place on the weekends, just need to shut the AC off at night from blasting the table. All good once we moved tables.
When we walked in we told them we had an OpenTable reservation for 3, they said, "oh I am not sure if we are serving dinner anymore. Then they came back and said, yes, they would serve us. That should have been our first clue. Don't go, there are many better places to enjoy meals with family and friends. I will not return!
Hadn't been to Kelly's for at least two years when they did a menu overhaul (bring back the seared ahi!) and had less than spectacular service. Gave it a shot this past Saturday and enjoyed the meal, had very attentive service and the patio is always great. The only "oops" was they told OpenTable we cancelled the reservation which was funny since I gave the my name and told them I had a reservation and they pointed right at it.
Thanks to OpenTable for honoring the reservation anyway - and quickly!
Food was great, awesome appetizer list (except they got rid of the cheese curds) and small but good entree selections. There was a corporate party of some nature on a Friday night which made for a nearly impossible conversation to occur at our table. DJ with very loud music made for an unsettling dinner.
Went to Kelly's for lunch. Had bruschettas and burgers. Fantastic food. Would go again for sure.
we were placed at a table with no server. I went to the bar to order our drinks and food. A server did come by and apologize and the service was good after that
Great food. Sloooooow service. Granted it was Friday. Took almost 20 minutes to get someone to come by our table.
Great menu- something for everyone! Terrific chef & management. Sensitive to allergies. Seafood tastes fresh.
I ate at Kelly’s and I found this place to be Ok for drinks or appetizers. The place is a little bit loud so if that’s what you’re looking for that’s a great place to go right in the heart of Scottsdale near the waterfront.
We never ate because we waited more than 15:00 for anyone to acknowledge we had been sat. Our server never came over, or by our entire section. I even went back to the hostess to tell her that no one had come over. No one ever came to our table, so we left.
Host sat us at a dirty table; took longer than usual to get water, then our drinks. Our burgers were all over cooked. We sent them back, the next round were over cooked, but we ate them because we were hungry. We’ve usually had good service/food in the past, however, not this time. Very disappointing. Our friends won’t return after this first not so great visit.
Have been going to Kelly’s for about a year. Only disappointment are the martini’s. When we first started going there, always got a full glass. Recently, they have reduced their pours. Very disappointed.
The first thing about Kelly's is it is in a great position to watch life go by - and I would recommend sitting outside in the large patio are they have so that you can do just that. The food is excellent - I recommend one of the salads or they do very good fish and chips as well.
Standard bar fair was good. Try the “fruffle fries”! Service was really good, waitress was very friendly, didn’t rush us. . Patio was nice and relaxing. Would recommend as a cool place to relax and unwind.
Great time! it is always one of my go to restaurants when I have new coworkers in town.
Service started very slow but improved as evening went on. Food was very good ,burgers are delicious.
Very noisy young persons get together.
We are an older group . Would definitely go back but not on the weekend and when we could sit outside ..too crowded and noisy inside for our generation.
Over 60 crowd
Service was friendly and fine overall. Food was solid. Short rib sandwich was excellent. Fish and chips were ok. Environment, even in the formal seating area, is a bit bar-like. If you are with a group and up for a bar feel, this place will do quite well. For a couple, it is probably a bit noisy/informal.
It was a great meal and experience. The only issue was that our reservation time in their system was for 6:30 while I made it for 7 o’clock on my phone, so there was initial confusion with that.
Kelly's was a surprise find. The food was good, and they were very accommodating considering we had five year old twin boys with us, and it was a late night! Parking was disasterous! We had to ask for the music to be turned down so that we could hear each other for the purpose of conversation, and after it was, we had a pretty good time.
Fun and inviting. Loved the appetizer and wine selections. Bonus was fun environment, music and friendly staff.
We decided to eat in this restaurant because it seemed beautiful. The atmosphere is nice and the food was good. The food Took a while to come and we had to call the waitress to check with the kitchen. Besides this incident I have no complaints. The prices are fair and the salmon as well as the pork chop were delicious. The staff was very friendly too. I would suggest make reservation.
Loud and slow. We were on the patio and the bar across the street had the vol on hi. Could not hear our conversation. Food was average and took long to come out.
Food was really good. Service was ok we felt we were forgotten a couple of times. We were sitting outside and the bar was busy inside. Two times we had to get and find our server. We had a problem with the chicken parm, it was to spicy and my wife couldn’t eat it. They replaced the meal with the salmon which she loved. I had the filet it was good. They did comp us two drinks for the dinner issue.
Delicious food with excellent service! I found my new lunch spot!
